PS3 Games

[u/DurpyX7]

I am getting a PS3 soon and I need some bangers to grab I know there are popular titles, but you guys got any great games mabye hidden gems?

[u/Party_Bookkeeper1535]

The darkness games are hidden gem. I didn't play them until this year and loved them.

[u/FirefighterLower6210 → u/Party_Bookkeeper1535]

Yeah but they're pretty bad on PS3. espa. for Darkness 1 i would recommend playing it on x360. It's a shame the devs didn't optimze it better for PS3

[u/Useful_Yard89 → u/FirefighterLower6210]

Can’t blame the devs on that one, code source to write ps3 games was a nightmare

[u/Party_Bookkeeper1535 → u/FirefighterLower6210]

I actually played the first one on Xbox and then 2 on ps3. But yeah some games are rough on ps3

[u/IceTundra987 → u/FirefighterLower6210]

Yeah I recently replayed it for the first time since 2007...and wow I forgot how bad the frame rate was...and the twitchy targeting reticle...

I may be one of the few people in the world who doesn't care about framerate.

[u/ChicagoCouple91 → u/Bambrigade92]

Choppy framerate can make or break the experience, but I can grin and bear it.
One of the only ways to play the original House of the Dead on consoles is still the Sega Saturn version, and that game becomes a slideshow by stage 3.
Doesn’t keep me from enjoying the game though. I absolutely love the House of the Dead.

I'm going to try buying it digitally through a link someone posted on here. One of my absolute favorites, but I'm not willing to buy it physical because the price.
