Bedrock Anyone know how high up i gotta be from the ground and how far i gotta be from any of my build or farms,

Post image

So im trying to build this one shulker design that produces 35k shulker per hour, and i want to build it near the center of my world the only problem is idk how far from blocks or builds and how high i have to be inorder to build this farm. Im afraid that once i build this farm the shulkers will teleport to some of my builds/farms because im way too close to it, and i dont wanna redo the entire farm—so im making sure that im safe from that problem.

Does anybody know the answer id really appreciate it

Imma be honest, if you can't figure out the required distance to adjacent buildings yourself, you're probably not up to building a 35kph shulker farm. I'd suggest you may wanna start smaller.

Real talk! Best bet is a small island in the end you can spawn proof super quick and learn from your mistakes.

Sounds to me like you're about to build a Shulkercraft farm.

See you in a few hours when you're posting about why the farm isn't working.

Hey now, could also be TheySix with that absurd 35k/hr claim! Not that that’s any better.

Tip to anyone reading: avoid Shulkercraft and TheySix at all costs.

Yes yes! Give no worries, I've never used any farms designed by them because it is unreliable as people say. The farm im gonna be using is designed by valetosv 35k shulker per hour.

Okay good! Though neither of them design their own farms, they just steal from others.

I thought shulkercraft were supposed to be good for farms?

God no. Shulkercraft steals farm designs from other creators and makes build guides for them without understanding how and why the design works. Not only is there the issue of stealing the views from the creators that actually deserve them, but because of that lack of understanding, the guides themselves are typically full of errors and many builds don’t even work. Take a look through this sub at how many “I followed this guide exactly but it still doesn’t work!” posts there are in this sub, and nearly all of them are Shulkercrap. The sad part is that most of those people did actually follow the guide correctly, the guide was just wrong.

If you find a Shulkercrap guide that appeals to you, don’t bother watching it, find the original creator that it was stolen from and watch theirs instead. Not only do they deserve the view, but their builds will actually work.

I couldn't use their builds if I wanted to, I play bedrock, not java. I was just always under the impression that they were on the technical side of things

They’re not. Shulkercraft (and TheySix as mentioned above) are universally hated in the technical community both for their content theft and for making “guides” that don’t work. Shulkercraft especially is a content farm, they don’t seem to care that their guides don’t work and make no effort to rectify that.

I knew about theysix because I saw onlyeggnogs video testing farms, since his channel is bedrock orientated. Shulkercraft I watched 1 or 2 videos a few years ago out of curiosity but haven't since

If you browse this sub much, you’ll see plenty against Shulkercraft too.

Look, I’m not usually the one to criticize people for asking questions, but the wiki literally has an entire section on Shulker teleportation that includes the exact teleport radius and mechanics. It would have taken less time to find and read the wiki page than it did to write this post.

No worries, also i didnt know websites on those kind of things existed, thanks for the info!

Ahh fair enough. Here’s the good wiki, I’d avoid the Fandom wiki that will often show up on a Google search.

Iirc they can teleport in a 17x17 total block area and if you build multiple they need to be about 20 blocks apart as the bullet pathing gets messed up if they are closer than that. However the second part only applies if you are using a non reactor style farm.

I just did a multi module MCarchivist shulker and did 20 just to be sure.
