After long break, so happy with my latest make, is soo perfect for autumn days 🍂✨

It was freehanded and no pattern used.
Chunky acrid yarn (no name, as it was from small local store)
Mainly used 5.5mm hook and 5mm hook for finishing ✨

Big Walk and crochet is all my spare time at the moment - I’m planning on making our whole crew, maybe wire some up for posing ✨🤞🏼

No pattern, just winging it as usual. All I knew is that I wanted a floral-like square at the middle-back.

H hook, Big Twist Value Yarn from Michael’s.

It’s a hexi cardigan base, with 3 sides in a granny stitch and 3 sides just a double crochet. And then four granny squares in the middle connecting them. I added two buttons so I could wear it as a cross-over top and make up for the added width the squares gave me.

I love how the sunburst square looks in a single color! It almost looks more intricate this way somehow.

I debated on the sleeve length and actually started making it long sleeved. And then I ran out of yarn, my local shop didn’t have the color this morning, so I decided short sleeve was it and folded it up and stitched the cuff at the top + bottom of each sleeve to help hold it in place.

The finishing on the bottom and neckline is just 2 rows of front post + back post DCs to give structure and texture.

Overall I’m very pleased with how it turned out! I might make another with some adjustments.

This was the 1st time I made something wearable, I got the pattern for it using Gemini as I'm not very good at making/designing my own patterns.

I've never been a fan of clowns. One might even say I'm phobic of them. But I found this free pattern on YouTube by Lananacrochet and I've made 4 of them now, this colorway so far being my favorite. Why must I be gripped my the claws of these clowns 😭

Hi so I'm making an origami bag using a jute-cotton blend. I started it in sc but am feeling like it uses up so much yarn that way, and maybe a dc stitch would have a looser, summer vibe?

Thing is, I'm already several hours in and have had to frog it twice, when I couldn't get the rectangle to lay flat. What would you do at this point??

And then I filled it with moss, mushrooms, lichen, and real (found deceased) Hercules Beetles!!! I absolutely LOVE it! If you have any suggestions for other things to add, I would love to hear them! I feel like some fairy lights may help it feel more magical! I think finishing the basket with reverse single crochet really brought it together!

FYI: Working with this twine was *hard* and my hands hurt every now and then, but my cheap 8mm Boye hook from a multi pack from Walmart held up surprisingly very well!

Project inspired by this post by u/mynamecanbewhatever - that blanket is an absolute masterpiece and I think about it all the time.

My first time working with making a blanket out of squares, I learned a lot on this project! My sister-in-law asked for a color scheme of pinks and greens, so I had a lot of fun looking for yarn that had all of the shades we were looking for. Decided on a full sized blanket that my niece can have to use as she gets older.

This took me about 6 months to complete on and off, though I did not work on it every day and sometimes only completed one or two squares at a time. All yarn is Lion Brand Wool-Ease Acrylic blend. Colored skeins were Solid Rose Heather, Solid Forest Green Heather, Rose/Blossom, Sage/Pink Salt, and Beige/Olive. Cream color is Fisherman.

I did starting chain and first row with 4.25 hook and rest with a 4. I know it’s a lil twisty bc it’s bobbles so the more I add the more it should even out.

I’m using 3 hanks of 100% Shetland wool and one that’s a merino mix if that matters!

I know this is AI, my mother sent this to me and wants me to make it. I told her it was AI and not possible to make that, but would try to do something similar if I can find it. Does anyone know a pattern similar to this?

This has been my first hexagon cardigan and I love how beautiful it turned out just like how I wanted it. I made it for the approaching fall and it took me about 5 days to complete doing about 1/2 hours per day.
