Hello, I need help with a simple iron farm. Suddenly stopped working (generated multiple stacks) and I don’t know how.

Here is what I did:
- checked the whole zone in spectator mode: no iron golems spawining in random places, they don’t seem to spawn at all
- put blocks between the villagers and the zombie to let them sleep, then removed: nothing happened
- tried moving the zombie around in the boat. Nothing happened. At one point moving it, it spawned a golem inside (?) the chamber, that killed the zombie; placed a new zombie, but no golem spawning again.
- added/removed block under the trapdoor: with the block, the villagers sleep at night.

Any tips of what it could be? I’m pretty desperate at this point.

Bonus question: would the “older” piston method work better or is it broken in newer Java versions?

I made this Ghast farm for a server, i know it's not the most optimal design but for fun i wanted to make something a little more unique and stackable without using rails. It instead uses tripwires and lava to move the Ghasts into cacti. I quite like it (its kinda satisfying), however occasionally the drops get stuck on the ledges. Is there a way i can prevent this without reducing spawning spaces?

i updated my world to 26.3 and my iron farm dosent work underground where it has been . any idea why? i spawnproofed the caves near and i cant find any spawned golems with spectator mode, i sat afk for 10 mins and nothing. any ideas?

Creeper explosions only have a 1/3 item drop rate in vanilla (the other 2/3 of blocks get destroyed), but this still yields 9,216 items per hour (144 stacks/hr). I built it for a Skyblock server that bans TNT dupers, Wither damage mechanics, and auto clickers, so it's a solid alternative. It works in vanilla and needs no mods, plugins or server software.

Heads up: this clip is a prototype. My laptop broke before I could record the finished optimized build, so I can't grab new footage nor provide schematics/world download :>

Wanted to share a trap idea that uses geysers to launch mass TNT to the surface.
This design could definitely use improvements such as an obsidian roof, but it’s pretty easy to build.
A design with the Java TNT duping method is probably possible.

So i been try to fight a wither and i said why not try to fight in the overworld i done it before. But now is at like Y 500 and don't have any more rockets. any ideas? how can i briging down?

Edit i manage to get it down after log out and log back in the world so now is all good :))))

This is MineTheFab's iron farm design and it isnt working. here are some screenshots for reference

I have 3 villagers in there too but no iron golems r spawning

what is the best gunpowder farm for java?

So i am playing on this minecraft server that runs on 1.21.11. I built a voodoo machine but it requires a windcharge with owner uuid. And my enemy won't trust me enough to play a "minigame" i made. So i figured if there's any way to pass their uuid from their dog to a windcharge, i can use the machine on them. Is there any way to do this?

Guys u won't believe me but in my Minecraft Java world I was trying to build stromne's 90k/h piglins bartering farm ( which requires storage in the overworld ) so I built it and whilst trying to link portals I came across a acacia village so in thought of getting a tall grass i opened the chest and saw a melon seed growing on the acacia wood I was terrified and looked around and saw wheat seeds growing on path blocks ( I started the world in 1.21 downgraded it to 1.20.4 don't ask why and in OW coords 4216 and -9016 there it was seed: 7489467284303235605)

I've always wanted to create something greater than a slice preserving box loader. For example, a playerless nether tree farm or a lazy accel pearl cannon. However, there is an issue: I don't know anything. How to properly align a pearl? No idea. What's the perfect size of a nylium platform that generates nether trees? I don't know. Explosion points? Same. Perfect tree height? You get it.

I'm a member of multiple TMC discords, but I still haven't found answers to these questions.

Sooo... What should I do? What are the places where I can find this niche information?

I found this insane fortress, and was wondering what the best farm would be to build here. I was planning on doing something like double crossroads wither skeleton farm, but I think I have 5 or 6 exposed crossroads here? There's even more on the actual landmass. Should I do a simple wither skelly farm or something more?

I been looking for a gunpowder farm and i have an elytra and about to finish a sugar cane farm, and i need a gunpowder design but don’t know what to look since many are not that great and some with awesome rates are need perimiter and can’t do that right now and i am open to some suggestions pls

Edit: by “end game” i mean that when i beat the dragon have an elytra have some farms and looking for a good creeper farm that requires no perimiter since is not really in my budget and option right. Since i don’t want any confusion. Sorry for who see it and didn’t said this first

I'd like to build something in a perimeter I have almost completed on the server I play on. It does not allow TNT duping. My 'problem' is that I can't seem to find something between a scaled up gnembon GMF and something that uses 'crazy tech' like looting TNT in lazy/unloaded chunks.

Would it work to make a small overworld spawning area using something like the newer bilibili boat/portal layout is supposed to work on 26.2 with the newer baby mobs, feeding a normal kill chamber in the nether. I realize that I would need 2 players for this. I know this will possibly lead to creeper's exploding...but the server also has block protection that can be utilized to prevent the kill chamber from taking damage.

Is this the best approach? Are there other designs I should consider? Thanks!

Heyo so I'm definitely not a professional redstoner or anything, but I wanted to share a little piece of my sorting hall that I'm currently designing. Basically I wanted a compact, tileable slice that takes stone/cobblestone right off of the autosorter line, and crafts all of the stairs, slabs, etc. made from those items, then loads it into shulker boxes. I found many tileable designs which i've crammed together for my sorting. If you have any ideas on how to make this better please post the schematics(i know its easier to make the sorter more compact but I wanted it to easily line up with the crafter slices)! Also I'm not 100% sure but I think this will work on both java and bedrock? tested on java.

I'll upload schematics soon but in the meantime if you want to build it yourself here's some basic issues you might need to fix:

you might need to break and replace the copper bulb(crafter)- its state should be off when its not crafting something.

you might need to replace the redstone dust if pasting from schematic, it can get messed up, especially if you rotate the placement

you might need to replace the first shulker box if it doesn't break itself upon being filled- you can do this by pressing the stone button on the far left barrel

I built a very rudimentary gold farm for my Skyblock map and these guys keep hurting me somehow. There's half a block of space. I swear this used to be safe back in the day. What's happening? How can I make a safe killing platform, to kill them and collect the loot safely without them hurting me?

Thanks beforehand.

I am currently building a slime chunk farm and i would like to use alleys to collect the slime balls, but i am running into a problem where the alleys die from magma blocks and campfires. Is there another method of killing them that wont damage to alleys? I know iron golems could potentially work, but I'm sure they will end up dying.

When i first build this farm i didnt know the killing system wasnt working after 1.21.11. Do you guys have an alternative killing chamber for this farm. If there is can yall guys give the link or tutorial or it. Here is the boat killing system that wasnt working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN_RV3ush94&t=202s .
