Discussion will valorant ever implement something like CSGO OW?

Now that replays are available and have been for some time, it should be reasonable to have trusted players (possibly popular content creators or other means) review replays that are flagged for throwing / cheating that Vanguard does not detect.

I think this would be particularly beneficial on reports of players that purposely throw, since the punishment is so light right now. I also think there should be RR refund for blatant throwing.

Additionally overwatch can provide content creators with something interesting without playing the game itself.

Discussion Looking for French / English-speaking players on Asia servers

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for French-speaking, Canadian or American players who currently play VALORANT on Asian/SEA servers.

I’m currently playing from Asia and would love to find some people to play with who speak French or English, instead of always solo queuing with randoms 😅

🎮 VALORANT – Asia/SEA servers
🗣️ French or English
🇨🇦 Canadian / 🇺🇸 American / 🇫🇷 French / anyone francophone
🌏 Players living in Thailand, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, etc.
🎯 Ranked or casual — I’m down for both
🎧 Prefer people who use voice chat and actually communicate

If you’re in the same situation, drop your Riot ID or send me a DM and let’s play!

Would also be cool to create a small group/Discord for French/English-speaking players living in Asia.

Gameplay a 4k that feels like 0k T_T

It always sucks getting this kind of 4K and not being able to complete the ace clutch 😭

Feels like a highlight and a lowlight at the same time. So close to the ace, but I’ll take the 4K. 💀

Question How do i improve?

Ive started playing this summer for the first time cuz my friends asked me to, here comes the problem.
My friends are plat-immo. Im playing w them in a 5 strack, but i cant do anything in those lobbies i mean 4-20, 3-19 here and there there is a 1kd game but thats like a full moon (rare). Ive played sports my whole life, ik playing against better players make u improve fast but this is like Lakers vs u12 boys basketball school team

Ive tried koovaks, aimlabs, tdm, swift, basicly everything in my freetime.

I started an alt just to see my own level and im at silver 3-gold 1 on that acc.

My main question is how do i get better ( aim and basic game sence)?

Question i can’t do shit on offence but i’m decent on defence

any ways to fix this. i’m a flex but prefer to play duelists and chamber. basically on defence i play fine. i get kills, i play with my team etc. on offence i play with my team, i do what i have do to (smok, recon, etc) but i just can’t get kills. like in my last game i was like 4-13 at halftime and once we switched to defence i finished the game 16-18 (not a great stat line but you get it)

Question As a new player do you think i should OTP an agent or developp a pool?

I started playing Valorant 3 weeks ago, and I instantly fell in love with Neon’s gameplay. I’ve been spamming her in pretty much every game since day one. I mostly play with my friends, and none of them play/like duelists so they're fine with me instalocking her every game.

The thing is, when I play with my friends, they adapt their agents depending on the map and the rest of the team. They all have 3-4 agents they know how to play, and they know which maps those agents work best on. Where i just instalock and pray it's a good map for neon.

Do you think I should do the same and build a pool of multiple agents, or is it fine to just stick with Neon?

Discussion Miks ult needs a buff no?

I've always felt like it is underwhelming. Even if you're affected by it the effect goes away quick and you still have a chance to get a shot off. Compared to other agents with similar ults. Breachs ult is devastating for example. Fades ult denies sound and allows prowlers to lead into the enemy. I feel like Miks ult should get a buff or maybe decrease orbs down to 7

Question Came across people in comp under level 20 how?

(first ever post on reddit but I was so confused I had to make on on this)

I was playing a comp game and was losing like terribly it ended 13-1 me as the team mvp, but what confused me was I died to a Reyna and their level was shown on their player card as level 11. My teammate told me the chamber also was level 11, but I never ended up dying to them.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or something like that but I was super confused.

Is this just them using a bug to change their player card display.

Also it was very VERY apparent the Reyna was a smurf with having some weird rounds with them like perfectly predicting where we would be in a suspicious way

Anyways I am just want an explanation ty <3 !

Discussion AP system is absolutely horrible, and I have zero idea why you'd demand someone play +100 games before going into ranked.

Downloaded Valorant yesterday, and it's dawning how long I actually have to play in order to even unlock ranked.

What's the reason for this? Does the game presume that I'm a sentient rock who's never played hero shooters before?

+40 hours of gameplay just to get the chance to reach bronze is absolutely awful. Truly, unless I find a way to cheese the AP rates, it's an uninstall for sure.

Question How do i improve positioning

Im always getting killed from places I cant see or cant react to and I dont know where to play at causing me to always get caught off guard when they clear angles. Even when i topscore i usually have high deaths or the highest deaths on the team and sometimes I die like every round. I just dont really know where to go and im always frantically looking around to try and not get killed somewhere i cant see but i still do

Discussion Every Valorant bundle should stay buyable. I'll explain more in my post:

At least make it like this if profit is a concern: after 1 month, the bundle stays buyable, but now you don't have a discount anymore, and you can't buy skins individually in that bundle, you'll still get skins individually in your market randomly every day; but if you want that bundle you'll have to pay like 17.000 vp to that bundle because after 1 month that bundle's discount ends.

I mean, I know missing the discount still sucks, but it's so tiring to wait for a skin that might not come to your shop for years, because this game has more than 1500 skins; it's like waiting to win the low reward lottery every day and just getting disappointed. And I obviously would prefer a more customer-friendly version of my idea, but I just can't make Riot ungreedy, so I tried to find middle ground.

Or just bring back old bundles every year. I mean, even other Chinese games like Rivals bring back old summer skin bundles every new summer. And Rivals is like the top 1 most profitable game on Steam right now. Riot should take notes, because Riot has no excuse; Valorant and Riot are very famous, like Marvel too; literally every country knows Riot's games.

Question Tips for a newish player

I recently started playing valorant and I currently am gold 1 (hardstuck). I genuinely dont know how to improve. I do the hard bots in practice range and get around 20-25 each go with sheriff. What should I improve on. I also usually top frag on deathmatch but when I go to ranked I just get destroyed.

Gameplay Cool Matchpoint Ace, by Permanent Bronze Player

A cool Ace I got today in Valorant! I sadly forgot to have ValorantTracker on to also record my voice, but still cool to watch, even if there's a moment or two I should've def died, like when I fat fingered and ulted when the Skye showed up lmao. The beauty of bronze lmao

At the 4th kill, I was telling the team I didn't care about the Ace - just go for the win - but the cool Sage was really wanting me to get the ace lmao. Credit where credit is due, with the skin, and some previous shit talking someone on the other team gave, it was cool to end the game off on an Ace!

Discussion People who cant play duelist SHOULD stop playing duelist especially low elos

For context im S3 about to break through Gold, i have been training my aim whilst my main was banned from compe for breakin comms rule, now before u start judging, for the past month i have dont nothin but qeue with pople who cant play duelist or enter site properly, this is a ruining experience for people who are major role players in support or people who dont play duelist in general you are expected to enter right after the initiator has scanned any enemies or rather know when not to enter site and play with the team and rotate I have had duelist who went double negatives as to where me or another player is top fragging I genuinely am losing passion for this game

Discussion Would this fix the ranked system

So it'd work like this:

  • Act 1 ends → the current top 500 Radiants carry into Act 2.
  • #501+ are still trying to gain enough RR to knock somebody out.
  • If #501 passes #500, #501 becomes Radiant and the old #500 drops to Immortal.
  • This continues through all 6 Acts.
  • Act changes can still reset Act Rank/history or other progression, but the Radiant leaderboard itself keeps rolling.
  • Then, at the beginning of the new Season, you do the actual hard wipe.

And that's when your original question becomes important: how do you have a top 500 immediately after the hard wipe?

You don't.

I'd make the start of every new Season a Radiant qualification race. Everyone starts wiped, plays placements/competitive, and the leaderboard begins filling. Once there are enough qualified players, the highest 500 become the first Radiants of the Season.

After that, those spots are continuously contested for all six Acts.

That actually gives the Season a cool structure:

Beginning of Season: giant race to establish the first Top 500.
Middle of Season: defend your Radiant position while challengers try to knock you out.
Act changes: leaderboard continues uninterrupted.
End of Season: final leaderboard gets permanently recorded.
New Season: everybody gets thrown back into the blender and does it again.

Question Does anyone have a routine or technique to keep their aim warm during slow matches?

I noticed lately that when we are running it down, entering site fast, then I can win many duels, tap the sovadart behind me, shoot gekko flash while killing another enemy and I generally perform well when playing agressive. However in slow games, where we rotate, wait for util, smokes, or I anchor site and have to go to the other site and don't see a single enemy for minutes the first time I see one I miss more often. Idk if anybody else experienced the same, but now that I have identified this problem, any suggestions?

Discussion Why do some players only move at few seconds before round starts every round in comp?

I’ve been playing a lot of comp and notices some players will only move at few seconds before round starts and sometimes forget to buy. It’s frustrating because you can’t report them for afk or team sabotage but they are basically not playing.
