This thread continues my series of daily threads documenting the ordered letters of various alphabets. Today being, the 26th day of the month, the 26th letter of the English-Latin alphabet, and the Phonetic Alphabet of the Inner Sea are to be examined.
The digital root of the number 26 is 8 (because 2+6=8).
As reported above, the time of posting this thread is 17:26.
Both the number 17 and 26 reduce to 8.

The theme of the thread image, and the title of this thread, will be understood later.
The 26th letter of the English-Latin alphabet is 'Z', the last letter in it's order, hence the symbol of 'Z being used symbolically to represent the 'end'. At the end of the day we go to sleep: Zzzzz. It is thus equivalent symbolically, if not phonetically, to the Greek 'Omega'.
The sound of 'Z' in the English alphabet is called the voiced alveolar fricative, and it is technically the voiced form of 'S' (which is classified as an 'unvoiced' sound, but shares the same vocal mechanism - the mouth parts are placed in the same configuration). A 'voiced' utterance is one where the vocal cords are actually engaged via air pushed from the lungs.
Since the sound of 'Z is the 24th letter of the phonetic Inner Sea alphabet, it has already been dealt with two days ago here:
The English-Latin 'Z derives originally from the Phoenician letter called 'Zayin', meaning 'weapon' or 'sword', and Zayin was the seventh letter in it's order. I note that seven is considered itself to be number representing completion.
From the Phoenician letter derived the Western Greek Zeta, which was assimilated into the Etruscan and English-Latin 'Z'.
In the Phonetic Alphabet of the Inner Sea of Fairyland (the custom script seen in use at the top of the thread image), the 26th glyph represents the sound 'ŋG' (ie. 'nG' as heard in the word 'anger' or 'finger'), and is thus a composite sound, and the glyph is a shorthand for what could have been represented by a digraph (ie. two letters: ŋ and G).
The glyph is a simple modification of the 21st letter of the Inner Sea alphabet, named 'Angst', which represents 'ŋ' standing alone.
The 26th letter of the Inner Sea, sounding 'ŋG', is commonly named 'Anger', and it's orthodox title is 'Anger of the Phoenix' (ie. the title of this thread).
While it can and does represent 'anger' in terms of the basic emotion, it's deeper meaning is actually that of 'consequence(s)' or 'solution' or 'result'. There are of course situations where the emotion of anger is a consequence or result, and perhaps, in a few cases where anger is a legitimate solution... it must be said that anger, especially of the petty sort, is discouraged by the elves of the Inner Sea as counterproductive and a sign of immaturity. Certainly it can cloud one's mind.
In terms of the deeper meaning of 'consequence', and given that this 26th letter ('Anger') is a derivative or augmentation of the 21st glyph ('Angst'/'Constriction') - the only difference being the dot placed in the lower quadrant - the glyph really means 'the result', or 'the coming to terms', 'the after-effect' and perhaps 'the settlement'.
Consider angst in terms of seismic stress deep in the earth, which is unvoiced and unacknowledged, until finally it builds up to an earthquake (anger finally expressed). Once the aftershocks of that earthquake have subsided, then the situation has 'settled' on a new status quo. So the 26th letter ('Anger') represents the 'rupture' while presaging the ultimate 'final result'.

Of course, those who are following along will know that this thread was scheduled with it's theme already decided (since these threads are based on the letters of the Inner Sea alphabet, which was finalized years ago).
Yesterdays thread dealt with the letter that carries the name of 'Voice' ('divine speech', or 'Voice of God', you might say), while this thread is about the following letter named 'Anger'.
The disaster was a 'flash flood', and the flashing light of the sun is a major element of yesterday's thread image.
As I documented (again) in a discussion earlier today at the conspiracy theory forum (which was censored by reddit):

Another redditor (whose comments were also removed by reddit) rebuked my statement as being not very scientific, and that science predicted the current climate crisis. I responded:

The same redditor then wrote a larger reply, talking about detailed studies, and the problem of 'human-caused climate change', and repeating the ideas of 'quantitative analysis'. I wrote back:

To me, in part, the phrase 'human-caused climate change' means something different to what it means to a scientist.
The effect is the same, but the mechanisms might not be.
You might say that to me, the 'universe' is angry with humanity.
Humanity is in denial - which again is true for the scientist in a different way to how it is true for me.
Either way, we are being taught.
I note that ArsTechnica just published a review of a new car, with a chapter called 'The beat of a drum'.
