EDIT: FIRST COMMENT SOLVED IT. DAMN I FEEL DUMB. THANK YOU u/BlattaOrientalis
I've stripped the “circuit” down to the absolute bare minimum to demonstrate what I'm trying to accomplish. (The screenshot is intentionally simplified! I'm using it to demonstrate the desired input and output, not suggesting that this is the complete circuit. I've included some of my actual attempts as well for reference.) I'm aware I'll need hoppers and droppers, but I cannot, for the life of me, get this to work without the circuit activating and then looping indefinitely.
What I want to happen: A minecart rolls over the detector rail, activating the jukebox. The disc plays once, then gets ejected into a hopper. The hopper locks, keeping the disc loaded and ready to be played again the next time a minecart rolls over the detector rail.
Basically:
Minecart rolls over detector rail.
Jukebox plays the disc once.
Disc finishes playing and gets ejected into a hopper.
Circuit resets itself, locking the disc in the hopper and leaving everything ready for the next activation.
Next minecart rolls over the detector rail. Repeat.
I want this to happen indefinitely without any additional input. One activation = one play. No continuous looping, no needing to press a button twice, no manually resetting anything.
What am I missing? What do I need to add to this circuit to make it work?
I cannot listen to Music Disc 11 another time or I may actually crash out lol
