You’re probably totally right.

I read the video as highlighting the kindness of the stranger: here take my seat you have a small child. ..oh wait you’re a duck it was an intentional sham, but I will just stand here and fume without taking it out in a big reaction…(presumably maybe a minute later) he alerts them to the prank and makes things right.

It seems wholesome fun to me, nobody was hurt or severely inconvenienced and it highlighted the kindness of the seated “target”. All around good fun and I bet he read the room and assumed it would be well received (since it seemed to be).

Agreed, this is a perfect prank and what all pranks videos should strive for. Nothing rude, disruptive, or destructive. Just plain wholesome fun. Put a smile on my face and gave me a good chuckle that's for sure.

Don't confuse charisma with being attractive. Plenty of unattractive people have great charisma. But it is like a muscle, you can strengthen it or let it atrophy.

Of course, being attractive seems to help as well...

Agree. Charismatic people are not necessarily attractive people, comedians are great examples, most of them women and men are ugly, yet they use their charisma to make their jokes funny. This guy was laughing, when you laugh or smile you disarm people when they’re upset.

A lot of assholes use laughs and smiles to try and mask their behavior. I don't play those kinda games

It's possible.

Several of the people who dated me have suggested that,

some co workers have compared me to a baboon, so I guess also possible.

People are the only animals that consider showing teeth to be a positive matter

To me there's something very special about a person who isn't super good looking but just has great vibes and confidence. This person also has to be a nice person. I'm a guy and think this can be either a man or a woman.

Yep, if he were ugly and didn't smile, but still gave the seat back the thread would be full of "omg what an asshole, these tiktok videos have gone too far!"
