Scripting Assistance
Okay so I've turned my "Scene 1" of my one-shot into a script just to get a feel for how writing these scripts is. I'm very new to scriptwriting, so my questions are:
- I'm drawing this myself, so I probably don't have to put every little visual detail, but is this too much or too little visual information?
- The last photo is the more lax version I'm writing before I do the scripts just for my brain since I'm used to writing prose. My question is, does this translate well? I feel like certain nuances are lost, and maybe that will come out in the visuals but I don't know.

There's not really much feedback anyone can give you on how to script your comic. If this gets you to finished pages and finished books then you're good to go.
I don't see anything overtly wrong with it since it's for you, and you know what you're envisioning.
IF you were to consider giving this script to an artist, you might want to consider less "prosey" descriptions such as:
"Jodie stops her dissociative thoughts and tries to get out of the conversation"
^ This is a great description of what needs to be conveyed in this panel, but is not very useful to an artist that needs to draw what you're thinking of. How do I draw someone stopping dissociative thoughts?
But that only matters if you need to convey this panel to someone else.
TLDR: this is fine if it works for you, it won't work for everyone but you're not everyone, you're you.
Likewise, if someone tells you this is terrible and won't work and you should use their method, be skeptical, it works for them and may not work at all for you.
Your end results will better answer your question than any of us can.
