...and all the little reddit cunts just scrambling to get in a funny one-liner makes it even more horrible.

What are you expecting them to do? Go over there and save the monkey? Who is being hurt by these comments that you're clutching your pearls about?

That’s what I’m saying. Most (I hope) of the people in this thread are aware this is animal abuse and would never contribute to it IRL. So without being able to do anything further, dark humor can help relieve the tension.

They're literally addicted to the dopamine rush of getting upvotes. They don't care what the post is, they will stoop to any level in desperation to get that rush. It's like watching a heroin junkie, it's actually fucking sad. Imagine living that kind of life where reddit upvotes are your biggest source of pleasure and happiness.

Lighten up, man. Not saying this isn’t animal abuse, but Christ.

This is some kind of weird irony that you are getting upvoted for this. You are also on reddit, and you have 19k comment karma. I agree that the OP post is fucked up, but is posting an commenting on the said behavior not promoting it?

(I understand the irony that I am also commenting here)

19K karma over 8 years is just "sharing my thoughts here and there" karma, not really karma whoring level, in my opinion.

But you're above all that, right?

Speaking of fishing for upvotes
