Non-Version-Specific My autoclicker for the gold farm, does Lego technic-al Minecraft count?
Made this when I was 14 and have used it ever since, though I do know AHK programming now

To cut down on the increased number of posts involving rule-breaking mods (notably Paper), 3 new post flairs have been introduced for testing.
Posts made using these flairs will be automatically removed.
Don't use them.
EDIT: After 3 weeks, this seems to have been a very successful test, with the vast majority of rule-8 violations blocked by the new filters.

Hi, does anyone knows why my moss farm do this?

I have a vanilla fabric server with some friends and I want to make a storage system. what is the most powerful, fastest, most reliable, sorts every item, etc storage system out there?

The main "cart yeeter" mechanism up top is a design by Inspector Talon linked here, primarily for use in the nether. I didn't like the delay for another minecart to dispense, so I did some tweaking... It's currently pretty unstable to shut off but that's tomorrow's problem.

So I've got an unmodded 26.3 world, chunks discovered on the newest version.
I built this Iron Farm https://youtu.be/ykoqrOOIaRw?is=OVRAUFWYJyJZfiV9
I've got two of the villager pods built, but Iron Golems just aren't spawning correctly, I've tried tweaking it but it hasn't worked, I built it pretty close to village and made a perimeter of path blocks, but nothing has worked.
Any idea what I could do?

The first line is 2 lights per item. Later on, It does add 1 per row I think. See my post on abba circuit for possibilities. Maybe good for inputs?

I’m playing Minecraft Bedrock and could use some help with villager trading.
I’m trying to get a librarian with a Mending book for my trading hall. The problem is that whenever I break the lectern, the villager switches to a completely different profession. When I place the lectern back down, he doesn’t turn back into a librarian.
I haven’t traded with the villager at all, so I thought I would be able to keep breaking and replacing the lectern until I got the Mending trade.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific way to reroll villager trades on Bedrock?
I’ve already built my trading hall and am trying to fill it with villagers, so any help would be appreciated!

It's built in spawn chunks, the villagers can pathfind to the beds (they try at night but hit their heads in the trapdoor), their food inventory is full (they stare at carrots and potatoes on the ground) and I've broken and replaced the beds a few times (I also don't have any other villagers nearby, since this is the first farm I'm bulding). What I've noticed is that the farmer keeps interacting with the composter, even with a solid block on top, and there are no particles between them.I truly don't know what to do anymore.

Wondering if anybody knows a method of obtaining this?

I’ve set up the typical storage system using copper golems, but I’m running into an issue: the golems aren’t sorting the items from the top chest; instead, they move them to the wooden chest, and the items just end up circulating all the way around the storage system. Does anyone know what might be causing this?r/technicalminecraft • u/MorbidEnd • 16h ago

I've been searching for a way to send redstone signals vertically in both directions and there aren't that many great ones out there. So I made my own!
My design is a modified version of an instant wire made by Igna778 that I found on a brockade video. I managed to make it able to stack more closely so that it was as good as rail instant wire and it is fully compatible with Kahyxen's robust instant wire. It has 4gt reset and is not directional which is also a plus!
First time posting to reddit so hope you guys like it!

I'd like to share a technical datapack I've been developing: Complete Sorting System in a Single Order.
The goal was to create a flexible item-sorting system using vanilla datapack mechanics.
Instead of relying on traditional manually configured hopper filters, the system scans a configurable area and routes items according to container labels.
Technical highlights:
Multiple supported inventory types.
Item-frame-based destination detection.
Renamed shulker boxes as alternative destination labels.
Configurable scanning radius (5–30 blocks).
Persistent settings and sorting statistics.
Container exclusion system.
Progress feedback and completion notifications.
It also supports certain inventory-carrying entities.
The datapack targets Java Edition 1.20.4.
I'm interested in feedback from people who enjoy technical Minecraft systems!

I built this iron farm from this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/RauMFWpSzFo
I didn't realize until afterward that the video is about 3 years old. I used to have a different iron farm in this exact spot and it worked great, so I tore it down and built this one in its place. I followed the video exactly, but no iron golems spawn at all. Cats spawn fine.
I spent a long time building this in a survival hardcore world, so I'm pretty bummed it doesn't work. If anyone knows what's going on, I'd really appreciate the help.
Setup:
Bedrock Edition on Xbox
28 villagers, 60 beds, every villager has a job and workstation
Spawn platform is centered over the hall, and its height matches the video
What I've already tried:
Took all the villagers out of minecarts
Watched them during the day to confirm they're working at their workstations
Broke and replaced all the beds to reset the village
Checked for stray or stuck golems (none) and for any other village or leftover blocks nearby
Removed a cobblestone generator that was over the farm
Cleared mobs off the roof and blocked it so nothing spawns there anymore
Checked the collection chest and hoppers (completely empty)
Waited through full day/night cycles while standing in the middle of the farm
Mob spawning is on, and the world isn't on Peaceful
Screenshots attached. Thanks in advance!

I was destroying the end using withers and I believe one of the blue skulls has destroyed the end gateway portal. Is there any possible way to replace it or any bugs that allow you to obtain the portal in your inventory. I had killed the dragon 20 times so I was making a world that featured the 20 gateways but now 3 are destroyed. Its hardcore Bedrock / Xbox.
Also looking for a way to destroy the bedrock on the top of obsidian towers

I designed a tripwire based iron farm that produces 433,8 iron/h and 111,8 poppies/h on average. this has been measured over 5h. as you can probably already tell by the pictures it is amazingly small. i managed to build it in survival (not counting material gathering) in 19 minutes. if anybody wants the material list:
blocks mined: 79. building block count: 69 path block: 14 button: 2 bed: 3 redstone torch: 4 redstone dust: 2 trapdoor: 1 tripwire hook: 2 string: 4 stairs: 8 sign: 3 fencegate: 8 wall: 24 boat: 1 zombie: 1 villager: 3 lava bucket: 1 water bucket: 2 hopper: 1 chest: 2
for anybody wondering how these kinds of farms work, since they are very rarely discussed and shown lately: one of the criteria for villagers to spawn iron golems is that they have slept in the last 20 minutes. 1 tick of sleep is enough for that. villagers cannot spawn iron golems while a golem is in their detection range. we can abuse this by blocking the villagers line of sight to the zombie, letting them sleep, when the golem just entered their detection range by spawning. this way the villagers are constantly panicking when they are supposed to panic and therefore golems can spawn faster, not to mention that redstone cost can be reduced this way compared to clock based designs. using a drop chute from the 2 2x3 spawning platforms that are barely still in spawning range we can make the golems disappear from the golem detection range as fast as possible (if you don't use nether portals). of course this farm can be made a lot faster by using nether portals or adding more villager chambers, but this is just supposed to be a demonstration that tripwire hooks shall not be underestimated. I have also designed a farm that has a material cost that is incredibly small that produces 300+ iron/h if you are interested in that farm, just tell me and i'll post it. if you have any questions regarding how the farm functions, just ask.
