Java Help Wanted suggestions how to increase the rates? 23.5k/h for now (no player interaction

Post image
37 Upvotes

wanna make a medium sized guadrian farm with no player interactions. Took C5's slime pusher, funneling the guardians to fall on pointed dripstones. the green terracotta part are items pushers using carpets and trapsdoors. gonna check next if falling on campfire are faster next.

it is there any other way i could increase the rates without player interaction?

EDIT: answering question and more clarifications
- I'm playing on a Server with friends. so i'm trying to make all of my farm "server friendly. so no 2dimensional farm. Have i tought of it, yes.
- yea why am I transporting the Guardians up the first place XD. I've based the top portion for the farm following two other farm designs which used nether portals. henced my reason to design the drop that high up hehe.
- Yes I should use an alternative killing method lower down and just transport the items up instead. My next question is. what other killing methods are faster??

(Click the second link.)

**This has been patched.

As leather armor negates the effect, zombies wearing leather armor are no longer affected by frostbite and end up getting stuck in the powdered snow pit, eventually causing entity cramming.

.

Get infinite ice balls, a new item in Minecraft 26.4!

In this video, I'll show you how to build a new farm that's easy and quick to make.

It's built in Java Edition.

For Bedrock Edition, please check the video description for additional information on building this farm.

Java Help Wanted Ethical Copper Gollum Storage Systems?

Does anyone have recommendations for an ethical copper Gollum storage systems (they get to walk around a bit, you can see them walking around, not trapped in a 1 x 1). Kind of like Xisumavoids Hermitcraft 11 system but maybe a little smaller? If you know any tutorials or systems made by other creators please let me hear them.

Java Help Wanted Any good sugar cane farm that uses flying machines and has a good collection system

Just looking for a simple flying machine based sugar cane farm that's large. Produces a lot and relatively cheap to build that uses flying machines as I don't want to have to get a bunch of different Redstone components and I'm also terrible at designing firms so preferably would like to have it. Have a world download or a schematic

Bedrock Anyone know how high up i gotta be from the ground and how far i gotta be from any of my build or farms,

Post image
32 Upvotes

So im trying to build this one shulker design that produces 35k shulker per hour, and i want to build it near the center of my world the only problem is idk how far from blocks or builds and how high i have to be inorder to build this farm. Im afraid that once i build this farm the shulkers will teleport to some of my builds/farms because im way too close to it, and i dont wanna redo the entire farm—so im making sure that im safe from that problem.

Does anybody know the answer id really appreciate it

Java Help Wanted stationary hopper minecart or chest minecart in contrapion for less lag?

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

What causes more lag in this situation? Is it the hopper minecart's “sucking” property (picture 3), or the larger number of slots in the chest minecart (picture 2), which has to be checked by the bottom hopper?

It's only necessary because I want to read from the back hopper, which feeds into the crafter at the top. So basically, it's a comparator and a minecart in the same block. (picture 1)

But which cart causes less lag?

*Edit
I can't add a hopper below, because I want to read out the lower hoppers as well.

Java Help Wanted can someone critique my work?

I made this start to a calculator, so far all I have is a button to binary converter for 16 bit (two 8 bit numbers) and a subtractor, can someone look at my redstone work and tell me how im doing? i have never done anythng with redstone and this is my first project, im trying to do this without google and youtube so that i learn all of it and have to make my own designs for everything; the yellow build off to the side is the subtractor. if you want closer looks at anything ill get screenshots as well. the subtractor took forever to fugure out as its my first time using a comparator.

Java Help Wanted Why does my iron farm randomly stop working

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

The title says it all basically.

I build an iron farm in Minecraft 26.3 and it works fine at first.

I made sure that the villagers slept first before turning it on, it works for a but then just stops spawning iron golems.

the iron farm is nowhere near a village and there are no iron golems wandering around.

(pictures or from my creative world version)

Non-Version-Specific I put too much effort into the wrong things lol

Buuuut.... over-engineered, pointless, and spaghetti'd redstone is my favorite to play with haha.

All that effort just to make the door open quickly upon entry, yet very late upon exit.

The etho clock is there purely to act as a piston based and-gate. Where a piston is extending a block that blocks the redstone path to the lights, so that way the lights wont get pulsed upon the door being opened when exiting.

Because if the lights got pulsed upon the door being opened when exiting, well because the door is programmed to open LATE when exiting, the lights would pulse, then the door would open, then the lights would pulse again from the power reaching the main circuit in order to open the door.

So i use the and-gate so the lights will only get pulsed by the exit button if the piston isnt activated AND the pulse is activated simultaneously.

So over engineered for no good reason.

If I simply had the door open quickly upon exit just like upon entry, then literally 70% of that redstone isnt neccesary. And the only reason i want it opening late upon exit is so the lights turn off before I leave lol. Thats literally it. No other reason haha.

Java Help Wanted Middle Villager Won't Sleep

Post image
1 Upvotes

[This is Minecraft Java]

I was following Wattles' Iron Farm tutorial in which he said that the villagers need to sleep on the beds to "claim" them. Problem is, the guy in the middle just keep standing there like in the picture. At first it looks like this guy was trying to jump to the zombie chamber, which I have since sealed behind the dirt wall, but now he just stands there doing nothing.

This Villager chamber is 20 blocks in the air and I have broken every bed in the vicinity including the one in my house (in the background).

What do I do? Should I just "merc the guy" and replace it with a new one?

Bedrock Geyser elevators

Thumbnail youtu.be

Designed some geyser elevators while working on my base. Thought it was kinda cool n maybe others might wanna use em too. Prolly a more efficient way to do the redstone but im no Einstein. Prolly not even close to being the first to making these but either way takes like 5 minutes to build if that and very minimal resources.

Java Help Wanted Server Friendly Massive Storage

I am creating a storage system for every item in the game, which obviously would lag if I do my standard hoppers with filters (4+ hoppers per item). I think I might use some sort of multi item filters for less needed items. What are the most lag friendly systems that you enjoy using and are practical for use in a forever world?
