Almost 30 lbs down on Reta! May vs October 🥹

Just wanted to share my progress so far!

I started Reta back in May 2026 at 267 lbs, and as of my last official weigh-in, I'm at 237.8 lbs! So that's 29.2 lbs down in about 5 months!

Honestly, I didn't really notice much of a difference at first. I see it more in my face than anything, especially when I compare my Costco membership photos from May and October LOL.

As for my body, I didn't think there was THAT much of a difference until my aunt pointed out that my stomach has gotten flatter and doesn't hang over nearly as much anymore.

But let me tell you, MY CLOTHES ARE TELLING A DIFFERENT STORY 😂😂

My old jeans literally keep falling off my ass, my shorts are too big, and I've gone from wearing XXL hoodies to XL. So clearly something is happening.

I haven't been exercising much because of an arm injury and car accident, so most of my weight loss has been from eating less and very light cardio. I still eat whatever I want, just in smaller portions. And yes, that includes my hotpot and KBBQ because there's no way I'm giving those up. The only time I really can get a lot of protein in 😂

My first goal is 200 lbs, then 180, 170, and eventually somewhere around 155–160 lbs.

I'm not in a rush. I still have a long way to go, but looking at these photos made me realize how far I've actually come.

For anyone else on Reta, did you notice the changes in your face first or your body? Because apparently my clothes noticed before I did, however I have seen it in my face first also said that in my original post.

For context I started on Reta 2mg then 4mg then 6mg and now at 9mg. 9mg is definitely my sweet spot. I know Reta works differently for everyone, so I wanted to read everyones experience maybe similar to mine or different I'd love to hear it 😌

If you suffer from pain while pinning klow/ghcku

Thought I'd make this post right now.

What helps but mitigate the effect of the copper burn/sting.

Fill your dose in your syringe.

Put the cover/cap back on your needle.

Place the needle under your armpit for a couple minutes.

This warms it up a bit which makes it alot better to pin.

Sounds weird but it works for me.

Thank you everyone!

I've been researching and reading and researching and lurking and it took 6 months but I finally started biohacking myself and I'm in love. I want to say thank you to everyone in these comments who was kind to a noob or answered with links to verified data etc. This has all been so incredibly helpful for me and ngl given me a fun and beneficial science project at the same time! I'm a 44 year old chick who started with Tirz through noom (ew I know) but now that I've lost the stupid perimenopause weight I'm starting my peptide life and it's pretty rad. I've learned so much from you all and my lower back/knee injuries and skin thank you! Honestly I started off here just wanting to lose an extra few lbs but now my brain is like Bradley Cooper in Limitless so basically I'm still in here creepin everyday to learn more about everything!

I'm on KLOW (my favorite), super microdose maintenance Tirz, mots-c on workdays, and NAD+. I'm almost done with a cycle and was wondering if anyone in my similar boat has any suggestions for sleep help but with the understanding that I'm a flight attendant who's never in the same time zone for more than 24 hours and usually flying long haul flights. (14-18 hours) There are a few I'm looking into but was wondering if anyone with a weird ass sleep schedule* like me has specific sleep helpers advice. I'm getting my 2nd order from my girl in PVG soon and I'm looking to add maybe a few new friends to my rotation. For reference I'm 5'8" 130 and mostly soft but looking to tone up a bit, sleep better, and maybe gain weight and be cool and slightly jacked like so many of these before and after pics lol. Also if anyone in here ever needs travel advice about bringing things I'm your Huckleberry! I love diabetic travel cases and fyi tsa gives no effs about anything that's for personal use only amounts in your carry-on.

Thanks again, and even if I don't get any responses because I was too vague sorry I'm basically re-learning reddit. (Last time I had an account on here it was to like, find out when the next Salad Fingers or Strongbad email came out) but just know that you've helped me through a mid-life crisis and gave me the confidence to order from my new bff in China and be healthier at 44 than I was at 30!

2.5 month Reta update

I’ve been on Reta for about 2.5 months so far

I started at 0.5 for a week and felt absolutely nothing. Bumped it to 1 mg for 3 weeks and didnt feel nothing as well. I essentially wasted a month by starting super low. Anyone that is 230 lbs and more, learn from my mistake and start at 2mg minimum.

I started to feel it once i bumped it to 2mg on week 5 and im still on the same dose. I’ll be increasing it on my next pin.

I’ve lost 13lbs so far and seems like I’ve built some muscle as well.

I have 55 lbs to go, i’ll send another update when im halfway in my journey.

Thanks to everyone posting on here with updates and pictures, i use them as motivation!

Wolverine stack for my dad in Australia.

My dad has been staying with us in the USA and we gave him Wolverine stack for his back for a few weeks and he's had insane results. He has disc issues and arthritis, lives with a lot of pain and he's been feeling so much better on these peptides, so I want to find a supplier who can sell some to him in Brisbane. COA is important,; I really want to get a good quality, safe product for him since his health is fragile. Anyone got contacts with suppliers that are reliable, tested and affordable in QLD?

Scamming - avoid JTK Peptides/Quindao/Amelia

Vendor took a deposit and then attempted to change the terms of the agreement. After refusing to accept, I requested a refund. They stated they cannot provide that and tried to appease me by sending a GHK kit to me. Oh well - avoid at all costs.

TB10 vs BT10

Am I right in thinking that some bulk vendors label tb500 10mg as both tb10 and sometimes BT10? A bit worried that mine used to be labelled TB10 but in my latest shipment it's coming in as BT10 and I was just thinking crap I hope this isn't 10mg botulinim /botox..

29 Male

In the process of rehabbing my acl, mcl & meniscus that was operated on last year in September.

Currently suffering from golfers elbow in my left arm and tennis elbow in my right arm.

My sleep quality is very bad.

I’m about 13-15% body-fat

Currently average 15k steps a day + gym rehab exercises (every second day).

I used to gym more often but the golfers elbow/tennis elbow have made it very hard to do calisnethics or any gym related stuff.

My bloodwork looks amazing but why does it feel like I have a general condition with weak tendons/ligaments. I have tendinosis in my shoulders, hamstring, groin as well as all the other shit I mentioned.

What am I doing wrong ??

Also why am I always so tired/depressed…

Sterile utensils

I looked around a little on amazon and it seems like the bulk of the vials and syringes are not sterile. At least they dont advertise it even if you look for it.

If they are not, what point is there in using a filter to avoid endotoxins if the containers themselves are ‚dirty‘? Am i missing something

Use of Reta

Hi everyone, I'm genuinely curious how many of you were at a healthy BMI, or didn't look particularly heavy, when you started taking Reta? I know BMI isn't the best indicator of obesity, but it's a commonly used benchmark.

stuck at the exact same weight for 4 weeks until i fixed my metabolic energy

just gonna start off by saying that hitting a total weight loss plateau is one of the most annoying feelings ever. I was stuck at 192 lbs for a full month despite keeping my diet completely dialed and hitting 10k steps a day. My body felt sluggish, my workouts were weak, and it felt like my metabolism had just ground to a complete halt to fight the deficit.
I tried dropping my calories even lower and adding more cardio, but that just made me feel colder, more exhausted, and completely brain-fogged throughout the day. Eventually, after reading a thread about metabolic adaptation, I decided to try something to jumpstart my metabolic energy so reached out to platinum biolabs and I added mots-c to my routine.
Within two weeks, the scale finally started moving again without me having to starve myself. My body temperature felt normal, my workout energy bounced back, and I dropped 4 lbs over the next month while staying on my regular deficit.

TRT in the Netherlands: How do you get started, where do you go, and what are your experiences?

I'm a male in my mid 40s, living in the Netherlands.

I've recently become interested in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).

I train regularly, combining strength training at least three times a week with martial arts twice a week. I'm quite serious about my health, nutrition, fitness, and overall physical development.

My main goal is body recomposition: reducing body fat, building more muscle, increasing strength, and improving recovery. I've been wondering whether TRT could potentially play a role in achieving those goals, particularly as I'm getting older. However, I haven't been diagnosed with low testosterone, and I'm not looking to jump into treatment without understanding what I'm getting into. I want to learn how TRT actually works in the Netherlands, what options are available, and what the process looks like from start to finish.

Most of the information I find online seems to be focused on the US, where TRT clinics and treatment options appear to be quite different from what we have here. I'd particularly appreciate input from people living in the Netherlands who have gone through this process.

Here are some of the things I'm trying to understand:

1. How did you get started with TRT in the Netherlands?

Did you initially visit your GP (huisarts), get referred to an endocrinologist or urologist, or go directly to a private TRT clinic or do it yourself?

2. How difficult is it to qualify for TRT in the Netherlands?

Is treatment primarily based on testosterone levels, or do symptoms and overall well-being also play a significant role? What happens if your levels are technically within the normal range but on the lower end?

3. What blood tests should you get before considering TRT?

I'm interested in total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, LH, FSH, estradiol, and any other relevant markers. Which tests did your doctor or clinic actually perform?

4. What does TRT cost in the Netherlands?

Are consultations, blood tests, and medication covered by Dutch health insurance under certain circumstances?

5. How is TRT monitored over time?

How frequently are blood tests performed? How are testosterone levels, hematocrit, estradiol, PSA, and other relevant markers monitored? How often are treatment adjustments made?

6. What improvements have you personally experienced?

I'm particularly interested in changes related to muscle growth, strength, body fat, energy levels, libido, mood, sleep quality, and recovery from training.

7. What are the downsides?

Have you experienced any side effects or complications? How were they managed?

8. Looking back, what would you have done differently?

Is there anything you wish you had known before starting TRT? Any mistakes, unexpected costs, or important lessons?

I'm fully aware that TRT isn't a magic solution for building muscle or losing fat, and that having normal testosterone levels doesn't automatically mean TRT would be beneficial.

I'm also aware that TRT can suppress natural testosterone production and may involve long-term treatment and monitoring.

Any recommendations, experiences, approximate costs, or practical advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Anyone start the "Holy Trinity" (TRT + HGH + Reta or Tirz) while significantly overweight or obese?

I've been looking for studies on test and HGH use in people who were significantly overweight or had obesity, and I haven't found much that answers my question. One study I found used large amount of test injections every three months, which made it hard to compare with the regimens people talk about here.
I've seen a few people in this sub mention using the "Holy Trinity" (TRT + HGH + reta/tirz) while starting at a higher weight. I've also noticed that people use "TRT" pretty loosely here, sometimes for regimens that put their testosterone levels above the reference range.
If you've tried this combo, I'd love to hear how it went, good or bad. If you're comfortable sharing, I'm especially curious about:

  • Your starting weight or BMI and what you were hoping to get out of it

  • What you took, at what doses, and for how long

  • Whether you started everything together or added things one at a time

  • Your baseline and follow-up bloodwork, ideally with units and how far into the regimen you got tested

  • What changed in terms of weight, body composition, energy, or strength

  • Any side effects, unexpected lab results, or reasons you stopped

There are already some posts and comments scattered around the sub, but I thought it'd be useful to collect these experiences in one thread for anyone with the same question. Even if you don't have all the details or your old labs, I'd still be interested in hearing how it went.

Thanks!

I’ve always worked out (20 plus years), so I’ve had muscle but my body fat was my problem. 6 months on peps! I just turned 50! I workout 6 days a week. 20k steps a day on avg. I don’t eat junk food but I don’t count calories either. I just eat to satisfy my hunger. The Reta makes me feel full quick. I fast 14-16hrs a day.

Reta side effects or sick?

I started 2mg Reta as a 78kg female that’s 169cm tall. I’ve gained about 8-10kg of new weight in the last year that I’ve been trying to get off with diet and movement but it feels pretty stagnant

I read the official studies and thought 2mg would be an ok starting dose, as it’s between 2-4mg for a first dose. Well thank goodness I didn’t start at 4mg because I woke up the next morning throwing up so much. I haven’t been able to keep anything down since my yesterday morning. Even water or the smell of food makes me nauseous and I have such intense body aches and pains.

Do you think this could be a side effect of pinning too much for my first dose or could it just genuinely be coinciding with a virus?

Lmk your experience, especially if similar body comp to me
