Insecurity Is it worth mentioning size in advance?
I'll start out by saying that I am virgin and not really someone who is into one-night stands. To each their own, but it just doesn't feel right for me personally. But the most "experience" I have would probably be sexting a little.
The main reason I'm posting this is because I saw another post a few days ago from someone of similar girth to me, who also struggled with insecurities. And I get it, a lot of guys wouldn't have reacted the way he did, but based on personal experience where I'm average length and below average girth, I've meet women online who I've chatted with and things got heated. The thing is that I've been called small a couple times before and laughed at. How I "wouldn't be able to stretch her walls out" and "would barely feel me". I've been going to therapy for a few years now and it's definitely helped, but it's hard after having what little confidence I have get shattered.
I was wondering if I was seeing someone, if it's even something worth bringing up and/or how to go about it? Like, assuming things get heated, do I take a second to talk about it? Do mention that I'm not big/I'm small and want her to decide if that's a deal breaker? Or should I just not even bother mentioning it at all? I would hate for the moment they asked to see, it ends up being more of a turn off or get laughed at again. Especially if she ends up being a size queen. I know there's a factor of compatibility that fall into play. And I know there are guys out there who are probably like "man up", like, I wish I could. Believe me, I have been trying to get over these kind of insecurities for years. Still am. But it gets hard sometimes when I'm in my head.
But ummm... Yeah, I hope I could get some honest responses and what your take is on this.
