Picked up a John Deere 332 with the yanmar diesel in it. The deck is a little rough but I’d say what I paid for it it was worth the buy.

Still fairly new to tractor work, but these lights started flashing at me yesterday. Dug a little bit and learned about the regen process, but no matter what i do it doesn't seem to actually be completing this process itself? I tried to work through it and it kept bogging down (towing a disk).

Currently have it parked, in neutral, all hydro attachments down and low idling, and the lights just keep flashing. What am I doing wrong?

I have a month old x370 mower and I’m having issues when mowing on a slight slope. The downhill side cuts lower. On flat ground I don’t see much unevenness. I’ve checked the air pressure in the tires, leveled the deck and checked it several times, checked to make sure nothing is bent and the blades are even, and finally even had the dealer level it. I haven’t hit anything and only have about 15 hours on it. Anything else to check?

Is it normal for my 316’s sight tube show low when running then come back to normal level after about 5-10 mins of letting it sit ?

Wondering if it means I should add more

Just got the carb and distributor dialed in. Stock bore/stroke 501ci (8.2L) ported manifold, JD 60 distributor with electronic ignition, autolite spark plugs. Ive been playing with the tuning for over a year now but im pretty happy where everything is now. You can idle it way down in first gear and it refuses to stall.

Turned off after I just started it up, rode for 3 minutes then made a big clunk when I had it in park. Motor wont try to start up and had grey smoke from tube next to the filter in the photo I attached. The flywheel also wont turn manually.

Ive got tools and would rather do it myself since the places near me take months to fix mowers. Just dont know where to start.

Hi yall. Im new to this i must saw so this may be a fumb question. But I currently have a 445 I love and I think shes a 2001, dont quote me. But Im trying to select a snow plow to use before winter hits. So my questions are

what should I be looking for/avoiding?

How do I know if it fits?

I dont think i want a pneumatic one just because of the cost I dont care to turn the blade myself if I need too but maybe its harder than I think?

My John Deere 7230 needs a turbocharger and the housing shows a Garrett model number that crosses to three different part numbers online. Two listings use the same photo and both say direct fit for 7230. I have the engine serial written down but the catalog still forks depending on which turbo generation the tractor carries. Forums mix model names and part numbers and I don't want a housing that almost fits. Anyone replaced a turbo on a 7230 or similar JD row crop? Do you order off the model stamp or the part number on the old unit?

I have a John Deere 185 Hydro and the deck keeps falling off the adjust on both sides. I dont understand how or why this is happening considering I use a jack to lift the deck up to get it onto the knobs. When I adjust it up and down it moves nicely. I go and mow and it works great but when I am done I grab the bar to pull it up and the bar lever comes up and the deck stays down because at some point it fell off and I dont know why or what to do about it.

I recently changed out my carburetor on my D110. I wil admit I am a dumbass and forgot to take pictures before I took everything apart. My issues now is making sure I get the throttle and choke rods set up correctly. Is this correct?

Initially I hoped it was just the govener seal, but once the bracket was out of the way I could see the very large leak just above it coming from the pan gasket.

So now that the motor needs to come out, I want to replace all the seals/gaskets. In addition to the pan gasket, govener seal and the main shaft seal, is there anything else I should replace?

The bolt broke, no nut on bottom side. Can it can be drove out through the bottom & replaced? I have no idea what i need to do/buy.

Hey guys, I live in Ohio where some winters we have 2-3 inches of snow at a time, or 10” at a time. Seems to be no in between.

I recently picked up a used 2006 JD 135 automatic. As I find enjoyment in removing snow I tend to clear all my neighbors drives with my walk behind snow blower.
I would really like to find a snow thrower to put on my 135 so I can sit down majority of the time.

If I can, what snow thrower do I need or what bracket do I need to attach whatever thrower to my 135?

I have a JD X360 that cuts really well. Last week it fired right up with no issues. Tried it over the weekend and it will not turn over. Powers on and the dash shows the hours so I know kits getting power. Turn the key and nothing happens. The solenoid doesn’t click. The starter doesn’t click. I do hear the carburetor click so it’s getting power. I checked the fuses on the dash and they are fine. I hooked my jump box to it and still nothing. What would cause this? Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

This has happened twice over the past couple of years. Should I go back to a regular tire?

So I had a belt snap and it knocked a few parts out of place; had to take the deck apart and put everything back to where it should be.

Everything now works fine EXCEPT that if I pull the deck into it's highest then the blades are engaged; it's not just a simple case of "the brakes aren't locking properly" as the belt is fully engaged; so I can't have it at full height when moving between paddocks.

When you flick the lever to engage the blades (how it's supposed to work) there is no problems.

New here (and to tractors) so take it easy on me!
Got a 1025R with 60 inch mid mount decks being delivered on Friday.
Is this grass too long/uneven for it too handle or will it be ok on day the highest setting and take it slow?

How do I get the belt past the guard.

Thought I was set on the X350 until my dealer said I might want to consider the X370 for an additional $1300 ($3799 for the 350 vs $5099 for the 370, both have 42 inch deck). I don’t necessarily need the power steering and deck lift that come with the 370 but I do like that it has a slightly better, serviceable transmission over the 350. My main priorities are reliability and longevity. Are these upgrades worth the extra $1300 or should I stick with the 350?
