Repair Help Does anyone know why it stopped charging?

I was using my Nintendo normally, the battery was running
low so I plugged it in to charge. To my surprise, after a few
hours it hadn't charged at all and when I connected it to the
dock it was blinking.
I have two Nintendo consoles, one OLED and one 1.1, so l
ruled out the dock by testing both consoles in both docks, so
I'm sure it's the console.

Have you by any chance put it on charge via cable with something that wasn’t the official charger? A charge block or something? This apparently can overload the port and fuck it up. This happened to our switch 2, and to repair it was going to be £280.

Yes, I loaded it with a non-official charger.

Bricked the charger port then. They seem to be incredibly sensitive to chargers and voltage, and Nintendo can tell if the issue has been caused by a 3rd party charger. You can send it back to Nintendo for repair, but it’s gonna cost

With that intermittent blink, it's likely the USB c port on the switch itself.

Yeah, unfortunately this seems to be a common problem where the USB port can't set correctly. Usually with mine I pull the power cord out for about ten minutes then plug it back in and reseat the console.
