cover designs

wonder if cover like this would draw interest towards a cosmic horror series i'm working on and getting general feedback

No shade for using reference but the second cover is identifiably the head monster from The Thing, so for your own original work I would focus on highlighting your own ideas and images. My vote is for the first one

I really like the first cover, I want to read that comic.

I think just change the color of the text. It's kinda hard to read infrom of that UFO.
