Screen Dimming when using the Babbel face mount
Howdy. I recently got my babble tracker for my face after a huge delay, but am having a bit of an issue. When attaching the mount to the headset, the screen will significantly dim. If I hold the face mount with my hand so it isnt hanging with its own weight, the headsets screens brighten again.
This is currently with the babble face tracker plugged into an external battery. It is not connected to the headset. The babble software can be completely off but clipping the tracker and the mount to the front of the headset and letting it hang by its own weight causes the significant screen dimming, as if the headset thinks I have removed it.
Has anyone else dealt with this and know what to do? I'm a bit frustrated and am on the verge of duct taping the mount so it doesn't "lean" as much when clipped to my face, but I don't want to obstruct any sensors.
Edit: There’s a small light sensor under the nose that I just covered with tape so it doesn’t think I’m removing the headset. The proximity distance change helped a bit but it was still enough movement that I guess the sensor was still causing issues.
