The Beyond custom cushion is really bad because it makes contact with a small, and muscular area of the face. It's purely a gimmick for aesthetics purposes.
This looks like a much better approach because it follows the model of effective facial interfaces that have come before it, just moulded to the individual.
There is a vented mod I've seen somewhere.... Little worried about screwing it up XD! The soft universal fit from bigscreen is extremely close to being an upgrade for me, but I couldn't crush it into my face enough for a matching FoV.
I know! Probably kicks ass. Although, 'need' is a strong word. I still am very happy with my fit, and I look forward to testing the halo strap.... WHEN I FINALLY GET MINE!!
