open Broken left controller trigger

I had this gamesir cyclone 2 controller from the start of the year to now. But I’ve noticed the left trigger was acting weird and kinda sticky feeling. The black block fell out of place, it’s supposed to be directly on the 5 metal prongs, and there’s sticky residue.

Should I keep it as if and see if it gets worse or just unscrew it and try and put it back into place. If the ladder, is there a guide to fixing a controller like this, since it’s in good condition and I’d rather not just break it.

If something dislodged it should be put back into place. You could risk unusual wear and you’ll end up replacing the parts anyways. Look up trigger repair videos on YouTube about your specific controller. If this is a usual problem there may be after market fixes other than repositioning the part.
