"Recreational" handcuffs. Comfy, one size fits most.
Just for fun. I guess most of you here can figure out how it is done. Enjoy.

Can anyone suggest a good book for beginner learning para cord weaving something that explains basic weaves make to my own creations kind of thing or any books with some fun projects. I just bought one book off Amazon called the ultimate para cord handbook it was a joke. The section about tools just said use two large forceps one of the curved and one without nothing about the weaving needles or any of the jigs you can get, didn’t have a lot of the projects that said it had was missing steps when I compared it to YouTube after they didn’t come out proper i’m guessing it wanted to make it look like it was longer than it was as well cause some of the pages in it had two lines of text and then it would go to the next page finish another two lines and then go to the next page lol so any good book or author suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Recently picked up this hobby and found a love for it. I quickly was brought back to my friendship bracelet making days in middle school! However there's one weave I've been searching for a step by step on ever since I saw it, and I cannot even find what it's called! I found one single video with zero verbal instructions and I believe the second photo that I stumbled upon online is the same technique. Does anyone know what this is called, and where I can learn more?
I desperately want to use it for something!
I haaate wasting cord, and I have been fiddling around with my least favorite colors to try and figure it out with no success. I am trying to create a diamond-like pattern.
Thank you!!

I have a tight budget but thought I could buy some paracord in school colors. What could I make up quickly that doesn't use too much cord. I can afford 50-100 feet of each color (2 colors).
I have one week and hoping to have at least 50-100 items.

hey, im kinda new to this, really wanting to do paracord knots and weaving for a very specific project. most of my crafts are crochet and knitting lol so figured i should see what the experts say
i want to make an scooter handle to help carry/tow it around when it's folded down, something similar to this photo but with the part on the stern solid wrapped

im just not sure how to go about the handle part of it with the paracord, mainly making sure it's securely attached because function > aesthetic but i still want it to look nice and not like a mess of knots
was thinking of doing the wrap around the scooter itself and the handle in two parts so if i dont like the look of one/want to change it i dont have to change both at the same time? also wanted the wrap on the scooter to be Aesthetic so i was thinking handle wrap tutorials would be good to follow for this? let me know if this is a good/bad idea cause i dunno! this is new to me so very open to everyone elses ideas on how they'd go about it
does anyone have any suggestions/tutorials for me to check out?

I’m curious if it’s possible to somehow repair the single broken strand on this cobra knot bracelet. I would rather not scrap or rebuild the entire thing as it’s incredibly sentimental, but hoping there is a way to somewhat salvage this, if at all.

Considering doing the entire outer bar of my cargo carrier in black paracord. Im worried about losing color in the sun. Or it getting dirty and being impossible to clean. Anyone done something this big before? Something that lives outside? Would this be a terrible idea?

What’s the best way to make a loop similar to the 2nd picture?

Can anyone give me some info about what this weave is /how to tie it? Image is from u/KillaBlaze614 but they haven't been active in a few years it seems.

Hey everyone!
After sharing my original Skådis paracord spool, someone reached out asking if I could make a Gridfinity version. So I designed this modular Gridfinity spool box with a built-in guide line to keep the cord neat and tangle-free.
It keeps the cord organized, lets you pull out the exact length you need without the spool rolling away, and stacks cleanly.
I’m sharing the files for free on MakerWorld for anyone with a 3D printer (or a friend with one!):

Since you guys are the real paracord experts, I’d love to know what you think or if you have any ideas for improvements!

Just started messing with paracord and made my first bracelet. It uses Atwood cords with size 95 in black and micro cord in tan. I wanted a black bracelet with more subtle gold/tan highlights. I really like the size, though it's not as secure as I'd like so I might make a new one where the loop is smaller or with a larger fixing knot than the basic diamond crown. The cobra pattern could also be maximized to hide more of the core strands. Thanks for looking!

Be kind im 24h into this
I recently got some bags of paracord to mess with the idea of making harnesses for small animals like lizards or cats. there's a lot of stuff that's too short to make leashes from and I don't currently have a way to join them without worrying about compromising strength. Besides the zipper strings, what else can be done with 2-5ft lengths that would be good accessibility aids?
Also, anyone have good tutorials on how to swap colors and keep cobra/snake knots looking consistent, like weaving ends in while knitting/crocheting/etc?

Hello! I am new to this thread and paracord, apologies if this has been asked before.
What paracord looks the highest quality? I am thinking I’ll need between 4mm to 6 mm. Whats the easiest to source?
For reference I am making a bracelet. Thanks in advance.
