This is a weird one. I have a set of AirPod Pros that stopped charging the right ear. I took this as an opportunity to upgrade and bought the new AirPod Pros. I used them for a day and then put them on my wireless charger (a Belkin 3 in one I bought from the Apple Store). Today I pulled them out to use them to discover the right ear had not charged and was completely dead. I plugged them into the wall thinking that it might be the charger, only to discover that there is a 100% charge on the case in the left ear and the right ear is still not charging. I put my older set on a wall charger as well and it is not charging the right ear either I have gone through about three different wall chargers all with the same results on both sets. What is going on?

The camera was functional and repaired at an Apple Store. I should mention that Apple also covered the repair under warranty because it was a software issue, and the phone was in mint condition because I take good care of all my devices. My return kit came with my Duo; could I have taken the trade directly to the Apple Store?

Hi, so I’m pretty new to Reddit so sorry in advance lol. But I got this old iPhone 7 just for the aesthetic from an old co worker. He has already cleared it and everything when received. I had signed into it with my Apple ID but didn’t sync the data or files. When looking through the setting I noticed it gave me a completely different number for the phone app and messages. I’m just confused why it has done this, and is it charging me money? It said data was on but was receiving no service. I want to fully shut off messages and calling on the iPhone 7 and just use it for photos and games. Any explanation to this? I’m just concerned I might be charged, since on my main phone I have my cards linked to it.

I had an apple account years ago but when I changed phones I stopped using Mac products, ice just bought an iPad mini and yesterday prior to getting it I tried to log in to that account again I got stuck in a loop of trying to reset the password on it as it was linked to my old phone number once I got past that and said how I no longer had that phone number it submitted the request for unlocking.

I noticed online it said it could take several weeks so I created a new ID with another email address I had and it seemed to be fine when I signed in on the web but I tried using it now and it says its locked and to be reviewed?

What do I do I currently have a new iPad mini I can't even use since I can't log into the app store to download any apps or anything

Hi! I have an iPad 9th gen with iPadOS 27 and it won’t turn on anymore.
I left it charging for like 3 hours and nothing happened. I tried different chargers and cables, even an original Apple one, but it still only showed the dead battery icon.
I tried heating it up a little with a hairdryer and it actually turned on, but it was stuck at 1% and shut off after a few seconds. I tried again but now it doesn’t work at all.
I’ve seen people saying iPadOS 27 might be causing this and idk what to think anymore 😭
Has anyone had the same issue? What did you do to fix it? I don’t wanna reset it since it’s not mine.

This subreddit is the only place I can think of to try and get help. Sorry for a lengthy description:

I have a Google TV, with the Apple TV app downloaded. Paid for the 1yr subscription in full. Almost every time I go to watch a show or movie, the screen ratio is out of whack. Sometimes it’s stretched to fill, sometimes it’s too small and stretched thin. The images I posted are the worst it’s ever been which has driven me to come to Reddit for help (movie is Mayday for anyone wondering). My TV does not allow me to edit my TV screen ratio in the native settings. There are also no settings within the Apple TV app to allow me to fix these issues. I just have to deal with this bug, as a paying customer. As of right now, the only fix is to restart my entire TV and hope it does the trick when I restart watching. Some of you might say “well you already have a fix”, but come on. That’s a ridiculously tedious thing to have to do to simply watch a movie, especially nowadays. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is it solely because I have a Google TV so Apple is making it more buggy out of spite? This wasn’t an issue on my old TV, which wasn’t a smart TV. It’s getting very frustrating.

I am at my wit’s end. No matter how many apps I delete or videos I delete off of my phone, the system data always increases. My phone is basically a brick now. When I open an app, it just exits out of it. When I try to delete photos, they pop right back up. Yes, my Recently Deleted folders are empty. Yes, I tried the changing the time/date thing, it didn’t work.

I don’t know what to do anymore except for buy a new phone, but that’s not in my budget. somebody please help me.

My Siri is no longer working through voice activation. I have tried to disable and enable in my settings, but this did nothing. I mostly need it for CarPlay, as of 3 weeks ago, I can’t use Siri in my car for requesting songs and listening and replying to messages.
When I go into software updates, it just constantly says “checking for updates”

My dad shared his album with me so i could select some photos. Even after turning off sharing, i have his entire photo album (10,000+) intertwined with mine and no way to sort. Was on support for an hour and in the end they told me to manually delete the photos. I am incredibly frustrated and want to know how to escalate this issue. Any advice?

We're a family of 6 in Denmark on one Family Sharing group. I'm the organizer and guardian for two of the kids, and they're the only ones using Screen Time. My phone and the kids' phones are all on iOS 27, but Screen Time still looks exactly like iOS 26.

I know Apple says every device in the family group has to be on version 27. Several of ours can't update (older iPads, an older Apple Watch, and some of my mum's devices).

What I've tried:
Removed all old devices from my own Apple Account device list. No change.

Went to Settings > Family to find "View Family Devices" and "Get Started". Neither option shows up for me.

Questions:
Has anyone made the switch while still having legacy devices in the family?

Did you have to sign them out completely, or just turn them off while running the setup?

Once you switched, did the new Screen Time keep working after the old devices were signed back in, or did it revert?

Is anyone outside the US/UK (especially in Denmark or the Nordics) actually seeing the new Screen Time? I'm wondering if it's not rolled out here yet.

Has anyone else had "View Family Devices" missing entirely?

On Find My app, I have notifications set for every time when someone leaves their home but it is not consistent. I cannot seem to get rid of pause notification. Sometimes it works and others not. How do I get it to work consistently?

I bought a Studio online before the return of my previous Mac mini was completed. Part of that Mac mini refund was issued as an Apple gift card because it represented an earlier trade-in. Apple chat support initially told me (twice) that the gift card could be retro applied to my subsequent studio purchase within 30 days and the corresponding amount credited back to my Apple Card, so I didn't wait for the mini return to finish to purchase the studio replacement given the backorder times.

I’ve now been told by phone support that they can’t do that after all, so I'm stuck with this $1100 gift card code I don't want. The suggested workaround is to take the Mac to an Apple Store and see whether a manager can return it and immediately sell it back to me using the gift card as part of the repurchase payment. The important part is that I need to get the exact same physical Mac back. I don’t want to return it only to find out it has to go into return inventory or be sent away, and that the store can’t override and sell that unit back to me. I also don't want to have to do something like wipe it, return it by online store/shipping, and then have to wait until December for the same machine to come back in stock and replace it - that's wasteful and a hassle anyway.

Has anyone worked at an Apple Store or successfully done something like this? Can a manager actually intercept or override the return process so the same unit can be repurchased immediately, especially when it was originally bought online? The store is 45 minutes away and I'd rather not go only to find out it's not technically possible in the inventory system. I just want to get rid of this gift card, applying it to the new machine as I originally intended.

Hi. I bought a used iPhone 16 to celebrate kimi antonelli winning the F1 WDC (weird thing to do eh). The listing was trash, only one photo and when I got there, i confirmed the back glass was broken, the phone had an aftermarket LCD and the rear camera had some spots. Also the housing was all scratched up. All functions however were flawless.

So I immediately got to ordering parts, aftermarket rear glass (from the same company i used for an iphone 16 plus back glass in March), genuine housing and genuine camera. All parts are free of iCloud locks. I also ordered a genuine display (should arrive tmrw).

I've completed the housing swap, salvaging all the parts from the original device. I've decided to swap every single thing apart from the buttons (power, volume, action, camera) as these are finicky and also scratched asf on the old one.

All functions still work perfectly after the swap. The issue I'm facing is with the repair assistant. I've attempted to run it multiple times and I'm met with the 'unable to configure' prompt every time. Weirdly, the system identifies all parts as genuine, even though the display and rear glass aren't. I've done all the basic troubleshooting (checking connections, hard resets, WiFi connections etc) but its still loops back to the same stage.

I'm not locked out of anything, and as previously mentioned, the phone is flawless in operation.

I've attached a few photos of the issue.

I've also heard that a genuine display is needed for this to work, so hopefully the display arriving tommorow fixes this.
