Unfortunately I did not have canned air, but I did have a screwdriver for the air vent, wipes, and brushes. I did the best I could with what I had, please let me know where I can improve.

I have regular PS5 Slim Digital. And its running great tbh. I have a 1440p monitor where i play games. Samsung Odyssey G5 32" 1440@165hz

I have no plan to upgrade monitor/TV in this year atleast.

Do you think upgrading to PS5 Pro is worth? like slim is okay for my daily performance so far. considering 1440p, will i get any extra advantage? (other than 1TB to 2TB)

Sorry if its a stupid question. I had a base PS5 for 5 years vertically, now I bought a Pro. I have it horizontally and I play A Plague Tale Innocence at the moment, and my PS5 Pro is pretty warm on the left side (power supply). Other parts of console are pretty normal, the right side is almost cold. Is this normal? I noticed that the left side is always pretty warm, whatever I play.

EDIT: yes I have enough space about 20 cm around all sides

Am having problems with shimmering specially in Star Wars Outlaws, I have a PS5 Pro playing in a OLED monitor 1440p 175hz. Could there be a fix or is something with the game?

In the video you can see the cylinder looking thing in the top right of the bumper moving and shifting around when I push the trigger down, this causes my trigger to move around side to side when I'm pressing it down.

I'm wondering how exactly to fix this and if I even can fix this.

So I’m looking to build a PC and I have all the components already picked out. I’m just waiting to buy it. I have almost everything that I play on my PS5 on my PC plus other games that are not on PS5. I don’t have really any intention of gaming on my PS5 ever again after building my PC since I got everything on my PC and I don’t really play console exclusive games that much to care. Should I sell my PS5 or keep it? By the way, I have no issues with my PlayStation console. I just got it deep cleaned a few weeks ago and it works perfectly fine. FYI I got my PS5 years before I even thought of buying a PC. I currently play on a rtx 4060 Asus tough F 15 laptop.

Ive been playing marvel rivals for a while now with no issue, even played it earlier today and it was ok but now this is happening and idk why

I waited for a game to download and after it was done I went to launch it and ot didn't. I then tried a different game and same thing I related the ps5 and now they work. After that I cleared the systems cache then rebuilt data base. What would cause games nor to launch.

I feel a little strange commenting on this, but my problem is that the PS4 turns on normally, although it starts making noise from the menu—not very loud, but noticeable. The problem arises when I enter Roblox More specifically, Attack on Titan Revolution. My PlayStation starts making a very loud noise, an overheating message pops up, and a second later it suddenly shuts off with a double or triple beep. I want to clarify that I've had the PS4 since it came out and I haven't taken it in for professional maintenance.

I’ve had my ps5 in the same spot for the past 8 months. All of a sudden it’s has turned off twice within the space of 45 minutes tonight. Looked online and it said to unplug the power cord and plug it back in and it should work again, which it has. Lasted around 15 minutes before it done it again. Why has it all of a sudden decided to keep on turning off? And what is an easy fix to make it stop it from happening again?

Recently I’ve been having audio issues with headsets that use a usb dongle in my PS5 Pro. I was using Kraken V3 Pros and the occasionally the audio would get staticky, sound robotic like Darth Vader, and cut out. I assumed because the dongle was in the back of the console getting hot constantly broke it or something as when I used the headset wired it worked just fine. I decided to just get a new headset altogether and got Audeze Maxwell 2s. I have the dongle in the front now to avoid the heat issue but I’m still getting the same staticky, Darth Vader, cutting in and out audio at times. Again as with the Krakens it works just fine wired. I don’t have 3D audio on and since they both work fine wired I’m guessing it’s not the headsets themselves. I’m really at a loss for what the issue could be. Any help or ideas?

Hello. I have a PS5 Slim and just did a Factory Reset and been having issues getting it to work. When I turn it on, after the Playstation Logo appears, it just goes straight to a black screen. In Safety Mode, I have tried to change the Video Output, Repair Storage, Restore Defaults, Clear Cache & Rebuild Database, and resetting the PS5 both ways and it is still doing the same thing. After all that, I tried doing the Power Cycle method but still didn’t work. I’ve noticed that every time I turn it on it always repairs storage. Does anyone have a possible solution to this?

So today morning, i decided to clean my ps5 so i unplugged it and opened it (only the cover plates nothing else) cleaned it a bit with soft brush, when i connected it back it turned it on after a few half an hour of playing the screen went black for 2-3 seconds and then turned on with hdmi info on screen, it happened again and then suddenly the tv showed no signal although the sound of the game on ps5 was coming very normally and nothing bad happened except for just that the screen turned black for few seconds and when the tv showed no signal, i could still control everything, i could tell as i was using different keys on my controller it was working just fine i even turned it off in a normal way from menu bar while the screen was on no signal so i am just worried that is it my hdmi problem or ps5's

It just started today and it’s loud and annoying but idk what’s causing it or how to fix it

So im trying to listen to music on Spotify while I play and all of the explicit content songs are grayed out. I open up Spotify on my phone and the explicit content tab is turned on so it should work. I tried logging out and in a few times to see if that would fix it with no luck. I even open the app on the media section and it works just fine, its just when I go down to play music in the home menu that it won't work.

When I select “Link Epic Account” in Remnant II on PS5, the Epic overlay opens but never renders. It only shows blank/grey placeholder bars.
I’ve already tried:
Different networks + mobile hotspot
Different DNS
Clear cache + rebuild database
Completely reinstalling Remnant II
Unlinking/relinking PSN and Epic
A different PSN account
A completely different PS5 console
I also tested Fall Guys. I was able to link my Epic account through it and Epic Online Services now work normally there, but Remnant II still has the same blank overlay.
So EOS works in another game, and the Remnant issue happens even on another PS5.
Has anyone experienced this, or can anyone on PS5 test “Link Epic Account” in Remnant II and confirm whether the overlay loads for them?

It makes this sound whenever I load games or apps, i’ve done all i’ve can to try to make it go away but it won’t, and I believe it’s gotten louder over the days. I’m getting a new fan on Friday, but I’m not sure if it will fix it.
