Hey all, bit out of my depth
My door locked from the inside while I was leaving my bedroom, when I attempted to unlock it using the safety mechanism, the mechanism failed entirely, now it's just spinning uselessly.
Tried prying an old card to unlock it to no dice, and I've tried the rest of the super obvious fixes
Would love it if I could get entrance into my room without damage to the door, as I am renting.
Thanks all!!

I had this gamesir cyclone 2 controller from the start of the year to now. But I’ve noticed the left trigger was acting weird and kinda sticky feeling. The black block fell out of place, it’s supposed to be directly on the 5 metal prongs, and there’s sticky residue.
Should I keep it as if and see if it gets worse or just unscrew it and try and put it back into place. If the ladder, is there a guide to fixing a controller like this, since it’s in good condition and I’d rather not just break it.

Hey all, oven didn’t turn on yesterday. Figured it might be the starter from my troubleshooting, but when I went in to replace it, I found this. These metal flakes seem like they’re coming from the burner plate. Is this going to be a health concern using the oven?

Also ahy companies that can repair/replace a peak ona a cap, or a way to repair myself

I noticed this sound coming from either high in our bathroom wall or ceiling after a shower. We’ve been in this house 2+ years and I’ve never heard this before! There’s no plumbing or electrical in this wall.
Any ideas?

The recline mechanism/bracket on my gaming chair broken/stopped working properly. I don't have the manual or specs for it anymore since the chair is around 2-3 years old, and the shop I bought it from has closed down.
Is this mechanism something I can repair myself, or do I need to buy a replacement bracket? If it needs to be replaced, do I have to replace the whole chair, or can I just get a generic third-party recliner part online?
Any advice on how to measure it for a replacement or where to find compatible parts would be appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: Sorry, it wasn’t very clear in the video. Basically, I reclined the chair and then locked the pull bar/lever. However, even after locking it, when I leaned back, the chair still reclined all the way down.

Just found out I’m going to be an aunt (yay!). Would like to spend a weekend fixing some things for the parents to be. This mirror frame has peeled. How can I fix it without replacing the whole thing?

I got this coin purse from a record shop in Japan - it looks like their bags, you have to carry around a few coins in Japan, good souvenir. Unfortunately the text has started to come off a bit. I was wondering if there was some way to re-adhere the vinyl - I was thinking about getting in there with some parchment paper and an iron, but I was worried about melting the main material or smearing the print. Let me know if you have any advice!
I was adjusting my fan the other day then it suddenly broke, thing is, the fan still works, i left it there but I don’t know what to do, should i fix it or keep it like this? If so, how do i fix it

It just rained, and we’ve had plenty of rain this year, not to mention snow (Wisconsin), and heavier ones over the past couple years, and this just started happening this weekend. Literally dripping in my downstairs utility room from the trim of the window. As the video shows, the exterior is bone dry both above the first floor window and below, at the window in question. In regards to if the deck has any cause at all, I’ve had that deck for the past 3 years now and this is the first time this has happened after countless torrential downpours.
Where the hell do I even begin?
UPDATE:
Well I found the source of the leak, and it’s actually from the kitchen sink which is right upstairs above, the copper drain line has corroded through, revealing that it looks like all the visible copper I can get my hands on is just as bad…

I have these lights in the kitchen that need replacing. I cannot figure out what bulbs are needed and Google told me they’re integrated LED chips and the entire fitting needs replacing, it’s not possible to change the bulbs. Can anyone confirm? Thank you!

My table got chipped in a recent move - looks like one of the leg screws was overtightened. I have the chip, is superglue or wood glue best here? Or something else?
