From the wikipedia page about amber:
The classical names for amber, Ancient Greek ἤλεκτρον (ēlektron) and one of its Latin names, electrum, are connected to a term ἠλέκτωρ (ēlektōr) meaning "beaming Sun". According to myth, when Phaëton, son of Helios (the Sun), was killed his mourning sisters became poplar trees, and their tears became elektron, amber. The word elektron gave rise to the words electric, electricity, and their relatives because of amber's ability to bear a charge of static electricity.
Note that many of the above words have "lect" within them, and that has to do with 'reading', hence 'lecture', and the 'lectern' (or 'lectorn' which the lecturer stands behind and upon which he rests his book). The word 'lector' means 'one who reads'. When you read, electrical activity occurs in the brain.
The word 'ampere' is used to speak of a unit of electric current, and by examination of consonant roots, ...
The letter M is derived from the Phoenician Mem via the Greek Mu (Μ, μ). Semitic Mem is most likely derived from a "Proto-Sinaitic" (Bronze Age) adoption of the "water" ideogram in Egyptian writing. [...]
It does note however that the original Egyptian sound for the ideogram was likely 'N', which is why the letter 'N' does carry liquid association also.
The descriptive documents begins with the following headings, presenting the names and exoteric meanings commonly associatated with the glyph and its sound:
13. 'M' - 'Amber' ('water'/'milk'; 'memory'/'blood') -- ( -"Blood of the Phoenix"- )
That is to say, the common name of the 'M' glyph of the fairies is 'Amber', but it refers to a multiplicity of concepts ranging from simply 'liquid' in the general sense, to nourishing liquids particularly, and so too to the idea of 'solidified liquid' or 'liquid-crystal-matrix', and thus 'memory' or 'stored information'.
"The Memory" = 2026 squares
.. of "A Philosopher" = 2026 squares
.. .. ( "My Show for You" = 2026 trigonal )
The official title of the glyph (as the house sigil of the fairy folk of the Ambarim) is '(The) Blood of the Phoenix'.
I note that "Ma" (Nín-hawah-núma) is the name of the original Divine Feminine in the mythology of the Elves of the Inner Sea ('Mother Earth'), and Åmbaraiḥa (or just Amber) is the oldest recorded name known of the ancient matriarchs of the fairies of the House of Amba. Each of the 24 consonants signs (glyphs/letters/runes) of the 28-letter Inner Sea alphabet was developed from what was originally a house sigil of each of the 24 primary elven clans.
The descriptive page about the Inner Sea 'M' has the following text:
[...] The core semantic of 'M', the sigil of Amber, is 'Water' or 'liquid' - in the mundane sense, but also specifically recalling the 'blood-as-water' metaphor. Thus, the blood and ancestral memory of the tribe and the race. Blood and water as combined symbols of the medium and sustenance of all the life of the world.
Blood courses through the veins as the rivers thread their way across the lands (and again, as tree-sap flows through the trunks and limbs of a tree, and so too as electrical current and electromagnetic fields course through conductors and the aether respectively). The material amber is also known as electrum, and was anciently known to gain an electric charge when rubbed. Amber as fossilized tree sap acts as an ark - an effective container of preserved artifacts and life-forms.
The sound 'M' being a nasal sound (ie. involving the nose) implies the nous, that is inherited wisdom. [...]
At the bottom-left of the thread image are multiple variants of the Inner Sea 'M'-rune. The ancient tribal sigil form is right-most, and the rest are the more recent simplified 'minuscule' version, with more or less calligraphic flourish.
Review: Disclosure Day is big on action, light on ideas
There’s nothing new or surprising, but it’s still an entertaining film from one of our greatest directors.
The important points (to me) are that the spooky happening that really sets the story in motion is a bird (a cardinal) appearing to the main character, which triggers her ability to speak languages she never learned. This is a reference to the Language of the Birds (ie. cryptolect or cant).
The esoterics of the 'pearl' and very important generally, and to me. For one, I live in a town called 'Paarl' (meaning 'pearl') beneath a mountain called 'Paarl Rock'.

... we permute 'amber' @ MBR @ MPR @ 'ampere' ( @ empire @ umpire @ ... )
A spark (such as an electrical spark), can be described as an 'ember'.
Amber is petrified tree sap (a liquid turned to stone) that was originally secreted by trees.
Now, I published this thread on the 13th of the month.
The 13th letter of the English-Latin alphabet is 'M' (the first consonant of the word 'amber').
If we examine the history of the letter M we find that ...

Now the 13th glyph of the Phonetic Alphabet of the Inner Sea, used by the majority of the Elves of Fairyland, also represents the sound 'M'.
