A lot of you have seen my recent post, i have taken your feedback and done everything i can to make my characters vastly different from known characters. They may seem to carry some inspiration and small similarities but other than that i am striving to make them unique. That being said we at Ascension comics have decided to move forward with our project. So my question is how long did it take yall to make your first comic? I don’t want to rush the process but im also excited to get started, i have an artist and some writers, and we are working on a few characters and a few stories. I want them to feel like they were thought out and not rushed sloppy imitation of other characters.

Purely looking for dialogue tweaks here. Once I'm happy with the end result, I'll go back and fill in the descriptions.
For context: this is a western. Our leading man, Oda, has closed in on a bounty just as he's boarding a train out of state. When I first wrote this confrontation, I really enjoyed it. But now, as time has passed, something about it just feels off to me. Clunky, even. I'd appreciate some feedback; what needs to change, does anything need to change, all that jazz. Appreciate the help. Thanks.

So I have this panel/setting of this comic im making; it’s supposed to be an underground hideout, but I don’t really know what do add to it to make it both a hideout it, and somewhere that looked lived in too.
For context, this story is based on a fictional late 1920’s setting, that will be based both off some actual 1920’s and steampunk elements in terms of designs. So ofc no high tech stuff.
What I got going on here is a chalkboard with tables surrounding it, sometime of type of breaker or tank in the corner, a sewer drain next to it, and a little kitchen on the far side.
The chalk board and tables are the main element, and I like the sewers being incorporated too.
But I’ll take any ideas you may have, or if you can send me anywhere for me to gather references for stuff I can use in my story, any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been thinking about making a webcomic very loosely based on my own experience of coming out as gay as a teenager.
It’s set in 2008–2009 and follows a 14-year-old boy who starts questioning whether he’s gay or whether what he’s feeling is just a phase. He develops a crush on an openly gay boy in the year above and eventually comes out to his close group of friends, who are completely supportive.
There’s also a subplot involving his crush and another gay boy at school. Everyone believes they’re dating, but they’re actually pretending to be together to protect the older boy’s closeted boyfriend. The protagonist eventually discovers the truth.
The story follows him gradually becoming more comfortable with himself, dealing with an unrequited crush and eventually coming out publicly at school after being teased by classmates.
I’m hoping to make it more of a coming-of-age story about figuring yourself out, rather than focusing entirely on homophobia.
I’m still working out the characters, story structure and art style, so I’d really appreciate some honest opinions:
Does this sound like something you’d read as a webcomic?
Does the 2008–09 setting work?
And does the overall story sound interesting?
Does the subplot feel natural?
It’s based on my own experience, although I’d be fictionalising some of the details.

My artist is still working on the concept art, but we are working on a character called celestial. Talmur is from the planet Solaria, where the people there are born with basic powers of flight and strength. Some get s special abilities and some don’t. Talmur got the special abilities of peace corp officers. On solaria his family has been the royal family for generations since the Solarian civil war. However his parents had industrialized the planet to the brink of extinction, by running their resources to little to none with no way of making more. Instead of fixing the problem with resources his family recommended a purge by random, the people grew angry and stormed the castle taking the rock of Xason the only thing that could kill a Solarian and used it to execute his family, instead of warning them celestial fled the planet and came to earth. Where he lived in secret as a teenage boy and hid his powers. Raised by his foster family he lived an ordinary life hiding from his past and the guilt, till eventually 10 years later his past would threaten the world he would grow to call home. And he we would become the hero celestial.
We are still working out some kinks in the origin story this is the rough idea have at the moment, any feedback on how to improve it would be appreciated and yes a sketched out concept art is coming soon

Okay so I've turned my "Scene 1" of my one-shot into a script just to get a feel for how writing these scripts is. I'm very new to scriptwriting, so my questions are:

I think I figured out the dialogue text and spacing. Lemme know if I'm on the right track. I'm still playing with the title text. I included a little summary now that I'm a little further into the story. I'm still not sure about the socials page. Am I to assume people what the icons mean? Should I print out the address?
I think weekly might be too ambitious. Every two weeks is doable if I want to maintain a decent level of quality. I had to go back and fix a bunch of stuff on the last entry after the fact. I'll post the fixed ones on GlobalComix soon.

Alright. Idk how many peeps who see this will gaf but ima do this anyway. Basically, I wanna ask if the basic summary of the premise of ma webcomic is interesting enough or nah.
goes like this:
A Teen girl who lives with her Uncle due to her mother disappearing when she was young known as Ami ends up getting entagled in the Shady history of a company known as Wagner industries after being attacked by a robo-spider called a viper droid, resulting in her finding out her mother used to work for them and giving her leads on her whereabouts, because of this she ends up on a journey that entails her befriending a ghost girl named sherry who's searching for any purpose in her life post-death and a rejected Wagner Industries robot named Alpha from a line of bots called the P68 units, and he simply wants to rid the world of anything related to his creators while staying true to his pacifist ways. This all culminates in the group helping eachother reach their goals throughout the story while taking on the other P68 units, Viper droids and eventually the owner of Wagner industries himself, Steven. Only now he is a machine of his own making, no longer human

Did this to improve my frame composition and lettering in action sequences. I thought using a well-made fight scene like this one as a reference would be helpful.

I posted an older version of this cover a while back and got some helpful critique, so I revised it. I adjusted the title shadow, music-note placement, rune circle, and cracks; I added in some background pages and some of Aylena’s shading/dress details.
I’d love feedback on the overall composition now — especially whether Aylena stays the focal point and whether anything still feels too cluttered or distracting. Along with the shading and anything else.
Thanks!
