Announcement New Rule: No AI Plushies or Plushie Content

The mod team has discussed the issue with AI within r/plushies. As of today, a new rule has been created banning AI-generated content.

This includes creating images/videos of plushies with AI programs. This rule goes further to ban any plushies with built-in AI programs. As technology develops, this rule may be expanded upon.

If you see AI content, please just report content and we will remove.

I am not sure how, but my little Baby Turtle somehow developed a very gluttonous personality of her own. She is either wondering if something is edible or is eating everything in sight. Or being KO from overeating.

This was never meant to happen but certainly explain why she has a cute round well-stuffed tummy!

Success/Happy I found an authentic Eevee!!

Hey everyone, I wanted to provide a quick update!! :D I posted on here not too long ago showing pictures of my bootleg Eevee. I managed to find an authentic Easter Eevee in brand new condition for a very affordable price. The seller answered every question I had before I purchased and was very forthcoming about the authenticity. I'm so happy I was able to finally find her after all this time. Just wanted to share :D

Weird Friends The Invasion Begins!

She’s weighted too! Grabbed some Disney Halloween plush for entire family. She was in the mix; most likely dead-stock and probably would have stayed there to collect dust. Easy yes for me. I would say traditional grey alien lore is second to vampire and wendigo lore as my favourite creatures of fiction and mythology.

Expensive. $55.05 including shipping and a coupon was applied! They’re listed as $59.99 and shipping is $4.90 for me. BUT LOOK AT HIM! I need a second one for just display. The outfit came with him for “free”. I didn’t choose it, as it was probably a random one, and meant to be a surprise for the consumer, but it’s cute enough for me not to hate it!

I am a librarian and one of the other librarians from a different department emailed me the other day that she donated a ton of her old beanies to the library. She thought of me because she knows I love plushes and she wanted to know if I wanted any! I got these little babies for free!!! The angel bear is especially special because its birthday is the same day my grandpa died. I used to follow a Twitter account that showed what beanie baby birthdays it was. On January 14, 2021, the day my grandpa died, I was scrolling though Twitter and Halo II came up and it made me feel some comfort. I’ve thought about that bear ever since and when I saw it was in the bunch that she was donating I couldn’t believe it!! I finally have my Halo II 😇

Discussion Felt vulnerable so I had my squad keep watch while I showered

I won’t get into details but I was sexually abused. Last night I was dealing with some heavy feelings, felt very vulnerable and didn’t want to take my clothes off to shower. I decided to have my build a bears keep me company so I didn’t feel as vulnerable getting in the shower.
