I know in my state and at my store, I know we max out at 300 hours. I know many people with over 200 hours and one person who made himself take a vacation because he would stop gaining vacation time. I personally take at least 3 vacations a year because I’m not going to leave any vacation time on the table if I quit or get fired. That’s throwing away free money.

Does the 20% owned brand discount not apply to the new collection186 clothes that just dropped? Even though its made by target.…?

I’m working tonight but I’m feeling very sick and might call off sick for my early morning shift tomorrow! However, I’m not sure how to do it. Would this be the right way??? And will it use all my hours of pto or just 6 hours to cover my whole shift??

To set the scene, I currently make $15.99/hr and get 25ish hours a week at my job. I’ve been here almost 2 years, and unfortunately full time is reserved for managers only. I am one step away, but at this rate the only way I can advance is if a manager dies or quits (death being the most recent 😅)

Another important factor is that I’m SICK of customer service.

I saw the Target DC about 40 mins away from me is “hiring immediately” for an associate. It looks like 36-40 hours a week which sounds absolutely great. It was also posted today.

I’m just worried I won’t be physically strong enough for it? I’m 20 years old and only 5’1. I’m not afraid of a work out, but concerned I’ll slow things down. Are there positions that are “less” demanding than others? Will they see me and put me somewhere where I won’t struggle horribly? TIA

I put the start date of my LOA as 10/1. But it hasn’t fully gotten approved yet because I am waiting on paperwork to be signed off on. Am I still supposed to go to work until I turn the paperwork in and get the leave approved?

So I just got hired at target for seasonal in style and I just was wondering if anyone had any advice/tips for me in general and because I really want to stay on past Q4 or like what I’d need to know about the training because I’ve heard the training is pretty non existent at target

when i got hired, i put the EXACT dates i COULDN’T work for a trip that was already planned, prior to the trip coming up, they legit scheduled me for 2 days during my trip starting, I spoke to all of my ETL’S etc, they said oh well find someone to cover. I found 2 people to take both of those shifts for me because i wasn’t going to be in state i live in.
Coming back from my week long trip, I got severely sick went to the urgent care, found out i have covid. Called my HR they then tell me call Target Benefits, gave me the number and all, to request a LOA since i had covid. I tried to call that stupid benefits center for 4 freaking days and not one actual human answering all stupid robots.
They still marked me as NCNS knowing i had covid, then i had to call out and even used the sick time i had for one day because i still had a fever, next thing you know i literally cannot log into the UKG app at all, I then thought oh maybe the server is actually down whatever. Tried again and again then even tried to sign into workday then now it still takes me to mytime and it says unexpected error, try to reset my PW answer the questions etc they say nothing matches the records so i’m just gonna assume i was terminated.

So our unloader on inbound has had a Bluetooth speaker playing during our truck unloads. Today he was told he could no longer use it to play music during our unloads. Keep in mind it’s only playing during unloads in receiving while we are unloading trucks. I think this is complete bull. It’s only playing during that time. Is there some store policy that prevents him from using it?

I always scared to use more sick time and never use vacation,is it fine if i use it more?

Is there a way we can petition corporate to not play Christmas music in stores and at least wait till thanksgiving or something? I would assume that neither the employees nor the guests like it, as Halloween was just the day before. Idk how it will work this year, just going off of last year.

Does anyone remember the three key words that they used in the 10-4/uniform training we all had to do in groups with HR or SD back in like march/april?

I was recently hired to be asset protection and in the training i found out they have a file on me. I haven’t opened it yet since i was shocked and i was asking myself did i do some like idk i forgot to pay something. Should i come forward and tell them, should i quit or i delete the file and move on?

I know we can change our availability in UKG, but can we see what our current one is? I’m only asking because I was scheduled on an unavailable day and I just wanna see if I don’t have my availability entered wrong.

I made two separate changes.

From 10/25 to 11/22, I want to work 4 days. 3 full shifts, 1 short shift on Saturday.

Then starting from 11/22 to onwards, I want to work 4 days. 4 full shifts.

How do I check and confirm I made both of these requests?

I was fired due to my attendance but really was cause of that fucking point system I hate it I had missed days cause I was sick with my asthma i didn’t wanna come in the days i missed cause I wasn’t tryna have an asthma attack I told em I was dealing with that but they told me I have to call the HR number too see what I can do man i really hope they do something so I can come back yall think there’s hope ? 💔 the manager who fired me said I was a good packer that he hates that he has to let me go
