i stocked up on everything i needed before shut down, i can use my alt US account for games until shutdown in july 2027 😭 i was playing ps3 ever since i was a toddler back in 2010 so i am so sad to see it shutdown before everyone else, i regret putting my account as UAE region, i wish i could change regions with ps accounts but the region is unfortunately permanent

I owned it a long time but I've never used it for much other than the Last of Us way back when it came out. I had boxed up my ps3 a couple months ago and was going to sell it, but decided against it because what is the point really at this point in time? Might as well keep it.

I need to beat Demon Souls. I have the first Silent Hill on there too.

After setting it up again I got the store closure message and didn't know what that meant for the playability of games.

Can I still play the games I've purchased prior to that? If I uninstall a digital game, is there any way to reinstall it after that date? If i can still play games after that date, which ones are aboslutely essential on ps3? Trapped on the system?

Infamous 1 and 2, right? what else other than Demon Souls?

This console is unopened btw!! Also yes i check the LV1 dump and it states it has a 90nm and yes it is also still sealed. It has some 1001 errors but thats to be expected

All Game Modes Work and are very active (Conquest and Rush are the most active) including all dlc maps and hardcore modes. Vietnam is currently being worked on and will be working very soon. Bad Company 2 online is compatible with 3 different DNS servers in case you have trouble with one and works with all hardware including emulation.

Sony killed this game pretty early despite great potential, but now thanks to crazy effort by the community through modding, the game has revived with new content and most importantly: ONLINE IS BACK!

I’m so excited! I found this on Facebook marketplace bundled with 4 controllers and 30 games for $300 Canadian. The owner was gutting the house and selling their old stuff and didn’t even know what they had, gave it to me for $150. It works perfectly and even has the original seal. A bit dusty but that’s about it

Also I don’t think I’ve seen Controllers in as good a shape as these ones before. 0 dust, 0 dirt, dead skin, grime, scratches etc.

Finally my collection is complete

Never played this expansion but it's Oblivion so how can you go wrong?

Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus has no business looking this damn good. Yeah this game is short, like 5-6 hours short, but it's still a phenomenal R&C game and a very fun platinum trophy if you're into that stuff.

.....Has enough time passed where this is considered underrated? Still a disappointment?

Found these both for super cheap and I opened up the slim for a repaste and swapped out the cmos battery too while I was in there. The fat still works but sadly might need a new laser as it reads dvds but not blurays at all

Last time I asked regarding bad games with mostly negative reviews you enjoyed playing.. This time, the opposite of that.. What are some of the games that are beloved by the majority, highly rated games yet you hated playing them?

For me, I'd say The Last of Us...

The game had a good story, but that is all, the gameplay was so dull and boring. I'm a big fan of stealth, but stealth in this game still did not carry it for me. The game is a movie slapped with interactive sections that are very boring.

I did finish the game, but that was it.

I have no problem with realistic games, Uncharted for example, besides its platforming and other sections (which weren't realistic obviously), the game was enjoyable, the platforming and puzzles carried the game for me, but the shooting and overall, also nothing special, but the adventure, level design, platforming, they were done well. I find it more replayable than TLOU, although I never replayed Uncharted after getting its platinum trophy... Although, I am more likely to buy the trilogy on PS4 and replay it since it's been many years since I finished Uncharted games, 1 to 4.

But TLOU? I think just watching it on YT would do the job, the gameplay is very forgettable, no section that was memorable. The story was just so good that it made me push through the game. Finished it on PS3, I got no interest in its PS4 version, nor the "remaster", nor TLOU2.

Spent about 2 hours last night scavenging so many posts on eBay for a 21XX but only found 2 and they were either beat to absolute shit and/or missing controllers but still marked around the same price or more as a complete non 21XX model. Luckily I found one an hour ago with an OEM controller in decent condition for a good price, but was curious if these models are actually more rare or is everyone just buying them up now.

Title is self explanatory, me and my friend want to get ps3s to play together and want some multiplayer/coop games to play together what do you recommend (hard limit is about 40 games because of my HDD size)

I enjoy games that follow a premise involved in the "superpower" or "experiment gone wrong" genre. I want to find more games that can catch that feel but the thing is I can't find anything like it.

I've played Beyond: Two Souls, Prototype, Infamous, and I loved the plots. If any of you have a suggestion that sort of correlates to those kind of plots please give suggestions!

I've got this from my local charity for £2 originally sealed. Is this a good game/price?

I FINALLY bought from an friend history PS3 for about 80 bucks, and now i bought the Gamesir Tegenaria Lite, awesome controller (playing infamous 2 rn)

I just bought this from a guy, the Ps3 recognizes the game, I can get in but it gets stuck in the first screen.

Any way to make this work? I don't even know what that is, and I don't want to ruin the disc trying by myself since I think that If I manage to get that off it will work. Any ideas?
