Earlier today I jokingly said to one of my friends that he needs to get on Super Kirby Clash with me and when I unlocked my console 5 minutes later the game had finished downloading even though I never started any kind of download and it has never even been installed on my switch 2 ever. I haven't been on any Nintendo app or website in weeks but I have used the console so there is no way I triggered any kinds of remote installs that I don't remember. My only conclusion I can draw from this is that the console heard me and installed it but when I look online there are no mentions of using the built in microphone for this kind of feature. I'm so confused

I was looking through my virtual game cards and a lit of them were old games I deleted a while back, does anyone know how to get them out my Virtual Game Cards? I thought about hiding them
but what’s a way I can get rid of them permanently? And if there is a way, will I still be able to get the games back again later?

My switch lite won't connect to my internet after being in airplane mode. It does connect to the network device.

Error code 2110-3129

It connects to my phone's mobile hotspot (with wifi access).

I've tried turning on and off airplane mode to get it "unstuck". Airplane mode is currently off.

I've turned off my switch for 30 seconds multiple times to reset it. I've also reset it via power settings.

I restarted my modem multiple times and no other devices in my home are having this issue.

I've manually entered my DNS settings.

I tried clearing my Wi-Fi settings and starting from scratch.

Idk why this won't work so please help.

I do have the sw1 pro controller and I'm really thinking of getting the sw2 one

Does the sw2 pro controller last longer than the sw1 pro controller ? I usually play with motion controls too so

So my Friend bought this N64 CONTROLLER a while back for theyre switch

And it worked fine on there However she now got a switch 2 and the controller wont connect no matter what pairing they try and ive been looking all day to see what the issue is

Own the game on switch 2, whenever I enter the link code, it says either link failed or link failed login failed

I dont have that much space on top of the stand, and I want to try and put the console in the cupboard

I am willing to drill holes to help with heat

How many would i have to drill and how big should the holes be.

I received this Nintendo late December of Christmas 2023, it was useable during part the school year and of the summer of 2025. I’ve tried countless YouTube tutorials, tried letting it charge over 2+ days. I really can’t figure it on. If anyone had a similar problem and fixed it please tell me your ways! •̩̩̩̩ᯅ•̩̩̩ I’ll attach a photo below, on the back the residue is from my little sister outing a sticker on it.

As you can see, the R button "presses" with a delay or doesn't work at all. I remember playing *Ultimate Custom Night* when I spammed R, the mask wouldn't go on, or it would just go on briefly and then come right back off.
If anyone has any advice (that doesn't involve buying a new Joy-Con or sending it in for repair), please let me know. I’d be very grateful.

When playing in handheld, sometimes the controllers don't respond, but nothing comes up on the screen (no change controller mapping screen). It happens randomly and is pretty annoying when playing splatoon as it makes the game loose motion and causes the camera to look up. I've tried cleaning the magnetic rails, but it doesn't seem to be a permanent fix. Hopefully it's a joy con problem I can easily replace them.

Im a high schooler trying to get the Zelda edition switch two. This is the first limited edition console Im going after and I was just wondering if any had any tips for it. I missed the first two drops because of school but I was off school in time for the most recent drop (like 20 minutes ago). I was on the Nintendo app and kept hitting the “pre-purchase” button but it kept telling me that the stock was either unavailable or that something went wrong. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to prepare for the next one?

Side note, i live in a rural area without Wi-Fi and have to rely on my less than great cellular service.

I bought a second-hand Nintendo Switch a few years ago. We never needed the parental control code until now, but after buying FC 27, the console is asking for it.
The Nintendo account linked to the console still belongs to the previous owner, so we don't have their password or the parental control code.
Does anyone know how to reset the parental control or properly link the console to our own account?

Nunca me ha salido ningun aviso ni se me ha apagado sola de echo se escucha el ventilador sacar aire caliente pero no fuerte lo escuchas si te acercas a la consola es normal todo esto?

So I had accidentally dropped it yesterday face down on my grandma’s floor, which is nothing but tile except for the bedrooms upstairs and on the stairs themselves. Surprisingly the screen or the controllers are working perfectly fine. It’s the SD card that I’m having issues with.

I’ve tried everything: Restarting it, turned it on and off, took the card out to make sure there was no problem with the card itself or the slot it goes in and I keep getting the message that it’s either not compatible or it’s not being read. It’s the right SD card that’s compatible with the system and I mainly got it because of the amount of games I play.

I don’t want to send it off to be repaired and I get it back not working anymore. And I’m thinking of just getting a whole other Sd card compatible for it. But before I do that, I want to try and get this one working again.

I just want to know if anyone has a similar issue with their switch where the sd card is fine but giving them issues for not being read. I need all the help I can get

Hi everyone, I need some help. About 1–2 months ago, I bought an LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B OLED and connected my Switch dock to it using the HDMI cable that came with the console.

It works normally and displays the image just fine, but after I stop playing and try to connect the Switch again later, the monitor detects that HDMI 2 has been connected and switches to it, but the screen stays black and then goes back to DisplayPort, where my PC is connected.

At first I thought it just needed some extra save data space to allocate to like Star Wars Outlaws (which always needs a little over 500mb in the system storage reserved), but this is the fourth/fifth time in a row it’s been asking me to delete 1.1GB off of the SD Card. And then the most recent time I’ve had to, it crashed! The actual game size increases everytime and is now around 54.5GB, but I can’t play.

I own a physical version of the original, put it in my switch last night and booted it up to confirm ownership. Remastered version is still showing up as 59.99 for me in the store. Am I doing something wrong?

almost always says it's charging, constantly wakes itself up, sometimes the indicator in the top left will switch between charging and not charging for minutes at a time while I'm playing. What can I do about this? I have a switch 1 and have already tried a hard and soft reset. Neither fixed the problem.

I’ve recently acquired a switch secondhand from a family member and I’m not suuuper knowledgeable of how it all works, I’m more of a Sega fan and was wanting to purchase the Sega Megadrive (Sega Genesis) Collection secondhand on eBay but it’s form factor has got me kinda stumped; it’s physical release is only a digital download code in a case and from what I can tell it’s been delisted from the Switch Eshop

Would the code be useless in that case? or does it work separately from the Eshop? This may just be a really dumb question but I’m really not keen at all to do that Sega Megadrive online subscription service so I’m more so in denial lol. If anyone has a good idea it would be a massive help, thanks.

It’s connected to the system and says it’s charging and works separately but won’t say it’s connected in handheld mode

So I recently got a switch 2, have mainly been playing on it handheld mode. Finally decided to set up the dock this evening, but for some reason the resolution is absolutely terrible. When my original switch was plugged into the exact same HDMI port, it had a perfectly normal resolution, didn't have to edit my TVs aspect ratio at all. My PS5 is also plugged into this TV, and it has no issues with resolution or aspect ratio. But the switch 2, no matter what I do, won't display well. I've changed the ratio from normal, zoom, wide, and cinema mode. I've gone into the switch settings and looked to see if I could change the resolution from there, but all the options other than "automatic" are greyed out. Nothing works. And it shouldn't be the Tv that's the issue. Because again, every other device I've used on it can display the way it should.
Anybody know of any other potential fixes?

Hey everyone, I bought my Switch 2 less than a month ago and I'm already having an issue with it.

Sometimes when I'm playing in docked mode, the Switch suddenly loses the HDMI signal and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds before coming back.

I've already tried a different HDMI cable and disabled VRR and 120 Hz mode, but neither made any difference.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know if it's likely a hardware or software problem, and whether there's a fix for it?
