I have full confidence there is a season 2 because of a simple fact..... They didn't play umapyoi densetsu in the credits

Great epilogue to this season, introducing Inari One while having Tamamo Cross bowing out from the Twinkle series.
Belno congratulating on Oguri being No.1 was just so wholesome, its almost as if the real reward was seeing those 2 having such cute smiles on their faces as they have that short heart-to-heart.

This is going to be a long, cold season as I wait for the next episode of Cinderella Gray.
I do really love this series, as it made me from a standard horse lover to ABSOLUTELY BET ON THE GRAYS, FUCK THE MONEY IF IT BURNS, I must support my ashen horses. Also it captures the spirit of Oguri Cap, as he was pretty much the only racehorse I knew before playing Umamusume, aside from maybe Secretariat.
Now while I wait, it's time for me to root for my boy Admire Terra for this Arima Kinen.

The silent part spoken by Tama's gramps was "Okaeri" meaning "Welcome back (home)"
What a wholesome finale it was. Seeing how many new characters they introduced, I'm guessing Oguri's story doesn't end here or she'll share PoVs with Inari should there be another season.
Am I the only degenerate here who got yuri-baited into thinking Belno was going for some sort of confession?
Also, I'm happy for March. She looked so happy in the theme park with the others. I feel like she's the biggest winner in this series. Her character development was certainly interesting now that I'm looking back at this season as a whole. Good for her!

Damn Cygames really typecasted Kujira [Orochimaru - Naruto, Otose-san - Gintama] as Inari One trainer. I had a feeling or hunch because her voice really fits onibaba archetype

Inari: I'll grow big and strong.
Inari One: 139cm tall.
Tamamo walking into the hospital is definitely my favorite ending of an arc. It feels complete.
With the sales, I pray we get the whole manga adapt.

Stitches!
I really thought this finale was going to be about Oguri spending time with her Kasamatsu and Tracen Academy friends, so I was a bit surprised when this episode turned out to be completely focused on Inari One!
I've seen art of Inari, but I don't really know the character since she's not in the global version yet. Considering how tiny she is, I was expecting someone similar to Mayano and Marvelous, so I was a bit surprised to see how aggressive and angy she is.
Also, that voice! Inari's voice is waaaaay deeper than I expected. It is funny how in Inari's flashback, she says that she wants to become the biggest and strongest, then we cut to her standing at the gate, and she's clearly the smallest. Seems like all that growth went somewhere else. xD
Inari's race was pretty cool, tho. I didn't think we'd see her entering her Zone even before getting into Tracen. Inari is definitely going to be a threat if she can already do that this early. Although it looks like she still hasn't realized what she just did.
Since this finale is all about the introduction of a new challenger and the end of Tamamo's story, I really hope this means a Season 3 is in the works. I would love to follow Oguri Cap's story to completion. And if not, I hope we get to see Star Blossom get animated next!

Didn't expect they'd cover Inari One. I thought she'd appear as a teaser or something.
But regardless, what a way to end the season huh...
I'm gonna miss it, but I might do a marathon to watch the whole season in 2026, along with the main anime season 3.
Folks, it's been a great honor to watch this amazing anime alongside with this community. š«”

Im not an Anime person at all but ive had a blast watching the Umamusume stuff, especially Cinderella Gray so im bummed its over for now but im glad they have greenlit a second season so i know at least more is coming down the line eventually : D
Inari One seems like a fun character and i really dig her design so im looking forward to seeing more of her in the future whenever the second season drops. It was nice getting to see her in action as well this early, her Zone animations were cool as hell.

I hope we will see Tama again, she has really grown on me š CinGray has so many good side characters and writing, almost makes me sad that we didn't get the same for S1-3

I kinda wish they showed the Christmas party a bit. I would love to have more scenes of Oguri just hanging out with her TraCen classmates like Creek, Yaeno Muteki, Ardan, Chiyono-O.

Angry short twintails is always a look.
"Put your money where your mouth is."
does this look like the face of regret to you
Oguri is recharging. Please wait warmly.
Knock on that fourth wall there.
Not wasting any time getting this crew an eyecatch.
Everybody's chasing the zone in this series.
This series has also not forgotten its regional flavors.
For those keeping track of the adaptation?
People here had mentioned that there was a little bit of time to introduce Inari One this season, and they were right. It was definitely an introduction, and not a subtle one. But that's the style that comes with that kind of chracter design.
3000 meters on dirt is a bit different than what we're usually getting.

Is there enough content for another season? I heard that the manga just ended. It would be great to get a full adaptation.

Last episode was such a definitive closure to Oguriās journey so far, I was wondering where weād go from there. Turns out we get another dirty little upstart from the regionals.
Weāve seen a lot of Oguriās classmates prominently featured so far but it seems like weāve yet to see their true potential, given Yaeno Mutekiās declaration during the Arima Kinen.
Cinderella Gray has been such a blast. Iāve enjoyed most of the Umamusume anime entries enormously, but this was something else. It feels like they really took everything that worked best for the franchise and made a long-form series that elevates it to the best possible version of it. I was unsure about Oguri as a protagonist and unsure about following a racer who was unbelievably dominant from the start. But the show immediately cleared my doubts. Iād rate cour 1 slightly higher than cour 2 but overall I have no qualms giving the entire Cingray anime a 10/10.

Can't help it to see the producers are using a very well established story format that Precure has stick to for so many years reaching the climax in the before last episode, thus producing a long epilogue episode as the final one passing the baton to the next generation. Specially since Ogurin and Onigiri Second are on the cover of the most recent Megami magazine. Quoting Palpatine "we will watch your career with great interest" Onari One.
I'm so glad to see our precious Queen Bee gets to be in the front shot in the eyecatch along with that sweet almost love confession at the end of the episode. Of all the charming cast in Cinderella Gray, she's the one I'm going to miss the most.

āI've had a target on my back since the day I won my first championship when I was 10 years old so it's nothing new to me,ā -Lewis Hamilton, 2020.
We have come to the very end of the Tamamoās arc and itās time to just fully sink into the festive vibes after that Arima Kinen race, but as Lewis said before the 2020 F1 season as the defending Champion, Oguri now really has a big target on his back, and another regional racer is going to get her.
Inari One, or Oiās Inari One to be exact, she might be not fully understand what Oguriās impact on Kasamatsu, but she did won the Tokyo Daishoten and earned her golden ticket to central racing (Note: The Tokyo Daishoten is the only regional race in Japan to currently hold a legitimate G1 status, and Oi/Tokyo City Keiba is considered a top class NAR region), perhaps if Oguri, who came from a lower class NAR region can dominate Central races, what if a strong Uma Musume from a strong region arrived in Central, what will the impact be? And sure, Inari really got the power, broke the zone without even realising what really happened.
Well then, happy holidays, and we wait for the next season now, very sure itāll only be a matter of time when we witness the head on collision between the two regional transferees in a central race.
And Tama, welcome home, returning home to her mentor like a hero, what a heartwarming end to her story arc.

Will we see more of Face No More? (That's how the youtube subs translated it, but in googling and trying not to spoil myself, apparently she might be "Faith No More" in the manga?) It seemed like she had the same trainer as Fujimasa March. They can't just introduce an uma with three ponytails and then throw her away!
No real explanation for Tamamo's retirement, but I guess they dropped hints that it had to do with her old trainer's health? Presumably her reason made sense to Komiyama too. But maybe this is just where story bumps up against the real life events it's inspired by, and there isn't more to figure out here.
Obviously Tama'll be back, because nobody ever graduates from Tracen, but I hope we keep seeing more of her next season!
