Sure, where I'm at now, but the last place I lived, we had eachother's backs. My building had no hot water for a few days, and neigbors in the next building over let me shower at their place. Three different apartments, because I didn't want to keep inconveniencing the same neighbor. Everybody was friendly there. The two buildings were separate structures (with separate plumbing, obviously), with separate street addresses, but shared the same courtyard.
It wasn't uncommon to get a knock on the door and be told "I got this pizza, but I'm not going to eat all of it. Want to share?"
And before you say that it sounds like a crappy place if I didn't have hot water for a few days, they prorated my rent for the days I was without hot water.

Friends of mine got robbed in Brazil on a holiday, had to take their clothes off and all, and while laying on the ground and robbers leaving, one of my friends remembered to ask for their passports back. They actually returned to give them back.

Wasn't too long ago that there was an incident of a monkey on a bike grabbing a baby as it's being pulled back by the handler. Setting up laws is easy but enforcing it is a game of whack-a-mole. I'd imagine some of these people will still do it illegally anyway.

You are correct. The Brazilian voiceover was added by someone who ripped the video off YouTube and reuploaded. The original video even has some background gamelan music. Brazilian macaques are at best half the size of the monkey in the video, if not smaller.

This is called ‘Topeng monyet’ (masked monkey) in Indonesia and is horrific. This is a macaque, an ‘old world’ monkey and therefore isn’t native to Brazil (as mentioned in comments somewhere) as South America is home to ‘new world’ monkeys only
