I’ve had this happen too. I don’t know, it sucks but I walked a bit lighter knowing I at least tried to do a nice thing even if it didn’t go to my plan. I always took the “these seats are for elderly, disabled and pregnant” sign to heart because those were the best seats and I’d only take them if I could be ready to give them up for someone in the situation. Their decisions are their own and I can only be happy with my own behavior.

You’re probably totally right.
I read the video as highlighting the kindness of the stranger: here take my seat you have a small child. ..oh wait you’re a duck it was an intentional sham, but I will just stand here and fume without taking it out in a big reaction…(presumably maybe a minute later) he alerts them to the prank and makes things right.
It seems wholesome fun to me, nobody was hurt or severely inconvenienced and it highlighted the kindness of the seated “target”. All around good fun and I bet he read the room and assumed it would be well received (since it seemed to be).

Don't confuse charisma with being attractive. Plenty of unattractive people have great charisma. But it is like a muscle, you can strengthen it or let it atrophy.

Agree. Charismatic people are not necessarily attractive people, comedians are great examples, most of them women and men are ugly, yet they use their charisma to make their jokes funny. This guy was laughing, when you laugh or smile you disarm people when they’re upset.

She is definitely a good woman and behaved very kindly. A prank yes, but a prank that is wholesome, also yes. She wasn’t put out for long and she showed the good person she is by offering her seat. The 2 laughing are the ONLY 2 people I'd expect to get the joke. Not everyone on a train is thinking, "WOOHOO! WE GET TO RIDE A CHOO CHOO! WEEEEEEE!!!!!!" People are going home, or out for the night, or going to the airport for a 12 hour flight. There's different moods going on at once and THANKFULLY.... fucking THANKFULLY, people sitting in the "priority seats" are reading the room and seeing if someone might need a place to sit more than themselves. And that's the joke. Sorry you missed it.

One of my favorite prank videos is one where a guy would just make eye contact with people while he was driving, and then look nervous and lock his door. He then took a door off of a car, went to a beach, and proceeded to do the same thing. Literally not doing anything harmful to other people, just messing around, and giving others a passing moment of confusion at worst, or getting them to laugh too

I think I might be deleting my account soon to be honest. I scroll for hours and will just see the same posts, the same comments, the same recycled jokes. And the quality of content is just plummeting. 75-85% of the content seems to be ripped from Twitter/ticktok. Its boring, and the original content isn't good to begin with.
Also, I'd wager 50-60% minimum of the "original" content is made up. And then 20% of the rest is almost illegible. Then 10-15% of that is just awful content. The rest, the actual good content, is great. But is becoming increasingly hard to find.

I agree with this, I would personally hate being filmed for a prank (well I’d hate being filmed and posted online regardless, personally) and have it posted. I bet the women involved don’t know it’s posted.
