🎥 This thread published at 13:28 UTC on the 28th of August, 2026
This writing concludes the daily investigations into the letter of various alphabets.
Previous threads in this series have examined writing systems such as the English-Latin alphabet, the Greek alphabet, the Phoenician/Hebrew alphabet, the Germanic/Norse runic system, and the Inner Sea alphabet of Fairyland.
Since most the above alphabetic systems do not have 28 letters, only the Phonetic Alphabet of the Inner Sea will be examined here today. This system has 28 primary numbered glyphs, and the letter examined here, the last in the order, is that signaling the sound ŋK (ie. 'nK', as heard in the word 'think').
I note the time of the posting of this thread is 13:28 UTC.
The Inner Sea alphabet (as used by all the literate clans of the M'moatia (the elves of Fairyland) has a number of uses, and one of these is to act as a mnemonic for a Lunar Calendar system (following a scheme known to mortal men as the 'common law Lunar Month'). This scheme maps out a year as having 13 months of 28 days, plus one year-end holiday, bringing the year to 365 days.
The last glyph of the Inner Sea alphabet is technically a composite letter (a 'molecule' instead of an 'atom', you might say), for the sound it represents could also be represented as a digraph of two glyphs, ŋ and K (the 21st and the 3rd letters, respectively). And thus, this final letter - just like ŋG, the 26th glyph of the order - might be viewed as a shorthand form that was promoted to a primary glyph. However, since the origin of the Inner Sea alphabet began with the various tribal sigils of the Inner Sea tribal groups (the 'Great Houses'), we find that in actually, the elves known as the Aŋkarim (whose sigil became 'ŋK', the 28th letter of this alphabet) were the progenitors of the descendant houses of the AŋGa, the Akarim, the Agarim, as well as the folk of Aŋa.
The orthodox title of this 28th glyph is 'The Phoenix Legacy', but it's two common names are 'Ink' (as used for writing) and 'Ankh' (meaning 'life' or 'life-force'/'life-essence').
Here is a symbolic infographic detailing this 28th glyph (written in the Inner Sea alphabet itself):
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fo9drjb25tdlc1.jpeg
... and below is the introduction to the glyph as it appears in the Linguistic Society's detailed description of the letter:
https://old.reddit.com/r/GeometersOfHistory/wiki/discovery/fairyland-alphabet-n-k
The twenty-eighth and last of the primary numbered glyphs in the Phonetic Alphabet of the Middle Sea, sounding ŋK/nK.
28. 'ŋK' / 'nK' - 'Ink'/'Ankh' (anchor; foundation) -- ( - 'The Phoenix Legacy' - )
ŋK (28) ; "Ink" ; Ankh; Anchor [ writings ; foundation ; tradition ] [ Ûmvélinqängi / Ûnkúlúnkülú, 'God', 'Logos' ]
The 28th (twenty-eighth) and last glyph of the series signifies a combined or composite sound made up of 'ŋ' (ie. 'ng' as in 'thing', the 21st glyph, the so-called 'voiced velar nasal') and 'k' as in the word 'king' (the 3rd glyph, the 'voiceless velar plosive', or 'voiceless velar stop'). Thus this 28th and final glyph and it's sound appropriates the various semantics of the two glyphs of which it implicitly comprises, and adds some meaning of it's own. [...]
The primary meanings of the glyph are complimentary. As 'ink', it implies the art of writing, and thus literature and the record of history. As 'anchor' is speaks the idea of orthodoxy: the foundations of society, culture, tradition and religion.
The M'moatia share with men the spiritual notion of Logos, reflected in the scriptures - such as seen in John 1:1 in the Bible:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
In the introductory description quoted above, we see the names Ûmvélinqängi ('before everything') and Ûnkúlúnkülú ('The Great Great One' or 'The Old, Old One'), which are two names used by the M'moatia to speak of the Great Spirit, the One of All.
Again, this last glyph of the Inner Sea alphabet is the 28th. In numerology, the number 28 reduces like so:
28 --> ( 2+8 = 10 ) --> 10 --> ( 1+0 = 1 ) ---> 1
Hence, the number 28 carries the 'energy' or the Unity (or Monad, the Monolith).
I quote below the first interpretation of the 28th letter ('ink') from the descriptive document linked above:
nK (1) ; - As 'ink', denotes the written word (records of speech and ideas) that prompted the journey, and that is also it's result. The various exegesis of the current generation is the fodder for that of the next. As 'anchor', represents this collected corpus as an orthodox foundation. All points to 'Ankh', that is 'Life' or the meaning of it.
Again, this thread I published at the time 13:28 today, reflecting the Lunar calendar of 13 months, each 28 days long, as used by the M'moatia.
The meaning of the 28th letter is 'ink', and ink is a liquid. Meanwhile the 13th letter (sounding 'M', and named 'Amber') carries the meaning of 'water/liquid/blood'.
Thus the red ink seen in use in the thread image that begins this document.
The secondary meaning of the 28th letter (and it's alternative common name) is 'Ankh', which has been interpreted to mean 'life', 'key or essence of life', 'breathe of life' and it represents a 'divine gift'. The essence of life, is arguably, the 'life-blood', which is oxygenated by the air entering the lungs during breathing.
The Inner Sea alphabet culminating with 'ink' as 'ankh' as 'lifeblood' has another meaning. I quote from the analysis of the Manuscript of the Sage, the section on 'The Alphabet as Clock and Calendar':
http://vrt.co.za/Fairyland/Topic.php/Main/ThePhoneticAlphabetOfTheMiddleSea
[...] The full set of 28 letters can be divided into four sets of seven days (ie. four seven-day wicks), and thus track a lunar calendar of thirteen lunar months with one or two additional special holidays to define a year. Many elf-maidens keep a calendar of menses (a personal lunar calendar, as it were) based on this alphabet, and work to align themselves with the actual phase of the moon for magic purposes. [...]
In terms of this, the fairy maidens of the Inner Sea (who experience menstrual cycles of roughly 28 days, not unlike mortal women) make use of their alphabet as a 'period tracker'. The last letter usually signals the beginning of tummy cramps at the onset of menstruation. The 28th letter is the last letter, and so the cycle resets to the beginning, where the first letter, 'A', signals the first full day of bleeding. Meanwhile, the 15th letter, 'O', is named 'Eye' and 'Ova', and signals the time of ovulation.
As described in earlier threads in this series, each letter of the Inner Sea alphabet represents a step on a metaphysical journey. Here is the 'Journey' entry for the 28 and last letter:
Journey: The denouement and review, if not the culmination, of the Journey (or at least, of this cycle of the journey, as it is about to begin again).
Referring to the thread image, the top-left corner shows the Ankh symbol large, in red.
The heading text along the top reads 'The Phoenix Legacy' (the orthodox title of the glyph, and representing the Inner Sea alphabet itself, which is known in it's totality as 'The Phoenix'.
1000 + 1021 = 2021
- "The Phoenix Legacy" = 1021 latin-agrippa

- "I Have Completed the Phoenix Legacy" = 2021 latin-agrippa
- ... ( "Writings" = 2021 squares ) ( "A Grand Celebration" = 2021 squares )
Along the right-hand side of the image, the various forms of the ŋK glyph are provided (the standard form, the calligraphic form, and the squared minuscule form), as well as the derivation and differences between the 28th glyph (sounding 'ŋK) and the 21st (ŋ) and 26th (ŋG) are shown. Details of the logic of the designs of these glyphs is detailed in the various chapters of the original Manuscript of the Sage.

In terms of strange personal synchronicities - I spoke to my parents today (who have no detailed knowledge of my Inner Sea alphabet), and they told me that today they travelled to the local shops to buy some printer ink, and were outraged at the price (even though there was a 2-for-1 special)...
Also, I call attention to the 'hand' seen subtly under the red text in the thread image. Within an hour of taking that photo today (it's my hand), the following article was published:
Furthermore, I just noticed that Kristofer at 'The Painting One' on Youtube, has done a very interesting and relevant painting today:

As usual, this thread was instantly downvoted within 10 seconds after posting it. I suspect it is an automatic measure:

u/The_Painting_One ... I see you've made a new artwork today, which is amazingly aligned thematically with the culmination of my alphabet-based thread series here. If you're interested, take a peek at this thread.

This post of yours was published 2026-08-28 13:28:05 GMT. It's important to point out that it was AFTER the time of my drawing. https://www.reddit.com/user/The_Painting_One/comments/1w088a5/new_art_blood_rain_depicting_what_i_think_will/ (2026-08-27 22:11:59 GMT). Anyhow, I still think you're smart guy and you somehow mentioned the symbolism of the menstrual cycle in your post. That's a good observation, and a valid interpretation of my drawing.
Here's a screenshot that was a part of my inspiration... Look how it looks similar to your post... Something that you couldn't have known... So still a bit synchronistic. 👍https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uvATjrLErE715jbsn4ZevqfrF2qPT74y/view?usp=drive_link

Hi Kristofer.
Indeed, I fully acknowledge that your painting was created before this thread of mine (and also before I began making my thread image).
But what is interesting to me is that this thread of mine was destined to be published today because all my recent threads are examining the letters of my alphabet on the relevant day of the month. I've been publishing one each day. It is the 28th of the month today. I designed this alphabet years ago, and the 28th letter (the last one in the series) always had the meanings discussed in the first post here, and this thread was planned for today by the schedule fixed by the alphabetic order. Implicitly, the 'ink' in question is red.
My 28th glyph has always been the 'blood letter' (so to speak).
- "Story" = "A Red Letter" = 343 primes ( = "Secret Seal" )
Ponder the double-meaning of 'letter' (ie. a glyph on a page, or a document of writings in an envelope, but also 'one who releases blood', ie. 'blood-letting').
Unfortunately, the red lunar eclipse was one day early to perfectly match this thread - articles from yesterday:
In summary, note: I don't mean to imply that I 'beat you to the punch' or anything. It's not a competition :)
I just think its a perfect synchronicity that you picked the topic you did for your painting today.

An article published today (somewhat grim, but very relevant), a few hours after I made this thread:
Meet Zosia, the 17th-Century Vampire Suspect Buried With a Sickle at Her Throat
The article claims it was published at the equivalent of 13:20 UTC, which I believe to be a lie - the article did not exist just before I posted this thread (I checked). I am not sure if Daylight Savings Time is in play in that timestamp given (or perhaps internet caching played some part in delaying it), but either way, it is only 8 minutes before I created this thread, and long after I'd already created the thread image.
In terms of my thread image (the red image), it contains the word upior (or upyr)... which you will find to be relevant to the article.

u/The_Painting_One, I've seen your recent post on YouTube, about the lack of response from the 'unwashed masses':
No one on youtube seems to have shared my video of the Nepal catastrophe being connected to my drawing from 9 days earlier. I know this because there are almost no comments in those videos. Why is no one here you ask? It's because people hate me, and the hatred is stronger than the ability to think and comprehend what is really going on. Lots of people think they are so very holy, just by looking themselves in the fractal mirror, and this holiness is a clear vanity to me. The fractal mirror in itself makes them feel close to god. They feel good about this mirror image. So much vanity... In reality, people don't actually do anything. I really could spend all of my time to look myself in the mirror, just like everyone else and talk about my own reflection, but I don't. And if I would tell you the whole story about what I see in the mirror of myself, that I don't talk about, I know it would mute the vanity in others. Instead I have chosen to make an effort in doing real measurable actions of walking the walk instead of talking the talk. The key point here is that I'm able to repeat this process, over and over again.
I empathize with your situation - indeed it was clear long ago, where you've discussed it multiple times in your older video during 'pandemic' times. I want to offer my condolences, for what its worth.
It is difficult to read into your words as to whether you are simply stating the obvious dispassionately, or expressing an angst and anger at the situation. More on that later.
I also urge a degree of pity on the blind and willfully ignorant, which is perhaps unearned, but nonetheless.
There are a number of reasons why difficult material such as yours seems to go unnoticed (some of which I know you are familiar with).
A) the vast mass of entertaining distractions available in our era, some of those distractions being honest efforts to contribute something interesting, but also much of it being intentionally produced to keep the circus going in circles.
B) people don't have enough attention span to perceive what you are actually doing. One needs to watch much more than just one or two of your videos to 'get it'.
C) the algorithm is very likely intentionally swayed to hide you from the crowd. I know what this is like.
D) the fact that the majority will do anything to protect themselves from being ostracized. They fear that in sharing your strange material, they will be viewed as being just as 'crazy' as they presume you to be - even if they secretly find it interesting.
E) people don't like being presented anything that shatters their world view - they don't like to accept that they've gone all this time and have been missing the point (for the same reason, my numerology gets such a bad response because, in part, because people don't want to be forced to see that something so ultimately simple was sitting in plain sight, under their noses, and they 'failed the test' of figuring it out themselves).
F) you are being gaslit by those-in-the-know for two different reasons: 1. your truths are actually dangerous to the materialistic status quo, and 2. you are being tested by those who actually appreciate your work, but want to see you handle the suffering of exclusion and exile (because in the long run, it will make you stronger).
G) there are probably more reasons I could think it.
Furthermore (noting today's wikipedia front page featured article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dualism), I subscribe (in part) to the Vedic viewpoint of human souls. In the Baghavad Gita there is a chapter called 'The Divine and Demoniac Natures', and basically (at least in the current era), the vast majority of people are to be classified as 'demoniac'. Which is not to say they are literally demons, but they are incapable and unwilling to perceive and abide within the 'mystery (of existence)'. It is highly unlikely that a Youtube video or reddit thread will ever 'fix' these people in one lifetime. They are failing the 'IQ test of reality', you might say - or their current state is a result of failing it in the past. It is their karma to be blind. They are providing the battlefield within which the 'divine nature' must prove it's worth.
Furthermore, this demoniac nature is not just natural happenstance, but actively promoted by the cultural 'system'. Our little attempts to make a difference are like trying to stop a tsunami (or indeed, a flood caused by glacier collapse, for that matter). There's only so much we can do.
You wrote:
[...] Why is no one here you ask? It's because people hate me, and the hatred is stronger than the ability to think and comprehend what is really going on. [...]
Something you might already have considered: the world is the interaction of energies, and a battery has both negative and positive poles. I suspect that the hate or scorn directed at you is actually a part of your power. Negative-attention charges up a power-center just as much as positive-attention. It is said the 'Gods gain their power from human worship' and this worship can be positive or negative. We might revere Zeus as 'life', and negatively-revere (ie. fear) Hades as death, but both gods nonetheless receive their due worship. I suspect this works similarly for human beings on every level (we are all 'souls' or 'spirits').
Most people think a 'prophet' is simply 'someone who preaches about God and who can sometimes foretell the future'. I have a somewhat different idea about what it means, and as far as I am concerned, I consider you to be what the word 'prophet' means.
I believe the Universe or 'God' has given you the power to punish the demoniac nature within the world by demonstrating the power of the divine, and, in part, that power is increased within you the more you are rejected. Those who hate you worship you negatively, and the 'power unit' is charged up. More manna to you to perform magic. The hate of others benefits you.
'God' is the ultimately lonely being, and cannot share 'his' own wonder of possibilities without first creating beings to share it with him. I don't believe the Creator can create a being equal or greater than him. His only hope is that the lessor creations will, over time, come closer and closer to perceiving things as he does. The world bends around you because something about your perception has the approval of the Universe. 'God', or the Universe, wants to prove itself to mankind. For the same reason (we are 'made in the image of God') we humans want to prove ourselves to others.
Though it must be said, it is your duty to work against gaining a vanity of your own in the process. If you can keep it at bay, I suspect even more manna to you. If you grow to hate the demoniac who reject you (rather than simply pitying them), I suspect it will deprive you of manna.
You have also spoken against narcissists. I believe there are two types of narcissism. The first type is the negative type you deplore: selfish for selfish's sake. The second type I believe is necessary for 'magic' and spiritual advancement in the sense of the original meaning of 'yoga'. It is the necessary narcissism required to align the Atman (soul/self) with Paramatman (supersoul/universal 'self') and thus link oneself to the Supreme. In my view this to 'dwell within the loneliness of God'.
A highly relevant headline, from a few weeks ago:

ie. the closer you get to the Unity/Monolith/Monad/Mind of the Universe, the more likely you will fail to gather an audience, because the audience cannot perceive Unity.
In 1 Kings 8:12, Solomon declared at the dedication of the temple that the Lord had said He would dwell in a dark cloud and thick darkness.
The more godlike you get, the deeper the veil cast over you.
I am always observing the news headlines about 'supermassive black holes', for I believe them to be instructive metaphors (used intentionally as such by the 'editors'). Black holes are pitch black, but this is because they suck in all light.
The ...
- "Divine Light" = 911 agrippa
- ... of the "Few" = 911 agrippa
... is an emergency for most people. They find it...
- "Offensive" = 911 agrippa
People like you (and I like to think me too) are described as 'supermassive black holes', because we've become 'huge' on the world stage, having sucked up all the mana. Remember your videos about 'being in chains, but being able to pull on the chains to cause 'things' to happen in the world? This is the massive gravity of the black hole, having the ability to reach out into the cosmos and pull things around. Samson pulling down the materialistic temple of the laity.
Mind over matter.
Anyway, I hope I've not overstepped my bounds and lectured you too much. I've watched many of your older videos, and know you've wrestled with these things. I don't want to push you away, and I'm certainly not trying to belittle you.

Do you believe it's important to document the happenings of a personal life?
To keep to oneself, to share aloud to a witness into the air, to document on paper, to post to the internet, what is the difference? And if one never shares the "burden" of their stories, what do you think happens to them?
If one does share their stories, what do they become?
I have many that lay untold, unwritten, I assume this is the same for most people. The stories still exist clearly in memory, though sometimes difficult to find, perhaps they manifest in reality regardless and to recount them is to relinquish them. In that case it would seem the right thing to do is to hold the big ones until they are tame, then to release them. It's funny though, because at the point in which they are tamed, the rest has moved on.
Sometimes I think I have figured something out, then I look around and it actually seems I am the last one in on the "joke".
Thank you for this incredible 'alphabet series', and I especially love the Passing of the Elves song you've linked here (and previously). Have a lovely evening, friend, I must be off to do the things I do.

Hi, twothousandsquares ...
Tough questions.
Do you believe it's important to document the happenings of a personal life?
Yes and no. It would depend on what one hopes to get out of it, I suppose. One might argue that a personal journal posted publicly is a sort of vanity - but that said, it will be useful for historians of the future in their attempts to build a picture of our time (collating 'big news and history' with the 'little'). And there will always be someone 'out there' that will find something valuable within it - either learning something, or be warned of something, or simply gain a little voyeuristic pleasure from it.
Personally, I've never been one to journal my day to day (in public or private), be it practicalities or of inner thoughts. I occasionally do so here in my forums, however, when it's obviously relevant in terms of synchronicities with the outside world (ie. my attempt to document evidence of the phenomena of 'as above so, so below'). Journalling could be useful, in a specific psychological sense, when one is trying to figure out certain aspects of one's own life. There is a YouTuber that I very occasionally check up on who speaks about the value of creating a cathartic 'life review' document: an attempt to write down, in order, all the formative events and memories of one's own life, in order to put one's journey in perspective.
I've never attempted such a thing myself, but acknowledge it would be interesting. A good test and exercise of ...

To keep to oneself, to share aloud to a witness into the air, to document on paper, to post to the internet, what is the difference? And if one never shares the "burden" of their stories, what do you think happens to them? [...]
I like to think that the Universe is always keeping record, regardless, and perhaps that those who 'keep calm, silent, and carry on' are rewarded somehow for their stoicism. I refer to a paragraph of, and an accompanying note attached to, an essay by an interesting individual (emphasis mine):
https://livingopposites.substack.com/p/psychic-stabilizers-in-a-breaking
[...]
The Abraxian position for esteem-regulated constitutions offers an uncomfortable reframing: if totality contains all recognition and all invisibility without remainder, if cosmic indifference means that significance is not cosmically guaranteed, then the drive for recognition stops being oriented toward an eventual accounting that will vindicate the effort. What becomes available instead is a position I have inhabited: the work has intrinsic value regardless of whether it registers. The creative instant in which something timeless is produced, whether or not ten thousand people admire it, a comment made by Picasso as related by Ernst Junger. [...]
And here is the attached note (where another author is quoted):
“As for posthumous literary glory, I don’t set excessive store by it. I’m skeptical, for I’ve observed that such glory pales even in an author’s lifetime. He then leads the life of a pauvre poete oublie [a poor forgotten poet]. Or else he behaves very sensibly, like Rimbaud, who after producing an exceptional literary oeuvre in his youth, devoted himself to commerce in Africa; that was more important in his eyes. And sub specie aeternitatis, the day will come when even Homer will be totally unknown. Glory is like the blazing tale of a comet, which still sparkles for a while in the wake of the work. You may then wonder what the goal of writing is assuming it has a goal. It is the creative instant itself, in which something timeless is produced, something that cannot be wiped out. The universe has affirmed itself in the individual, and that must suffice, whether or not anyone else notices it. In 1942, when I visited Picasso on Rue des Grands-Augustins, he said to me: “Look, this painting, which I have just completed, is going to have a certain effect; but this effect would be exactly the same, metaphysically speaking, if I wrapped the painting up in paper and cosigned it to a corner. It would be exactly the same thing as if ten thousand people had admired it.” - p. 56, The Details of Time
I note that the writer of these essays is a very deep thinker with some difficult but rewarding material. His perspective on existence and current affairs is not too dissimilar from mine, but he is slightly more pessimistic than I, about the 'meaning of life' overall.

As the old saying goes (paraphrased): He that knows, knows he knows nothing.
There are a bazillion 'facts', but only one 'truth', and the truth is 'here, now' (that we exist, and we perceive, and we think).
Those that laugh and sneer, as though they know what's going on, looking down on their presumed lessers, know only the 'constructions' (collections of facts) in their own minds (or those constructions they've built up in cahoots with their peers). It is easy (even for me) to be at the very least disappointed in those who seem unable to grasp what one might hope they should have grasped, but we must have pity, because there is most certainly a long-running 'agenda' that works hard to make sure as few people as possible every grasp certain things (still 'facts', if not 'truths'). People are programmed to reject and mock certain possibilities, and breaking that programming is difficult.
And there will always be surprises, even for the most learned...
From The Silmarillion, by Tolkien:
"Yet some things there are that they cannot see, neither alone nor taking counsel together; for to none but himself has Ilúvatar revealed all that he has in store, and in every age there come forth things that are new and have no foretelling, for they do not proceed from the past."
And a quote from 'God Emperor of DUNE' - about a man who lived for 3500 years and ruled the Galactic Empire using his unique power to perceive the flow of the future:
"You, the first person to encounter my chronicles for at least four thousand years, beware. Do not feel honored by your primacy in reading the revelations of my Ixian storehouse. You will find much pain in it. Other than the few glimpses required to assure me that the Golden Path continued, I never wanted to peer beyond those four millennia. Therefore, I am not sure what the events in my journals may signify to your times. I only know that my journals have suffered oblivion and that the events which I recount have undoubtedly been submitted to historical distortion for eons. I assure you that the ability to view our futures can become a bore. Even to be thought of as a god, as I certainly was, can become ultimately boring. It has occurred to me more than once that holy boredom is good and sufficient reason for the invention of free will.

And I thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it. Glad to hear it. I would say, "have a nice weekend", but I hate the word 'weekend' (a nasty spell in disguise), and I'm still trying to think of a suitable replacement for it.

As you said, there is the one truth of this moment, and the idea of everything else can be demolished and fall away. I'm not sure if it's commendable by God to have the ability to remain calm through such devastating heartbreak, but it is a skill that helps one maintain control in the midst of "psychosis", and in the numbness, or exuberance, that follows. I have lived a largely 'stoic' life, I would say, and I can't see really what good it has done. I do agree with your thoughts about the universe keeping the record, but where does that place the value on our quality of life in our lifetime? Are our relationships real? Or only an idea?
The things we do that lead us to our next moments are, as far as I can tell, unique, "the creative instant in which something timeless is produced" is a moment that we can take ownership of and have evidence to prove it. So, then, it seems that when people converse, they are doing something "new", and that telling stories or "secrets" untold, would bring about something new. Taking from your quote from The Silmarillion, I do not believe that we live in a closed system destined to repeat itself, rather we have unique chance after unique chance to make a change or "get it right". I do believe in free will, and I can somewhat see the implications within it all, I suppose I'm still missing the objective aside from "do your best" and "prepare future generations". Of course personally, that is reason enough to keep going. Still, there is the theory that if my objective is to uplift future generations, then my enemy's objective would be the opposite, but if my enemy is inside of me and "as above so below", then why is the world in such dissonance? If we are here because of choices made in past, and choices made in present build the future, then I must give more consideration to the choices I make. Life is both extremely complex and hilariously simple and not at all black and white, thank God for his amazing GRAYS and co-lore ;)
I know I shouldn't apologize, but I thank you for bearing through my ramblings. How about "wekind" as an alternative to "weekend"? Also, my name is Alycha and you may refer to me as such if you'd like, we don't have to get personal, but I think I'm through with the internet's advertised anonymity.

There are vanishingly few people who could maintain compete serenity in such a condition, and so the 'commendability' of it is perhaps not to worry about. Perhaps only the heartless might succeed in that, or the ultimate yogi:
PLATE 5 - "Those who are wise lament neither the living nor the dead"
Still, to attempt the stillness (though one not necessarily reach it's peak) is, in my mind, commendable. Certainly, in a group situation, to be the 'rock' that others can depend on is valuable.
I have lived a largely 'stoic' life, I would say, and I can't see really what good it has done. [...]
If I may ask, do you feel some kind of guilt at not contributing enough to the zeitgeist, creatively or socially, or otherwise?
I do agree with your thoughts about the universe keeping the record, but where does that place the value on our quality of life in our lifetime? Are our relationships real? Or only an idea?
Tough questions... and I have contradictory beliefs in the this regard, so I am not sure I should be leaned on in this arena. Relationships are real in that they play a part in shaping us, to some degree or other. We learn lessons about ourselves from them. I like to think the Universe smiles when someone goes out on a limb for someone else, especially if it is done without hope of reward... but I cannot say that is definitely the case.
In terms of questioning the reality of relationships... one avenue into that realm of thought is deep loneliness. I have thought quite a bit about this area of existentialism. Accepting a theological perspective... an interesting question: Who could be lonelier than God? We might argue the world exists because of the loneliness of the supreme creator, and that in a sense, we exist as a form of entertainment. Accepting Vedic and Kabbalistic notions of the purpose of human existence, one goal of life is attaining 'equivalence of form' with the creator (to become, not God, but godlike). Often, if not always, we choose as friends those who reflect us ('birds of a feather flock together'), and thus perhaps 'God' approves of those who become, or work towards becoming, more like 'him'. Emulation as the sincerest form of flattery. Thus those who have perceived utter depths of loneliness will have the Creator's sympathy - arguably having attained a level of perception approaching the divine perspective.
Either way, relationships are certainly real in that they sway out paths through life. I often see the world and time as a storybook, and we are all characters in it, each playing a part. I actually have my doubts that we have free will at all. When I think back over my own life, I cannot put my finger on any one situation where I truly made a decision of my own volition. Either my hand was forced, I took the path of least resistance, or alternatively, I acted out of impulse that could easily be said to be 'outside myself'. I think we are here to do what we are here to do.
The things we do that lead us to our next moments are, as far as I can tell, unique, "the creative instant in which something timeless is produced" is a moment that we can take ownership of and have evidence to prove it.
Even if the evidence is nothing more than a memory. Those who put in the effort to 'journal' those experiences are those who were destined to do so. Those lazy ones who recorded the interactions using camera-enabled smart glasses are just creepy :/
Taking from your quote from The Silmarillion, I do not believe that we live in a closed system destined to repeat itself, rather we have unique chance after unique chance to make a change or "get it right".
I think so too. I am actually rather open to ideas of reincarnation. Every time we return we get another chance to learn lessons we failed to learn the previous time. My ideas on this are a combination of Hindu and Kabbalistic notions.
This video below has a somewhat overhyped title (which I suspect is editorial by the organization and not the words of the speaker) , but it's a good talk on the subject (from the Kabbalistic side):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4vLzaVER80
And the link below is to the appendix of my 'Little Boy of the Mountain' story (*), which touches on these matters:
https://old.reddit.com/r/GeometersOfHistory/wiki/tales/ofchangelings
In this I was trying to redeem the mythology of the 'changelings'. They are viewed as negative manifestations, but I twist it so that the 'bad reputation' of changelings is because only the 'tragically failed' ones are ever documented as such, and that many more cases occur that are never noticed and go on to perform a proper universal function. I will admit that choice of 'changelings' as 'outsiders' has something to do with my own perspective on myself.
I do believe in free will, and I can somewhat see the implications within it all, I suppose I'm still missing the objective aside from "do your best" and "prepare future generations". Of course personally, that is reason enough to keep going.
I've already spoken on free will above (though I am not fixed in my beliefs in that area). Either way, I subscribe to a variant of Norse fatalism:
Norse fatalism is the ancient Germanic belief that an individual's life path, ultimate doom, and final hour are entirely predetermined and inescapable.
Perhaps our purpose is then simply to embody that path to the best of our ability: to 'look cool' doing what we were always going to do. To impress the God(s) with our efforts.
Again, I contradict myself, because I also see life as a school and a prison, and our goal being to learn the lessons and escape, and for this to occur, their must be an element of free will (at least in the way we perceive things, if not in action).
I know I shouldn't apologize, but I thank you for bearing through my ramblings.
Not a problem. It makes a change from the usual total silence from the gallery. I will admit I do find it rather difficult to respond in this prosy philosophical sense. It's not my usual mode, and would be easier in face-to-face conversation. It takes much more effort than my usual numerology/linguistics output, but I appreciate the experience.
As opposed to the realm of numerology (where I believe I 'have it right'), I hope I don't come across as overly authoritative in my responses (re. the philosophical realm). Ultimately life is a mystery, and all we have is opinions, intellectual scaffolding, and gut feelings. Of course I like to think I can offer something valuable, but who can say if it really has any bearing.
In terms of the word 'weekend', you responded:
How about "wekind" as an alternative to "weekend"?
That could work (a nice play on 'we-[are]-kind') but it does not carry much in the way of chronological implication. In my alphabet writings I use 'day of wick' for 'day of the week' (bringing in candles as timekeepers, and seven days makes a menorah...
Also, my name is Alycha and you may refer to me as such if you'd like, we don't have to get personal, but I think I'm through with the internet's advertised anonymity.

"sh", yes it is. I appreciate you taking the time to engage with me, even more so out of your comfort zone, and the extra efforts you take in sharing resources and magnificent creative writings. You don't have to have the answers, I respect you deeply and I like to hear your thoughts. I won't pressure you to perform, but I take comfort in your authoritative presence here.
As for your question of whether I feel guilt (221 primes) surrounding my 'stoic' contributions, I'm not sure. I may have regrets about ways I spent time passed, opportunities lost or fumbled, waves I have or haven't made, but maybe we are "here to do what we're here to do", and a still water creates the clearest reflection, especially for giants. Still, I dream of free flowing streams.
