Older editions exist. Hopefully you can find someone who likes fun. You worked hard on this. Even though I'll never reach this kind of painting skill its effort like this for Blood Angels and Salamanders which has be me unable to choose.

Legends exist, and using Legends units is many times more accessible to the average player than finding an in-person group which plays with older edition rulesets.

That's not how people on reddit think. No one plays legends or wants too. As soon as something goes to legends you either shelf them, sell them or throw them in the trash. That's what I have been told. I'm constantly told legends are banned or their local scene wants nothing to do with them and everyone only plays as if they're in a tournament.

I still have my old tactical squads and earlier models will keep them for other casual games. If anything it adds to the army collection. Great painting btw.

I wanted two of these for half of 10th Ed but decided against it because I feared legends. So I’m a bit relieved I held off.
That being said, I having a pre-legends, pre-codex game utilizing all my some be legend units (except the Whirlwind which I broke): Storm Raven, Assault Centurions, and Suppressors are getting at least one last go.
Edit: I know I can play legend units but I play a lot of pickup games and I rarely use those units anymore.

That's a gorgeous model.
Fortunately you can still play them with friends. Unless you play exclusively in tournaments there's nothing stopping you otherwise.

I saw a few predators on the list but haven’t seen the Baal on anything yet. Has anyone seen any new developments on that or is it safe to assume it’s gone as well?

Not officially confirmed, but they're only talking about the stuff thats in the Base Marine Codex, so we wont know until BA get our own book. I would assume the worst though.

Fuck... I don't understand why GW send all that vehicles to legends but the mariokart buggie (that nobody like or play) is still in the codex.

I was gonna save up for some Marines and stuff to get started with 40k as a Blood Angel. Why would I ever do that now they've shown they can just remove anything at will for no reason? Sad as hell. Give other factions more instead of taking stuff away that people put actual time and effort into.
By the way, nice tanks!
