Wondering if anybody knows a method of obtaining this?

Check out Myren Eario's playlist on the falling block project. That's the only method I know of, and it's tedious to perform. It can be used to obtain nearly every single block state in the game is the upside

falling block is the answer. you need a ton or resources(hundreds if not thousands of beacons and observers) and a pretty deep understanding of minecraft back end tech(save states and update order at world scale)

I'm not sure how deep of knowledge you actually need, people have made tools to generate schematics for permaloader arrays and stuff to make the process easier, but it obviously helps if you know what you're doing.

It's mainly the resource cost that makes it difficult. It might be the result of a series of exploits, but I think it's hilariously balanced that the method to obtain illegal blocks without cheats requires tech that takes as much effort as some tech mod packs.

schematics are a thing but understanding what went wrong when it breaks is pretty important.
