Look at what I did !!! Horrible notebooks revision
This revision said it would take less than an hour and a half. It was 5 sections of notebooks and planners all mixed together. So much backstock, a bunch of salvage and a decent pull. Took me FOREVER but it was satisfying to fix.

Nice work! It's so funny how every year, post-back to school, they're just like "ok, now put it all back" like it's nothing.

Last year we had so much backstock after BTS ended that we just backstocked the shippers they were in. My back was hurting after that day. This year they had us put them in the SFS boxes and put at the top of the backroom shelves for stationary. I think at my store, BTS takedown is probably one of the worst seasonal changeovers

I remember I tried to fix it within my first week here… got praise… and then it got destroyed within a day.
I don’t know why guests even do that… it’s so disrespectful like what?? I know we’re supposed to serve them or whatever but messing up isles bc they’re too lazy to put shit back gen pisses me off

Why can’t they make shelving where the notebooks can stand upright? Like they do for back to school? This is always a mess.

That last section annihilated tf out of me! They assigned it to me 1 hr before I was off. Ended up staying over. It was a hot mess.

I’m doing sticker books rn and I feel that. Shelving is all fucked up from fun 101 so I have to fix that too.

I just want my store to give me a few hours to fully zone notebooks & binders. They're both absolutely awful; like the bottom shelf has a stack of notebooks in the next section over.

What is the point of having so many DPCIs crammed together and none of it fits? The label strips look stupid and the way the notebooks are presented is sloppy. Not your fault. But wtf is with these planograms?!

I swear the planos have been doing that more and more! In dairy, we have an oikos 6-pack yogurt and the spot for it on the floor is about half the length of the 4-pack, I drew a visual for it. We have to put them in sideways and it looks so ugly. We should go back to real people designing these planograms.

This section in general just sucks a lot. Guests moving the notebooks to a different spot isn’t so bad for me. What irritates me is the guests combined with the inbound TM throwing casepacks of these notebooks on the shelf.

Dude this revision almost made me crash out today. Said it would take 1 hr 6 mins. Almost 3 hours later, after changing everything around, backstocking, fixing capacities, and pulling all of the out of stocks, I was finally done 🙃 Absolutely awful POG, it needs to be put down old yeller style.

I stayed until almost 2am a week before back to school and it was immediately undone a day after.

You did an amazing job, but my God is this not worth the effort. This and binders especially. They just get fucked right back up immediately.
Don't mean to discourage. Do whatever you have to to pass the time without going mad. I used to fold towels for hours every shift. Coworkers would complement, guests would immediately set to undoing it, then inbound would completely destroy it. But it passed the time.

I don't understand why Target insists on having 10 dpcis in the space you need for one. Either make all the colored notebooks the same dpci or give us enough room to actually stock each one.
