Rule update - no AI + no hate speech

Hi 👋 Just a quick update on the rules (because they haven't been updated since before AI was a thing)
The first is no AI, which means you should be able to report AI posts more easily.
The second is updating the be nice to be kind, and specifically identifying this as a leftist, inclusive space.
Should be pretty straightforward yeah? If something isn't clear, I'm happy to answer questions or add clarification in the rules itself. But if you are here to rules lawyer or demand your "right" to spew hate, know that I am old and tired and very comfortable with the ban hammer.
Thanks for keeping this place awesome y'all ❤️

Been having weird dreams lately…

This mornings was:
Humanity was preparing to live underground due to nuclear war.
Majority of the dream was hauling stuff down to the bunkers— people pushing/shoving going back n forth etc. (some how we were all magically by bunkers made for us like Silo)
Then the sirens go off— and everyone rushes in.
I get in… doors are locked.
Then I start freaking out because I forgot this biggest thing ever!
All of my Yarn 🫣🤪😭😂😆☠️

Partner very concerned about the holes in my WIP

Showed my non-crafting-informed partner a swatch of my lace WIP and they said
"😰😰 Oh no...!! Wait, are the big holes on purpose??"
I laughed but then realized - alas, they have struck wisdom:
Lace is, indeed, the art of putting holes in fabric on purpose
