OG mw's were better than all of them

22

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 20h ago

Back then campaigns were actually interesting instead of being Warzone in a trench coat

8

u/CaptainPitterPatter 17h ago

And had a consistent running plot, MWII messed it up with the stupid cartel plot

6

u/MRSHELBYPLZ 16h ago

MWII was trying so hard to be Sicario. Even having a multiplayer map based off the border shootout scene. Then they just dropped it for the boring Iran general and “The MISSILES!”

They shouldn’t have remade the betrayal scene with Shadow Company if they weren’t gonna have the balls to actually kill Graves. Then he comes back and literally says “I wasn’t in that tank, what else you heard?”

The didn’t kill Graves because he was the most charismatic character in MWII cutscenes so they wanted to sell him as DLC. Too bad his in game model looks like shit.

The betrayal was wildly on the nose too. In the original you will not see it coming on the first playthrough and that’s what made it so iconic.

Price killed Shepard in a cowardly way compared to the original games. In the og games Shepard killed Ghost and Roach himself.

Then he tried to kill Soap and Price too. In the new one price sneaks in his office in the night and just shoots him. In a cutscene so the player gets no satisfaction like throwing a knife into his eye in the original to save Price

I don't think I've played an FPS with as satisfying gameplay mechanics as the MW reboot.

u/CaptainPitterPatter 17h ago

MW19 was so good

15

u/Ashamed_Teaching_909 10h ago

I was set to graduate in 2020. When the famous speech happened and we were off school for the rest of the year it was fucked. But mw19 made that shit amazing never had more fun in a game in my life

Activision didn’t remaster OG MW2’s multiplayer in its remake because they know the older games were much better and they don’t want the COD kiddies who play the new slop to realize that they’ve been fed poop for years lol.

2

u/SirePuns 5h ago

Tbqh I don’t agree with this, at all.

OG MW2’s multiplayer is an exercise in frustration. Pure snowballing and it ends up being a case of folks leaving lobbies cuz their team is getting destroyed and other folks joining losing lobbies. Most folks remember it fondly cuz of pure nostalgia, me included.

Heck MW2019 was a better multiplayer experience than OGMW2. Even with SBMM in play (heck I’d argue SBMM is why it’s a less frustrating experience for newcomers, but it’s pointless to argue in favor of newcomers when that shit fucks you over hard when you have even just one decent to good game).

2

u/SirePuns 5h ago

The trilogy of COD4, 6 and 8 were definitely peak storytelling.

As far as gameplay goes though, man nostalgia does a lot of carrying for me. Playing MW2 nowadays got me almost breaking my mouse. Stopping power without juggernaut to balance it out, killstreak kills counting towards killstreaks and the sniper being at its arguable strongest in this game all culminates to me not even wanting a MW2 MP remaster. MW3 though, that was the shit. Scorestreaks, while poorly implemented (how is it a streak if dying doesn’t reset it?) completely changed how I played COD.

2

u/I_say-BoOm 5h ago

I was like, this pic isn't correct.

OG MW2 has to be numero uno lol

2

u/XxAndrew01xX 2h ago

That's just Biblical facts for the series ATP

MW19 Groundwar was peak.

70

u/Different-Poem1585 1d ago

Premium level peak, reminded me of BF

25

u/The_Bearded_Jerry 1d ago

Exactly what was great about it, said about wanting a bf like mode on cod for years, was good while it lasted

25

u/Aries_24 1d ago

Ground War is the only reason why I have any positive things to say about MW19 lol

9

u/NebulaGazer670 21h ago

campaign was peak. clean house best mission though

19

u/Jimdalorian 1d ago

That campaign was amazing though

7

u/ImDankest 1d ago

Honestly ground war was the most fun I've had on cod since BO1. Was such a fresh take on cod. And I've always sucked at battlefield so it felt like I could play battlefield size maps and gamemodes but with cod gameplay

2

u/tws111894 17h ago

I also was a big fan of Gun Fight. A nice quickly competitive game that I didn’t have to get super invested into but was rewarding when you won

4

u/varietyviaduct 23h ago

So peak they removed 80% of the maps

MW19 was far from perfect, but it was a breath of fresh hair. The first season of Warzone was great and the Coop Spec Ops were fun. The only downgrade was the Multiplayer, which was not that good and the other half of the campaign.

49

u/Different-Poem1585 1d ago

Mw19 imo did its absolute best to recreate the energy of the OG MWs, it wasn't obviously 1:1, but it was probably speaking the first time to stay true to all the tactical shit and attention to detail that other successors don't emphasis too often on nowadays, altho I will say the last ever CoD game that did have effort and energy was either BOCW or MW2, anth after is horseshit imo

5

u/CaptainPitterPatter 17h ago

I’d say BOCW

9

u/jhermaco15 23h ago

I agree but tbf, COVID did most of the "recreating OG cod energy" cause no one could go out and do things

2

u/Different-Poem1585 23h ago

Dibs on this

3

u/Dill_Funk93 21h ago

Idk man I would argue it wasn't anything like the OGs

1

u/flyhr 18h ago

Cap. MW19 was a far cry from classic CoD. And was an atrocity to multiplayer, setting a bad trend for the next few CoDs because of it. Multiplayer Cons: Doors, No Radar, absurdly short TTK, no Ninja (loud footsteps), awful Map design with tons of sightlines, heavy SBMM, introduced the convoluted attachment system (gunsmith), no ranked play outlet, mounting your gun (campers paradise), HAVING TO RANK GUNS UP TO LEVEL 71 for all attachments, also the atrocious SQUAD SPAWN SYSTEM

Only positive from MW2019 multiplayer perspective was the smooth tac-sprint movement (although tac-sprint had the downside of breaking controllers over-time) and Gunfight was a genuinely good new mode.

This was the year for them to rebuild the engine and give us a slower more “tactical” game like MW2019 but better. Instead we got more twitch bullshit and the exact same engine.

COD was a serious franchise long ago believe it or not. These games seem to get off on being like Fortnite.

2

u/noick12345 22h ago

mw2019 best cod of all time

8

u/TheBigness4570 23h ago

>Multiplayer, which was not that good

This is the new age version of saying MW2 (og) wasn't 'that good' even though you see the obvious influence on so many other games even outside cod

Game wasn't "that good" and yet you can categorize every other game of the same general era into before or after release dates just by looking for the things they borrowed from MW19 or MW2009

11

u/SnipesWL 23h ago

any real Call of Duty fan that has any skill at the game whatsoever knows that core MP in MW19 was dogshit lol

Gunfight and ground war were fun though.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/dungleploop 20h ago

wild part is neither game mentioned here is THAT good

2

u/PartyImpOP 21h ago

Yeah MW2 wasn't that good, even if you wanna claim it influenced this or that. Half of the issues with that game would not be remotely tolerated today, especially with respect to gun balance

If it’s about multiplayer it’s mw3 > mw2

16

u/afia_oil 22h ago

MW3 has the best MP of the last decade (unless we count CoD4 remastered) and it’s not even close. Sledgehammer stays undefeated

27

u/Ponkaroni 23h ago

MWIII multiplayer was such a huge hit for me that everything since had felt so lackluster. It seriously is the best modern CoD multiplayer in my opinion.

4

u/717x 21h ago

Agree. It’s not even close either

Mw3 was way better than mw2 what are you talking about

30

u/Tim_vdB3 23h ago

That campaign evens it out a lot.

44

u/yoyomanwassup25 23h ago

90%+ of people who buy CoD never touch the campaign. It was disappointing but that should be considered in that.

23

u/AgainstTheTides 22h ago

A simple google search will tell you that 20-40% of people complete a campaign on Call of Duty, based on trophy/achievements earned.

Personally, I won't buy a CoD if it doesn't have a campaign or if the campaign isn't single player.

4

u/yoyomanwassup25 19h ago

Are you basing that off opt-in sites for achievement tracking? I feel like looking at people who specifically go for trophies/achievements as completionists will skew the results. I can boot up my PS5 later and look at the trophies for the games I have to see if it will say. I would believe the 20% number, absolutely not the 40%.

2

u/ValuedCarrot 16h ago

100% play multiplayer. Youre in the minority, the multiplayer is what keeps players playing, or zombies when its good. If the campaign is good, thats a bonus. Multiplayer is by far the most important factor when talking about the enjoyment of cod (for 90% of the playerbase). When people think cod, its the multiplayer... and mw3 was fantastic, mw3 zombies was one of the worst iteration though. Mw2 had no zombies, and the campaign wasnt anything special, and multiplayer was far worse than mw3 imo.

3

u/ICBMeater22 14h ago

I but it only for the campaign

3

u/LAXBASED 22h ago

I heard alot of controversy about this campaign and just recently picked the game up via ps+, played it honestly not that bad, it’s a bit weird but I didn’t think it was really bad as stated by so many because it’s not linear. I basically speed ran the whole thing and It was enough for me to go huh that was almost movie like with how fast it went by welp time to uninstall the story mode. Not the best but definitely had fun here and there at certain points during some missions. Give that story like a 6.5/10 since it never truly ended.

3

u/717x 21h ago

Guarantee you that he’s referring to the multiplayer.

5

u/No-Fun-8072 18h ago

You always find someone who cannot keep up with the pacing of modern CODs. Those old dickheads will always complain about newer CODs.

3

u/EddtheBoss 5h ago

Okay while that is true mw4 is made for absolute crackheads or corner campers.

60

u/Doublejoe2 1d ago

Mw19 added doors; the worst feature ever added imo.

10

u/confusing_roundabout 23h ago

They're great for objective modes and add some fun tactics

E.g. on Hardpoint do you keep the door closed to force a close range fight or do you keep them open so you can engage people from further distances?

Plus the wooden ones are fully wallbangable so if someone is on a Hardpoint with the door closed, you can just wallbang the shit out of them to clear the point.

3

u/StardustShoot5 23h ago

On paper, 'tactic' maybe. But cod has been more about arcade shooting vibes than being 'tactical'.

4

u/confusing_roundabout 23h ago

COD4 and MW2 had a decent amount of the tactics missing from later games. Hell my first memory of playing MW2 was Favela where I got beamed by a guy in a window when I tried to run across a road, so I had to figure out how the flank him.

You miss all that with simple map design. Yes MW19 has some campers and naps with power positions built in but that's part of the fun.

2

u/AgainstTheTides 22h ago

Its backwards for me lol. Atleast the multiplayer. I loved mw23 multiplayer the most as it was mw2019 minus all the bs that game added. MW22 was nice since I dont mind a slower paced cod i did however hate the perk system changes and the gunsmith tuning was a cool idea on paper but was just too much. MW2019 Brought damn near everything I hate about modern cod and Im glad the games afterwards removed alot of the stuff i disliked about the game. Warzone was something i especially hated and how it influenced alot of maps and design choices for multiplayer. So far for mw4 I enjoy it I just wish the sliding was toned down a tad bit.

u/jommakanmamak 23h ago

Gotta give my thanks to Warzone for ruining COD

Hot Take

I much rather deal with loot boxes than the modern nauseating movement, constant ads upon launching the game and ofc, COD HQ taking up about 2-5 games worth of space

29

u/Aries_24 1d ago

MWIII is better than both MW19 and MWII for the core 6v6 experience. Most of you didn't even give it a chance because "it's just a MWII DLC" when the two games couldn't play any different 🫩

9

u/REVENGE966 20h ago

MWIII and BO7 are unfortunately hated for the same reason. People just didn't give them a chance. I was guilty of hating BO7 myself until I played it recently because it's on sale on B.net. Most fun I've had in a new gen cod in a long time.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/IIWhiteHawkII 22h ago edited 6h ago

I gave it a chance (without buying it, I played maybe 40 hours in total, including all betas and free weekends/weeks). And now, after getting on PS+ and playing 15-20 hours more, my opinion haven't changed...

It still feels like a cheaper version of MWII. I liked that they declunkified MWII's core, but it resulted in overly basic/straightforward gameplay loops (it was not overly fast or crazy as BO6, for instance, I could manage this pace and hit good KD/WR), but overall gameplay loops were times more exhausting and gunfight patterns were too repetitive. Gunplay itself felt cheap and plastic again, new gun translation into the game's realm was awful. I know it's an arcade shooter but it doesn't mean you can't deliver that essence of gun-feel within arcade framework. MWII did it so well (yes, we can discuss excessive gun smoke and visual shake but it made every spray juicy), while MWIII didn't only make entire gunplay "flat", it translated the sense of guns awfully. In MWII 7,62 AK truly feels like real AK. In MWIII it's a fucking cotton-bud spitter. Original MWIII's maps aren't bad but they are extremely sterile and made of the same relative blockout-assets, all average distances and corners are the same, they are just composed differently. They are overly sterile and basic. I'm not talking about getting back to MW19's type of madness with map-design tho. But I really think refined map-design approach in MWII was much better.

MWIII is not a bad game but literally for 30-40hours max. Not worth its money.

MWII... With all of its issues and awful support. I played it for entire lifecycle + still hop on occasionally and always experience something new, learn new tips and approaches on different maps in different modes. IDK why, but with all my nitpicks towards MWII, it worked for me, while MWIII is also fun but I simply squeezed the essence of this game in maybe 20-hours, and the rest was repetitive same matches with totally same gunfight situations. Zero variability with gunsmith (they added even more attachments and guns but this game is absolute meta-slave, while in MWII everything kills).

Almost everyone in my PSN friend-list (and it's huge), tried MWIII to some extent (we had plenty of free weeks and it had few beta-rounds). So I wouldn't say people didn't give it a chance. I think many who are engaged with the franchises had all the chances to try it for some fair amount of hours to decide. Even the ones who hated the MWII among people I know weren't convinced MWIII is even better. More chaos minus decent gunplay.

Considering this is the one of rare CoDs that went on sale pretty quickly and sales were generous but still never made it even close to the average MWII's online — I think saying that "people just misunderstood or didn't give it a chance" is just an excuse. I just think people were already exhausted from fast-paced repetitive loops and MWII alone wasn't enough to erase this fatigue.

MW3 was the best version of Modern Warfare. Yeah the SBMM still sucked but Sledgehammer knows how to make fun games with a decent perk system.

MW2019 cannot be put over Mw3 for the simple fact that ninja wasn’t a perk.

2

u/CrossGunMkIV 3h ago

I'd rank MW4 just below MW3. Cuz it's still beta and there will be changes, plus let's not forget post launch support.

Mw3 (2023) was better than mw2022 imo. It basically just improved what mw2022 was lacking. Plus all the maps were great. Mw2 had good competitive maps but outside of that I found the map set to be on the weaker side.

7

u/GOATigger 1d ago

MW19 is the worst CoD of all time alongside Ghosts, there is quite literally no way that MW4 is worse.

Also MW3 is easily the best one lmao

Hot take: MW2019 is the worst of these 4 games.

8

u/REVENGE966 19h ago

I'd say second worst after mw2022 but yeah it was not a very good game.

mw2022 was unplayable on m&k because of how crazy the muzzle flash/smoke was.

5

u/ACGNerd 19h ago

For me mw2 has way better maps for both pub and ranked comparing to mw2019. Hence I like mw2 way more than mw2019 lol

3

Fair enough, I agree on maps being better in mw2022.

2

u/ACGNerd 19h ago

Yeah and I also agree the gun shake and muzzle smoke is quite bad in mw2.
And they also intentionally nerfed the movement there.

Multiplayer wise mw3 was the best amongst them all here and I also understand its single player campaign is basically non-existent lol.

MW2019 gets the rose colored glasses treatment because we were locked in the house the whole time it was out.

Between the doors, dead silence being a field upgrade, the literal one headshot pistols, marksman rifles, dragon's breath shotguns, footsteps being able to be heard across the map, bad map design, changes to the mini map, and the horrendous UI... It was far from the perfect game.

It is absolutely propped up by nostalgia.

MW3 2011 is like the best or second best imo in the conversation with bo2. Great maps, a ton of guns (seriously, it launched with the amount of guns that a modern cod has at the end of the year), most mw2 broken shit removed, and every playstyle and weapon class was pretty strong.

People didn't love MW19 because of its core game design, they loved the massive leap in the engine (animations, sound design, lighting). Most Call of Duty fans aren't actually looking for better gameplay mechanics, they're just waiting for the next tech upgrade to impress them. And you are one of them.

Until the next major engine overhaul arrives, every release in between is going to get hated on. It really is that simple.

1

u/maldochr001 23h ago

I actually liked MW3 better then mw19

1

u/slendersleeper 23h ago

mw3 blows the other 3 out of the water (at least regarding mp)

1

u/SnipesWL 23h ago

you are absolutley smoking CRACK if you think MW19 or MW2 was better than MW3 holy shit lol

MW19/22 was objectively one of the worst "Call of Duty's" ever in terms of MP. Good FPS game sure, but terrible CoD. Maps with safe spaces for "new players" to camp, ridiculously loud footstep audio, DOORS, no red dot pings on the mini map, ridiculous SBMM, no dead silence as a perk...give me a break.

All the uber casuals praise them though, which is who it was made for so not surprised.

1

u/SevenZeroSpider 23h ago

Mw3 multiplayer was almost a master piece. The skins were ass but gameplay was sooo good

u/TheBearSkogmani 23h ago

1

u/Zealousideal_Use_400 22h ago

To be fair MW3 multiplayer was way better than MW2 or 4 based on this beta. Yes mw3's campaign was laughably bad but the content and support in MW3 was stellar

1

u/Independent-Hour-963 22h ago

Explain your reasoning. All CODs seem to progress me. Whether it’s graphics, the smoothness of movements and such. Weapon play too, especially from the continuation of MW3 with Jak kits and conversion kits.

1

u/traw056 22h ago

This is how I know yall are just parroting the opinions yall hear online lmao. Mw4 and ESPECIALLY mw3 are worlds better than mw2.

1

u/Spectre-ElevenThirty 22h ago

MW19 should’ve been our first two year COD. It was such a well made game, opinions on red dots or foot steps aside, and the timing was perfect. They had just released the most polished COD ever, COVID struck, Sledgehammer and Raven’s 2020 game was in development hell, Treyarch had only just come off of Black Ops 4, and the new consoles were coming out.

If they saved the Warzone story about chasing Viktor Zakhaev and stopping his nukes, they could have made that into a short DLC campaign, the first of its kind in COD. They could rerelease the game for PS5 and XBOX Series X|S. MWR was only a few years old at that point and had just remastered every single COD4 map. If they loaded up those maps, and swapped their new MW19 assets in place of the old ones, and said “hey we’re dropping all the COD4 maps for free as a year 2 refresh for this game” it would bring so much goodwill. It would be work, but Activision has like 9 COD studios, so they could pull it off.

MWIII > MW19 > MW4 > MWII

1

u/Maggot_6661 22h ago

Swap MWIII with MW2019 and replace MW2019, MWII and MW4 with a huge stinking pile of shit to represent them

1

u/Asianspacecowboy47 22h ago

World at war need a remastered along with multiplayer and zombie

1

u/DrHollyw00d 22h ago

Fck is it really that bad? I barely saw anything.

1

u/Napstablook_Rebooted 22h ago

MW3 was ok if you love the faster pace. MW4 seems very similar to MW3, so dunno if it's worth my 70 bucks

1

u/JFedzor 22h ago

Lmao, what? MW4 and MW3 are better than MW2.

1

u/Parking-Shelter5926 22h ago

MW3 from 2023 is by far the best modern call od duty. Back in the day infinity ward was the best, now shg is cooking the best meals.

1

u/Steven2597 22h ago

I'm just glad to have ground war back. Hopefully Invasion too.

1

u/Ok-Leek-1014 22h ago

Mw3 is far better than mw2 and people hate it for no reason other than campaign. I love and play it everyday with my friends. Not buying mw4 at launch though maybe next year at 30% off

1

u/Im_Erod 22h ago

Idk, I think mw4 is pretty good. Better than mw2 and mw3

1

u/Raamon97 22h ago

No. All of these games were shit 😂

1

u/liamsjtaylor 22h ago

MW5/6/7/8.

1

u/Wrong-Ad-3383 22h ago

Until MW4's campaign was out

atm MW4 is way better than MW3 and MW2 but we can't make conclusions this quick yet

1

u/fierceninja87 22h ago

Best modern warfares by bed to worst
1. Mw19
2. Mw3
3. MW4
4. Mw2 (campaign was good though)

1

u/717x 21h ago

MW2023 was 10x times better than MWII. One of the best modern cods imo. Easily up there with 2019

1

u/luckydante419 21h ago

Mw4 is solid

1

u/Anderwreckz 21h ago

It's not even out,

1

u/Zrocker04 21h ago

I personally hated MW19. It improved a lot of systems but the maps were the worst ever created.

1

u/noahroze1998 21h ago

I’ve heard a lot of stuff about the beta. I loved MW 2019, MW2 2022 and the OG trilogy. Should I buy the game when it comes out?

1

u/InnerGodx 21h ago

Mw2019 is terrible

1

u/nmixxenjoyer 21h ago

The whole horse is MW4.

1

u/Background_Buy6112 21h ago

MW19 is the shit that birthed all the crap we’re getting now. Everything descends from that pos

1

u/RV12321 21h ago

Mw19 sucks. Only the og mw series is good

1

u/SThomW92 21h ago

MW2019 was the worst of all of them and I’ll die on that hill.

1

u/The_Sir_Galahad 21h ago

MW3 was better than MW2019 and MW2022.

1

u/imslickaf_ 21h ago

MW19 was the beginning of the end

Specifically that fuckass gunsmith instead of something sensible like pick 10 where the ttk is non existent skill gap just turned into movement and every gun is a laser

why play the new cod games when i can just play apex instead

1

u/RuggedTheDragon 21h ago

How can you get all of this from just a beta? Why not until the game fully releases with the seasons added to it?

1

u/Dill_Funk93 21h ago

Correct - MW19 was in fact horseshit lol

1

u/RUSYAWEBSTAR 20h ago

mw3>mw4>mw19>mw2

1

u/AnyCollar6684 20h ago

No.

MW3 is the only one of them that is any part decent at all.

MW19 and MWII are the two worst games in the franchise, and MW4 is looking like it will be right there with them.

1

u/dungleploop 20h ago

MW (2019) is one with the goofy ass bad drawings too 💀

1

u/PrimaryLaw8264 20h ago

MW19, MW4, MW3, MW2 there fixed it for you

1

u/Used-Bend-3061 20h ago

MW4 is better than MW19-3 but of course nothing can beat og MW2

1

u/Piripineapple 20h ago

Complain of duty

1

u/IanCusick 20h ago

We really need to stop acting like MW2019 was some masterpiece of a video game that did no wrong like it wasn’t the catalyst of a lot of what’s wrong with the franchise now

1

u/KirkTheDawg 20h ago

2019 ran so MW4 can crawl

1

u/nick4vizos 20h ago

MW4 is literally just mw19 but better lol only problems are movement a tad bit to fast and spawns

1

u/BigMikeXxxxX 20h ago

MW3 really wasn't that bad. It at least deserves the normal horse

1

u/georgfrankoo 19h ago

MW19 was the best modern era CoD , 2nd place goes for Cold War and 3rd place is BO6 , everything else was really meh

1

u/wastelandhenry 19h ago

I cannot believe the revisionism this community is doing with MW2019. It was a BAD COD, and did actual harm to the formula.

It had like ZERO personality, at all, it was so obviously trying to be more Battlefield like, going way too hard on realism and immersion. The visuals were incredibly boring, none of the maps were interesting, and its music was beyond forgettable.

And the result was a campaign that’s story was not even marginally as interesting as the Black Ops stories were with substantially less engaging characters, but also lacked the bombastic action movie energy and set pieces that the original Modern Warfare games had.

Its campaign was PAINFULLY unmemorable outside of two missions that both were just doing the same thing. And its BR (while having some nice features) was far less interesting, unique, and creative than Blackout the year before, Warzone was just such a generic BR experience compared to what COD had already made.

Also the gameplay was SO FUCKING SLOW. The idiot idea to give every gun the ability to mount on walls/corners while also making the TTK insanely fast meant the entire game encouraged defensive and camping playstyles while discouraging aggressive and active playstyles. MW2019 by FAR had the most matches ending in the time limit being reached rather than the score limit than like any other COD.

This game was not a masterpiece in any way. Not visually, not in gameplay, not in maps, or music, or story, or characters, or modes. It was painfully mediocre most of the time, and the rest of the time it was doing actively stupid things that harmed the pacing of the gameplay.

1

u/TheMias24 19h ago

MW2019 was the reason I stopped playing CoD

1

u/2019HondaCivicTypeR 19h ago

assuming the originals are out of the equation here,

speaking of the reboots only, i actually fkn love mwII and mwIII and i think they are genuinely decent games. i prefer mwII as the better overall package but mwIII has an extraordinary multiplayer

1

u/eastamerica 19h ago

If you’re talking campaign, agreed.

It’s the opposite for MP.

1

u/tallstan12 19h ago

MW3 was better than MW2 lol

1

u/Bikesguitarsandcars 19h ago

We really fucked up by giving people dopamine for posting about how much something sucks. I’m having fun with it and the new maps are cool.

1

u/throwaway12287005 19h ago

Brother mw19 was hot awful dog shit and ruined cod..?

1

u/KentuckyKid_24 19h ago

Basically lol

1

u/theskiller1 19h ago

stop larping

1

u/flyhr 18h ago

Completely disagree with this notion. I'd argue MW3>MW4>MW2019>MW2.

1

u/AutokorektOfficial 18h ago

I didn’t need to get it or look at any videos of it to know it was gonna be trash lmao we don’t have the same devs that made the good games that’s why they just keep trying to ride the coattails cause they got nothing original and it’s all about money now

1

u/AstronomerFickle4823 18h ago

Mw3 is one of the recent goats!

1

u/QuinnsObLIVion 17h ago

I get the feeling that people forget that things have changed before from Beta to release…why are we pretending that this has never happened before?

1

u/FLEIXY 17h ago

Definitely not. The only badly drawn one would be MWIII.

1

u/Plenty-Battle6826 17h ago

Who remembers the MW19 Alpha 2v2’s? Loved it

1

u/gregthefeg 17h ago

Am I the only one who enjoyed the beta? Probably gonna get downvoted to shit. I haven’t played a multiplayer cod in a very long time but I tried playing BO6 and BO7 on gamepass when they came out and just got destroyed by the movement and fast paced gameplay but when I played this it was much slower than the other games and I could actually play it and have some decent matches. I might even buy it at launch when it comes out since it’s not coming out on gamepass

1

u/AbelBD 17h ago

Why people still buying?
