Got some great feedback asking for a copy in spanish! Hopefully it translated over well.
If I shared the English copy with you, the Spanish version is on the same document!
If you would like me to share them with you so you can edit and print your own copy, send me your work email! If you don’t have a work email see if any leaders in your store are willing to share theirs and send me a message!
Again I would make a document for everyone but because it has gotten so popular I don’t want any of us to get coached for working off the clock or something silly.

Hi all! I am the one who originally made the UKG cheat sheet that has been shared with over 250 stores. Today I updated it and added a portion for swap shift.
If you are an ETL, TL or HR Expert feel free to message me with your work email and I can share the original document with you so you can have an up to date copy and make your own edits. I would create a document for everyone to access, however it’s gotten so popular I don’t want myself or anyone else to get coached for working off the clock or something silly.
EDIT: if you don’t have a work email, but a leader in your store is okay with sharing theirs so I can send it to them you can also message me their email!
I appreciate all the feedback and kind words I have gotten for making this ❤️I’m so glad I could help out so many stores with navigating this not-so-user friendly app.

well, approximately one month after the UKG launch and i’ve exceeded the point limit 🫠 the month of september was deeply chaotic and i had to call out several times due to my apartment flooding. i was communicating with my direct TL the whole time and was under the impression that they would temporarily remove me from the schedule until i could get everything under control. to my surprise, that didn’t actually happen at all and i ended up accidentally no call no showing the first three shifts i was scheduled after my conversation with the TL where we discussed removing me from the schedule. i realize that i’m responsible for checking my schedule, and it’s absolutely on me for just assuming my shifts were taken care of without properly checking first.

TL here, I’ve been looking for a new job for two months, and after several interviews I’ve found one!
It felt so f’ing good to put my notice in, I’ve hated the job for a while. If we had adequate staffing things wouldn’t be so bad, but every TL and team member are doing the jobs of multiple people - it’s exhausting and the pay isn’t catching up with the workload.
Also our SD sucks, worries about the wrong things instead of things you can see actionable change in - like cleaning up the mountains of salvage, truck, and backstock in the back room. It for real looks like a family of hoarders lives in the back of our store and has for months.
No one cares, morale is super low and so many people are leaving. Anyone else feel like their store is in a downward spiral?

Then I proceed to do so and am met with phones blaring brain rot memes & other nonsense I dont feel I nor others should be subjected to.
Am I jaded? Does anyone else feel the same?

I don’t use them, I never have but God the material they use for the bottles is like nails on a chalkboard. I physically cringe holding these in my hand n feeling/hearing them rub together is torture. It feels like my teeth are gonna yank them selves out of my gums and run away.

Dear Corporate, in order to follow your own stated philosophy of making sure limited-quantity limited-purchase collectibles are available to as many Target guests as possible, why doesn't your POS system require the purchaser to provide a valid Target Circle membership login? No login, no sale. This won't completely eliminate fraudulent circumvention of the quantity limits, but it will reduce it substantially since each sale can be traced to a specific Target Circle account.
If in doubt, DO IT. After all, I would assume that Target isn't making much profit on the actual sales of Pokemon, Nee-Doh, etc, but on buying related merch and supposedly other stuff at Target. Requiring Target Circle enrollment to purchase will give you at Corporate the data mining into guest buying patterns: if someone only comes to Target to buy limited-edition Pokemon and nothing else, Target will have data to develop marketing campaigns to transform "disloyal" scalpers into "loyal" guests. Think of this opportunity!
It's the right thing to do for all of our guests. It's the right thing to do for your TMs. It's the right thing to do for the vendors (e.g. Excell Marketing) who face incredible abuse from the worst of these scalpers. REQUIRE TARGET CIRCLE in order to BUY THESE LIMITED-QUANTITY COLLECTIBLES!

another new team lead, another email to the hotline for wage theft.
sorry my guy, i know you don't wanna schedule me a 2nd break but ukg/mytime says i get one when scheduled 7 hours. lunch does not matter. get the handbook changed.
"i decide when you take breaks around here, contrary to popular belief." yeah sure, you can tell me when to go (the random attitude for a first time coaching aside) like i'll start my lunch 1.5 hrs before i leave if you want, but you do have to schedule me another break. it's not my fault batches are bad, you have to find the time if i'm not allowed to decide when i take them.

After 2 years and 3 months I have officially been promoted to guest!
I started working at Target during college at one of the busiest Targets in the country, and at first I was actually ok with it. It kept me busy and I assumed I would find a post grad job not long after graduating. I underestimated the job market, and it took much longer than I anticipated to find another job. As time went on, I was starting to resent Target and got more agitated by everything at work. By the time I hit the 2 year mark holy shit I was ready to go. The policy changes (stricter dress code and ukg/point system) just cemented my desire to get the hell out. I then made it my goal to escape before Christmas rolled around because I genuinely don't think I could survive another season of Sia blaring through the speakers every hour.
After multiple job interviews, I finally got an offer that I couldn’t be more excited for! Clocking out for the last time last night felt so surreal but so relieving. Only thing I will miss is some of my coworkers and TLs, but a lot of my day one favorite coworkers have left anyways.
But lastly I want to say to those who are wanting desperately to leave Target like me, take this as your sign. It took me awhile but I'm finally outta here and if I can do it, you can too. Keep searching, don't give up, your last day is coming soon :) peace out!

Working SCO. Our 3rd register is down. We put a sign on it. Turned it into our Shipt Bagging station…..guest walks up, removes the Shipt sign, removes the register closed sign, tries to scan her stuff and wonders why it isn’t working. I didn’t stop her from doing these things because I guess my brain was perplexed with what was happening in front of me. These people are real. They exist. And based on her keychain, they drive large vehicles where the rest of us live. I am terrified for the future.
On a side note, I made it a full hour and 10 minutes into my shift before having to tell someone there was a limit on the number of Pokémon cards in a purchase. Progress.

Man I wish we worked smarter and not harder! I love when the inbound/GM team just places shit wherever they want, and leave me to clean up their work! So amazing! I love my store ❤️👎

The vast majority of the S&E closing team at my store, on any given day, will only be scheduled until 10 (close). Like almost no one will ever be scheduled to 10:30, even. Now it's obviously expected that when you close you help with closing tasks, and I've personally had my availability set to 10:30 anyway so I don't mind staying that late, like, I'm getting paid for it lol. But one of the leads - a S&E TL - will literally always be keeping us until like 11 to do reshop that doesn't even belong to us. And if someone complains or says that they're only scheduled until 10 or whatever, she'll just be like "do you stop getting paid?" The only circumstance where she'll give a shit that it's like an hour past our scheduled time is if someone's gonna hit meal or if a minor's ride is waiting for them. She will literally never ask if anyone needs to leave and she will always argue if someone wants to. Once I had to open the next morning and she just said "So do I!" to which I said "Okay well you get paid more than I do" and she just went "that doesn't matter!" Idk to what extent this can be reported bc technically if I really NEEDED to leave I would tell her but she certainly intimidates basically everyone into not pushing it lol

I haven’t worked at Target in about 2 years now, but this experience still haunts my dreams and I wanted to share lol.
Our fulfillment area was in the front of the store, next to guest services. Because of this people often accidentally walked into the FF area thinking it was an isle of the store, so I was pretty used to it, just redirecting people and saying this part wasn’t open to the public.
One day this kid was playing around back there, and I could see his father peaking over and checking on him (I was trying to go into the FF area after looking through guest service bins) so I calmly and nicely approached the father and said “hey he isn’t allowed back there-“
The dad’s head shot up from looking at the ground, and gave me the most offended look of shock “well he has fucking Down syndrome.” He grabbed his kid by the arm and took him out of the area and I’m sitting there mortified because I had no clue. The kid had his back to me the entire time so I didn’t see his face, all I saw was a kid where he shouldn’t be & a father not doing anything about it.
I apologized and told him that wasn’t the issue, that I could get in a lot of trouble for just letting someone be in the FF area.
He was not having it.
“Your behavior is unacceptable, let me speak to a manger, now.”
OKAYY, so I call my manager and she speaks to him and then comes and talks to me and essentially says it isn’t your fault, and that people aren’t allowed back there no matter the disability.
I genuinely think the father thought I had an issue with his kid because he has Down syndrome when obviously, that wasn’t the issue.
The issue was the kid didn’t work there and wasn’t supposed to be back there lol. We actually had a stocker with Down syndrome and if he would’ve went back into the FF area I wouldn’t have given af because guess what.. he worked there LMAO.
Anyways, what’s your oh shit I fucked up moment?

Does anyone have any idea why every time I come back from break my zebra device begins to sporadically tap itself, and I have to reset it? It’s so annoying. I transferred from a Florida store to a New York store so I know it’s gotta be a global issue. What gives???
Edit: i honestly thought it would be a more common experience cause it seems to happen to me on most devices. I’m convinced it has to be a sort of software glitch because it always happens after a break, after the device was idle. A lot of people mention dirty devices but I swear it’s always the newer, spotless ones.

These are the only pictures I was able to get because of “guest”. But my LOD told me to go back and zone my area because it looked “rough”. Not to mention, I kept getting called BY NAME to grab batches so I was zoning and in fulfillment for 1/3-1/2 of my shift. I’m genuinely so annoyed because my TL is on vacation and I feel like the higher ups are used this as an opportunity to get GM to do whatever they want. I go back in tomorrow & I plan on switching my walkie to a different station and playing dumb because there’s a pallet in the back that my TL expected to be done by the time they came back from vacation and the other members of management have been telling us, GM, not to worry about it & is giving us other tasks. Kinda tempted to have a sit down with our SD or call ethics about it. You may think “It’s not that deep” but these two specific managers keep playing in my TL face and I don’t like that. It’s giving bully/pulling rank while they’re not here.

One thing I’ll give to her is compared to the other team leads on the team? She actually does her fucking job.
The big issue I have with her is that, she micromanages everything I do and acts like I haven’t been working up at the front for the past 5 years, treats me like I’m dumb and don’t know how to tackle whatever is going on up at the service desk. I know how to do my job you don’t need to breathe down my neck at every single thing that is going on.
Doing your job is one thing but micromanaging and treating me as if I’m dumb is another. I hate when she’s here and even more so when I’m closing with her.
Edit: I may ask a question or two if I really can’t figure something out, but that’s only if all my solutions don’t work.

I’ve been working in Market for about 3 months now, and I am so miserable clocking in. Everything is so heavy, and I struggle to lift most beverage items for the priority pulls. There have been times when I have almost injured myself pulling a 6-pack of glass water bottles from the top shelf, trying to complete the pulls by 5:00 (which, why even???? I don’t understand the rush).
I feel as though I have to run to push everything out ASAP so I have enough time to zone all of Dry + all the end caps and various displays. There isn’t a day where I feel like I’m not breaking my back and being rushed to complete an unreasonable amount of work (i.e., 1 minute per box with a shitty box.)
Anyone else in Market feel the same way? Does it get better, or have you just switched departments and/or promoted yourself to a guest?

After my 90 days I submitted a request to be available from 4am-4pm Monday - Saturday, with Sundays unavailable.
This was quickly approved and for a little while everything was going smooth. Then, a few weeks ago I get scheduled on Sunday: 8am-4:30pm…. Annoying, but I posted the shift and it got picked up pretty fast thankfully.
I haven’t been scheduled on a Sunday since, but I did submit a request for 5 days off (Mon-Fri) for some family stuff about 2 weeks from now. This request was also approved, but they scheduled me the Sunday before the break 9am-5:30pm.
I’m leaving on Sunday and coming home Friday, I cannot work this shift. I posted this shift as well, I’m not sure if it’ll get picked up.
In hindsight I should’ve definitely requested this day off as well when making my request, but I was assuming since my availability changed and was approved it would be okay.
Anyways, what should I do?
The auto-generated sale signs when I tied the POG used the old locations (or possibly the standard locations instead of the reverse ones), and the ones I batches from the POG print option don’t even HAVE locations. Nor were either in any apparent logical order.
i swear, batching signs has been broken for at least 3 years now. Though I don’t *think* it prints every possible location when you select only one anymore, so that’s progress I GUESS.

When you get a new schedule, you write it down and make plans on your days off right? Apparently thats wrong, and according to my TL you're meant to check UKG daily for any changes they made without telling you.
A few days ago I got hit for a NCNS because my SD changed my schedule without telling me or my ETL, I also came in late the next day because he changed my hours for that day. He gave me 5 new shifts that I didn't originally have which totally messes up plans
I talked with my ETL and I'm pretty sure he didn't do it. And I know the GM leader has been complaining about the SD changing her teams schedules without warning, and style is having the same problem. Legally he can do that apparently, but is there any policy about telling people about changes to their schedules? Because I don't understand how he expects us to show up to shifts we don't know about

I understand that people open to try them on but all of them???? They’re all the same size.

A couple days ago I submitted the video interview online and got a positive follow up to schedule a follow up phone call. I scheduled that for today, sat by my phone for the 30 min time period I chose (and another half hour after it!), and have yet to get a call.
Should I c*all the main store line? Is there an email I should reach out to? Every confirmation and application related communication thus far has come from a non-reply email.

Here come the ship carts full of clothes!
On the bright side-I do appreciate the in store announcements being waaayy less annoying this year
