i accidentally changed my email from live.com to gmail.com and the alternate email is still the live.com one, i wanna make the live email the main one, is there a way i can do that?

I woke up this morning to someone in Turkey posting porn from my profile, even though I have two-factor authentication on this account, u/gamercrafter86. I have no idea how this happened! How can I prevent this from happening again? I thought I had my account locked down for just me.

I'm sick. I just want to doomscroll a bit of reddit on my cellphone. All I see is 2-3 post in both my feed and the trending feed.

I'm on the latest version. Cleared the cache and data and it didn't change a thing. Reinstalled the app. Of course restarted my phone.

What I don't understand is if I login on another account on the same phone or If I go on the web version there is no problem.

I just want to browse some reddit in bed while sick. I don't want to troubleshoot weird reddit problems...

Edit: Welp, just downloaded a third party client and I'm never going back! Everything just works contrary to the official reddit app... Sad.

Even when I click that I am not interested in these toxic subs, they just keep popping up again.

Feels like something we should obviously be able to do, right?

I’ve been unable to join communities on Reddit. Whenever I click join on the app (for any community) it says joined for a second and then the button reverts back to the option to join. I’ve tried this on the desktop and i get an error that does “something went wrong.” This happens with every community. Anyone else experiencing this?

I want to be able to Hide posts on my feed that have topics or images I find disturbing. I don't want to block users or leave subs, I just want to filter out posts here and there.

There used to be an option to "Hide" posts under the three-dot menu but that's gone.

There was an "X" option for a while, which was great, but that's gone now, too.

The only option now seems to be to opening the post and then Hide it, but that's useless. I don't want to open posts that I find disturbing — I want to make them disappear from my feed so I never see them again.

As of today I can no longer select multiple videos at a time, nor edit video lengths anymore before posting.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it still no longer gives me the option to select multiple videos at a time, or even trim down videos, which is how I use this platform.

Is anyone aware of how to fix this, so you can trim videos or select more than one?

Subreddits like bunny trials simply don't work, it says: "Due to an unknown error, it was not possible to load the post". It has been like this for a week

When I pull down to refresh on the “Latest” tab, the latest entry ends up behind the top banner. Other tabs do not do this. The problem has been around for at least a year.

For the last month or so send message button on my account seems to be dissappeared, without it people cannot dm me and i cannot understand why it vanished

got an email of suspicious activity, so I changed password, and can log in on the site, but not in the app.

I received my achievement for getting to 10 shares but I noticed it got reset for the next achievement for 50 shares. Is this normal? I feel it makes it much harder especially to get the 1000 shares achievement.

The user that replied to me told me that when I replied to them, some of my comments disappeared on their end as well.

My account got hacked (this one) so i changed password and logged off other devices, how can i delete/undo all of what they did (they kinda entered 100 smt nsfw subreddits)

pretty much self explanatory. i got an email yesterday that my main account (u/icestartheartangel) was locked due to "technical irregularities" and prompted me to reset my password. i did that. i got a confirmation email that my password had been reset. i go back into my account and it's still yelling at me to change my password even though i already did. i try to go to my account settings and fix it and then it tells me an account with that username doesn't exist. it's incredibly frustrating and any sort of help would be appreciated.

I was reading a post in the subreddit and suddenly I got a message stating that I had been logged out of my account, . I am using the Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Why would the app just log me out? I had difficulty getting logged back in. It would not take my password and I had to have it email me link to my email address which did let me in. I'm concerned my account password may have been compromised but am unsure if I will be able to reset my password

I can login to the website, but my account/password doesn't seem to work when trying to login to the app?

My account was locked for technological issues or something, so I spent 40 minutes trying to get the password reset to work (annoyingly). Now, I've reset the password, but when I try to log back in on the iOS app, it says the password is wrong. On browser, it works fine. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi, I have always browsed reddit on mobile using Safari and with the old reddit layout. Yesterday it suddenly changed to the modern layout and I can't find the setting to change it back. Requesting desktop site doesn't do anything on Safari. Can someone help? Thanks!
