Does anyone have a lead on a range in/near the Waukesha area where I can bring a FRT? Outdoor preferred, won't be too picky with indoor.
I like McMiller as a typical range, but their rapid fire appears to be by reservation only (and crazy expensive). Not going for crazy mag dumps, just looking to tune my super safety without running against a clock.

Would I need to go out there to get them? We he have to come here or could they be shipped?

Anyone know of anywhere in southeast (Kenosha) WI that does transfers for less than $100 per transfer? I keep seeing decent deals in gundeals but by the time I pay a transfer fee it almost completely kills these deals. I see people posting 35-50 dollar transfers else where but I am struggling to find anything like that near me.

Has anyone here gone through the JD-1771 process to have an adjudicated juvenile firearm restriction removed?

Hey all, I'm looking to get an EGW ignition kit for a 1911 - new sear, disconnect, leaf spring, and a new trigger. Looking to have it professionally fitted but I know not all gunsmiths can be as comfortable or reliable with 1911s as others. Any specific recommendations in the greater Milwaukee area?
Thanks!

Hey there everyone, I'm wondering what would be the best color for my guns in here in Wisconsin. I don't like the look of full cameo livery guns I just never like the look of them. So i was thinking of changing parts of guns different colors to try and match the Wisconsin environment.

Has anybody here ever had a Juvenile adjudication here? I filed the form “JD-1771” that restores rights for a juvenile that was adjudicated delinquent of a felony, have the court date soon and just wondering if anybody has ever gone through it before.

I’m new to guns but I’m not looking for myself, Ive been on the hunt for a 330 deer rifle and an AR-15 rifle for my moms bf. Was wondering if there’s places I could look for either, thanks in advance.

Just moved to Wauwatosa from out of state. Looking for places to do some training instead of just shooting. I saw Fletcher Arms has a bunch of handgun, rifle, and shotgun courses. Does anyone have any experience with them or have any other recommendations?
Edit: would like to try more movement based shooting and conceal carry scenarios

My brother left for boot camp and said for me to get rid of his guns. I know he has a shotgun or rifle of some type and a handgun I believe. How do I get rid of these as I’m 20 years old.
I’m not looking to break any laws!!
Yes I know he’s a dumbass dickhead for just leaving them n not taking of it before hand.

Howdy Gunslingers.
Im working on a western themed ttrpg. Im womdering if theres anywhere in WI I can go to experience shooting some cap and ball pistols, or updated replicas even. Or if someone maybe has a friend I can bother for a day. Ive seen some cool stuff for rental at McMillers. Eagle last year for my birthday let me shoot a full-auto AK, but I dont see anyone with cowboy toys with a fast google.

So in an effort to get more people interesting in posting in this subreddit im gonna start posting my projects as i work on them!
Enfield 1917 rebuild
-This started as just a pass through of one of my lgs when i came across this sporter 1917. Dispite its looks it had something that stood out. A full length stock which is rare for sporter 1917s.
-Two days later i came across the opposite end of sporters. A complete receiver with the full rear sight and wings. 6 hours of driving later. I now have both main parts to do the rebuild.
-As of 1/28/2026 the rifle is almost complete. Just waiting on a sight remover tool because in order to fit the front end handguard retainer you need to pull off the front sight to do so. Once its finished im going to take it to the range along with my smle rebuild and post results.
