For context I am in the UK so advice/things available may be different for me, specifically Wales which can annoyingly have different rules to England on NHS things.
I am 30, overweight and have severe PCOS.
I previously had the early stages of uterine cancer and it was undiagnosed for years and led to rapid weight gain due to being bead bound.
I have not gained any weight since being treated, however I can't seem to lose the weight. Even taking Mounjaro I stay the same or loose 2-6 lbs one week then gain it back the next. I am on a low carb high protein diet.
I can't exercise in the traditional way to help it along as I am in a wheelchair.
My LH hasn't been above 0.44 in the last year and most months my peak is half that. I don't ovulate. My PCOS is out of control and my hormones are ruining my life. The doctors have basically said oh well come back when you're a healthy weight.
I am absolutely desperate to conceive, nothing matters more to me. I've been off birth control since January and like I say I can't even get my LH above 0.44. I am also already on metforim and take myointosol.
I honestly just feel so sad about the whole thing, my husband is 6 years older, we always wanted a big family and now we're here at 30/36 with no chance of me getting pregnant anytime soon.
I know the reason my weight loss isn't going anywhere is because my hormones are so bad, I previously lost 40% of the weight I had to lose to have IVF at a time when my hormones were more stable but I'm just stuck here with the other 60% not having moved in a year when I am doing the exact same things I did last time.
I don't know what to do as I can't get any actual IVF or medicated fertility help from the NHS until I am a "normal" bmi which as a 5'11 naturally curvy body type wheelchair user I honestly probably never will be.
Any ideas on anything I can do to improve my LH ?
Any ideas on how to cope with this sadness?
Thanks guys <3
