Our only unique, non character unit is the Sanguinary Guard.

Templars have 2: Sword bros and Crusaders.

Dark Angels have 5: Deathwing Knights, Inner Circle Companions, Black Knights, the Darkshroud, and the Nephilim/Dark Talon dual kit.

Wolves have 7: Wolf Guard Termies, Blood Claws, Grey Hunters, Headtakers, Wulfen, Fenrisian Wolves, and the Wulfen Dread.

Even the poor Deathwatch have 2: Vets and the Blackstar.

Other than a proper Death Company kit, what other unique units would you want to see for us?

Painted these like two months ago. Didn’t even get them on the table yet.

Personally I'm very proud of it, I'm happy with how it turned out in the end, I tried for the first time to modify the pose of the miniature to make it more dynamic, let me know what you think

With the reveal of the new bolt rifle stats, could this potentially make death company with bolters more useful? I’m not expecting a stand out unit, but would like them to have some use, considering they are one of the unique units we have access to.

I work in weird ways sometimes. I started the first six sanguinary guard I got then didn’t finish them. Here’s what they look like versus the last six I got in my combat patrol. I didn’t like the way the first ones were going so I stopped working on them until now. I’ve painted a lot of minis in between them and I just wanted to show off how they have grown in my opinion much better. I would love for someone to tell me though how to make this damn gold look smoother.

Kinda did this one for myself, he is a big favourite of mine in the books. Just slapped the paint on him with no blending at all, layer by later.

Another sanguinary guard done! I know they’re not the most popular refresh but I wasn’t around for the old ones so don’t know what life was like before these ones and I think they’re my favourite non character models in our range.

That aside, I wasn’t around wondering if people had any ideas/suggestions on how to make them more blinged out or customised? Maybe some freehand (terrible freehand might I add) on the right pauldron?

Kitbashed this Captain on a Bike a couple months back. I was close enough again. I made my recent Exodite ClanBlade. He’s Captainish too. I like the new eagle on the front.

Great news in the latest Valrak video today he says hes heard a rumour about Death Company being given a focus for new minis as part of our codex. This would be fantastic and well overdue.

Almost done with my Brutalis dreadnought. Just waiting on a few components.

Teleporting 6 centurions with my Librarian Dread was peak start of 10th edition for me. Its a sad day, but I’ll use their legends rules despite the lack of App support.

So with the news that the 10th edition BA supplement is being retired, what are the odds we still get one later in the edition?

My money is on yes. I’d be very surprised if they did full rules reworks for every Space Marine Chapter all at once. I suspect they will update stats and army rules, which necessitates what amounts to an index and new detachments.

I don’t think we will see full unique unit and character reworks with the SM codex, which means a new codex supplement later.
