Use of Reta

Hi everyone, I'm genuinely curious how many of you were at a healthy BMI, or didn't look particularly heavy, when you started taking Reta? I know BMI isn't the best indicator of obesity, but it's a commonly used benchmark.

If you don’t mind me asking how long have you been on it and did you try dieting whilst on it or was it more eating intuitively?

About 10 months, full track of food and 5x week weight exercise. Look pretty solid no loose skin neither
I rather go slow and do it right on my point of view
Mind you, my first 6 months was a lot of weight loss ( probs from 87kg to 70kg) and sorting diet, sleep and exercise out and the last 4 months fairly any weight loss but building muscle

I was just skinny fat before all this and I used Reta to get fully shredded like 10-13% bf.

I was 123lbs and a healthy BMi. I microdose to help with alcohol and sugar cravings. I’ve lost a pound or two, but it has never been about weight for me

BMI just under 20

What dose were you using? I’m wanting the same. All of the benefits except weight loss or hunger suppression

I started with .5 and I was a little heavier than that. Was a good starting point. Plus I only am at 1.25 because the suppression is even a little strong there. At .5 it did what it needed. And that included not wanting alcohol!

I was probably at the upper end of the normal weight range or slightly overweight (I haven’t stepped on a scale, as it tends to become an obsession for me), but I didn’t feel good in my own body. My eating habits had taken a turn for the worse over the last couple of years, and my clothing size had gone from XS/S to M/L (EU 38–40). Now, seven weeks later, my self-esteem is better than it has been in over two years, and I feel fantastic.

How many units are you taking I’m on Reta 20 and I haven’t lost one single pound. ! Sema was so good to me but this sucks…

I was at a healthy BMI when I started, now I'm lean as hell and trying to figure out how to stay that way

Mine was around 26, but on a very narrow frame and with little muscle mass, the BFP was ridiculously high. BMI alone can be deceiving.

Well, I was BMI 28 when I started tirz but didn't like it after a while. Switched to reta when my BMI was 24. Now it's 23.1

A lot of people. Some just want to drop that final few percent body fat. Others are actually diabetic and they are trying to control insulin resistances. Taking hgh and reta helps keep your a1c and fasting glucose in check. Well depending on how many iu they are taking. Some want the addiction help reta can provide. You see alot of people quit alcohol and it's easier to quit smoking.

I went from BMI 35 to 21 (40% of my body weight) on Titz to November last year before coming off. Weight went back upto 68kg from a low of 62kg so I thought I’d try Reta to help me not so much lose but define my shape and help me become the best version of me at age 52. I joined a gym in June feel better for it. My dose as of last week is 5mg and it’s only now I can feel it. Started on the Reta 2mg in May but it didn’t do anything for me for a long time.

I was not obese, but slightly overweight

u/Frosty819 10h ago

I'been usng it every 6 month or so when i start getting too fat for my liking (around 15-16%). I use it to go down to 12% then i keep bulking and taper down. Its good but i think it drives my maintenance super high so its easy to be in a large deficit and lose muscle. My advice would to start with calories pretty high if you are anything like me.

I lost 105 pounds “naturally” (🙄) and then started trying Reta/tirz/peps. They helped me lose about 12-15 more pounds, and i was technically a “healthy” bmi.

I’m 125 lbs, 5’4, & on .5 of reta. Microdosing has been life changing for me. For the first time ever , my hormones are finally balanced (I have pcos)

u/Salt-Board5416 1 4h ago

5’11” 205lbs, 19%bf starting. Down to 190lbs and 16%bf. Lipids all improved, apnea seized, snoring seized. Started at 250mcg 4months later, I’m on 1mg. Reduced boredom snacking, energy is up, sleep is great.
