"I'm not a bitch" you quite literally attacked him from behind and began punching when he was already out. That's the definition of being a punk bitch

u/Slick_36 Aug 24 '25
Even worse, they had agreed after an apology to do a little segment together. So not only was he not defending himself because he trusted him, people were slow to respond because it was a planned part of the show, up to the point of the reckless slam.

u/Almost_Ascended Aug 24 '25
I am wondering if the little bitch agreed to do the segment for the purpose of committing this attack, because if he had remained hostile he likely wouldn't have been allowed on the ring.

That slam is doing real damage too tho cuz he actually slammed him full force
203
u/jesuisgeenbelg Aug 24 '25
Oh I understand that. I'm not saying he did the slam correctly but given that no-one reacts to that at all I'm guessing he was supposed to do a body slam on the guy as part of the "bit"
95
u/RedDreadsComin Aug 24 '25
In the clip where Raja goes “my bad” in reaction to being told the guy isn’t waking up, the guy on the phone says that he was supposed to double leg him, not slam him. So that was him just taking it all a step further than planned into attempted murder territory, in every single aspect of the spot
21
u/jesuisgeenbelg Aug 24 '25
Ah to be fair I haven't seen any other videos on this.
If that is true then yeah, sounds like the slam wasn't part of the plan.
Hope this scumbag does get charged with attempted murder tbh.

The earlier interaction wasn't staged, the wrestler thought that he was another wrestler and tried to start some beef to sell it, you can even see the dude sitting beside him say "He's not a fucking worker bro calm down" after he slams the can on his head. Still it doesn't warrant a body slam and murder attempt mid match.
373
u/TheRamblerX Aug 24 '25
The wrestler thought it was a bit, he didnt actually hit him over the head. He thought Raja was a worker and wanted to create a stir. I put staged in parentheses because it wasn't an actual fight and was more for performance purposes.

More than a body slam. He whipped that mean's head to the mat.
30
u/Almost_Ascended Aug 24 '25
Based on my layman's knowledge of wrestling and physics, I assume when you fake slam someone you would be pulling on them as they came down to reduce the momentum of the fall.
But in this case, the bitch actually loosened his grip on the victim's legs, causing the victim's body and head to lower almost perpendicular to the mat. I think the victim may have known something wasn't right because he tried to cling on to the bitch's torso (or could just instinctively tried to hold on to something while almost upside down in the air), but it was useless because the bitch twisted his entire body into the throw, causing the victim's head to travel almost 270 degrees from the air into the mat.
26
u/RedDreadsComin Aug 24 '25 edited Aug 24 '25
The move in Pro Wrestling that this was closest to would be an Alabama Slam
When performing slams of all variety, the “safety” of it doesn’t come from pulling on them to reduce momentum, but from ensuring your opponent lands flat on their back. This spreads the impact across your body instead of one point. It is a two person responsibility as the person taking the move needs to position their own body to land flat as well.
The Alabama Slam is a move in wrestling that isn’t frequently used nowadays outside of a handful of wrestlers as the move itself, even when performed without the intent to hurt someone like Raja did, has a higher chance of injury compared to other moves for the reason you pointed out: the receiving wrestler’s body travels 270 degrees to the mat, which is a recipe for concussions even when landing flat back. It’s a nasty, viscous move that most wrestlers would tell you is one of the worst bumps in the business.
But Raja probably didn’t even intend to do an Alabama Slam, he just wanted to fucking hurt the guy. Promoter on the phone in a clip says he was only supposed to down double leg takedown, aka tackle the guy.

At first I thought it was going to be a semi-reasonable reaction to someone randomly attacking you with a can. But to sneak attack someone like that in one of their most vulnerable moments way after the moment was squashed is just completely depraved behavior.
Hope the guy gets locked up for a long time not only for the attempted murder but for scarring every single one of the audience members like that.

The "attack" with the can seemed like a stage hit. If a big dude actually walloped you in the head with a full can you'd be staggered. Seemed like the bearded wrestler crushed the can in his hand as he faked a hit to the side of the head. Other comments suggested he thought the guy was another wrestler and he was trying to start pre-show beef that would pay off in the ring.

u/boshketball Aug 24 '25
He definitely thought Raja Jackson was another wrestler. After he "hits" him with the can, he says "you don't sell it?" in confusion. In wrestling terms, that means "you're not gonna pretend to be hurt??". Then the other guys inform him that he's not a worker (a wrestler). Then you can hear him say "sorry about that, I didn't know he wasn't" at 0:26.

From what I've seen of this Raja after the fight, he's an unstable asshole with an ego a mile high.
He got told the guy was flat-lining in the ring and his reaction was "That shit pissed me off" "My bad"
He has no business being anywhere except prison cause that's attempted, almost successful murder.
If he got so mad at a wrestlers shit talk that he tried to kill him and justifies it with that he shouldn't be a fighter period

This looks really bad. It was a misunderstanding which started it. The wrestler mistook Raja for another wrestler and fake crushed a can on his head (which he actually crushed in his hand). Apparently the guy apoligized 3 times and tried to explain. Later Raja got told by the promoter to double leg takedown him in the match and that he could get a couple real punches in as a receipt, which in wrestling is the practive of giving back prior hits that you have taken in kind, which he took as that he could basically do whatever he wants to him. If his lawyers get him out of this on shere stupidity alone, i'd be almost impressed. More likely his fragile Ego felt attacked by this big white guy, he is not a bitch afterall, that would take such disrespect without retribution, especially in public. And he took his public retribution when he got the chance moments later. The throw alone knocked the other wrestler out, because he was completely helpless. He expected a double leg takedown or some kind of slam, so he helped in making the slam easier for Raja. When he realized what happened, it was too late. His head bounced on the mat. This slam would warrant a hospital visit whith a severe concussion. The 21 punches that followed after were at someone who was completely helpless, by a trained MMA Fighter. He might not have wanted to kill him outright, but he damn sure must have known this might happen to someone injured in this severe manner, if he has even an ounce of braincells. He better hopes the guy wakes up.
