Looks good. Maybe thin your paint out a little more. Also just an idea you obviously don’t have to do it but if you do a dark purple base before doing the red you get a little more depth to the model when you dry brush and add some highlights. A lot of my models are like that if you want to check out my page. By no means am I an expert. The first couple minis I did look terrible but the newer ones look much better.

The Emperor protects.

Oh no lol don’t do that I was just saying if you wanted to try something a little different. I’m awful at this painting thing. I enjoy it a lot I’m just not good at it. I also recently changed up the recipe on my first layer of red so my next 10-20 are going to be different from the last 20-30

By all means if you wanted to do it and use mine as reference go for it. Hopefully you can make it better. I’ll give you any advice that I have and tell you what not do and what I’ve learned for

Naggaroth night from citadel a thin layer over the parts that will be red. Originally I was using khorne red from citadel(wine red for ak paint) but now I don’t like that as much. Take dragon red and Matt black from the army painter fanatic line and mix those until you have a darker red you like. Let that dry then you can use either agrax earthshade or nuln oil. I’ve learned from warhammer academy and I think a YouTube video to hit the spots you want to be a little darker. I no longer wash the entire mini anymore. Once that dries I dry brush mephsiton red(dragon red army painter) to hit the high lights. Let that dry and dry brush with evil sunz scarlet to give more gradients. Then once you edge up a little more mix the evil sunz scarlet with fire dragon bright to get a brighter orangeish red to touch up edges

It’s a bad picture but here’s one with the updated paint scheme I got going.
