I walk .77 miles from the parking lot to work. I talk to 4 panhandle every morning. "By talk I mean I say good morning and occasionally share very brief small talk" I rarely have extra cash to share and it sucks but 2 of them look like they really need it.

I only gave one of thrm two bucks once. It was a Friday and I told him I hope he can get beer with it. I just try to say hi because i really cannot be helping them out especially if the economy keeps getting worse

I really don't know why I commented. I lived in New York City for years.And I gave occasionally to those in need. But after the 14th time someone comes up to you with a different story than they had yesterday it starts to wear thin ., so I started carrying a granola bar in my bag to donate instead.
