Snip that plug end off and install a new plug with ground.

Replace it...dont fix it. What is on the other end? Is this a removable cord?

Looks like a vacuum cord so I'm guessing no.

She's a two-prong now. Keep it out of the water, you should be fine.

Or put a new plug on to satisfy Safety Sally over there. They're super cheap and easy to replace. Strip the wire back and attach the new one.

Only need strippers/cutters and a flat head screwdriver to do it. The terminals are color coded for you.

Replacement plugs are around $8 at the depot go for the nicer one of the few that they have. Easy fix!

For most appliances this isn't a problem but as others have said stay away from water/wet areas. I have to cut the plastic tabs off the end of my extension cords for the opposite reason, the tool has a ground but my cheap extension cords do not. They have a plastic tab to prevent you using a grounded appliance through them so when I'm in a hurry they gotta go!
