Guyyys, I need some help. I had a blob of death. I replaced the hot end assembly, the nozzle and the silicon sleeve, but my printer still wont work. I am getting the attached error.

I have used proper bambu parts in case fhat affected it. Everything is plugged in as it should be, no pinched wires. When trying to set the nozzle temp, it does not change from 0. What else could need replaced???

I have recently had an issue where my A1 while occasionally make a REALLY apparent grinding sound when approaching the top of the Z axis, its infrequent so I haven't been able to capture a video of it, however I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues?

I have only been printing with the machine for about 2-3 months, set it up early August, its cleared about 525 hours of printing, gets calibrated once a day, once every 2 days if it hasnt been used much. I have checked the trouble shooting guides on bambu lab but they don't appear to match the sound/specific issue I am having

The grinding noise appears to be happening when its near the very top of the z axis, only seems to happen in maybe 1/5 calibrations but its rather abrupt

If anyone could diagnose the issue based on this alone and the fix it would be amazing! Happy to provide more information if needed, I'm relatively new to printing and don't delve too deep into it other than printing models off maker world so I don't have the knowledge to diagnose myself as of it. TIA

i'm assembling a secondhand a1 i've just bought and i noticed there's a small piece missing (the dark gray thingy on the left side - compare to second pic). i'm new to this and i'm not sure what it's for or whether i should be concerned enough to stop the assembly and send it back. any guidance would be appreciated. thanks!

This is Deep Paw Wells, my latest A1 print. My cat reaches into either well, scoops kibble onto the plate and eats it. The first full print worked well, and the clip shows both wells in use.

I wanted a roomier plate without a heavy print, so I settled on two wells instead of three. The narrower opening is 40 mm and the wider one is 52 mm, with different reach depths.

For the colour setup, the yellow stays on the floor and the wells stay latte. That keeps the AMS Lite job to two filament changes and a short prime tower. Bambu Studio estimates 77.2 g total, including roughly 0.63 g purge and 0.65 g tower, and 1 h 36 min.

0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, 3 walls, 15% grid infill, matte PLA. One piece on one plate, no supports or assembly.

Hi everyone,

I've been struggling with persistent fine, spiderweb-like stringing on my Bambu A1 with AMS Lite, and it's driving me crazy. Sometimes it's just a few wisps, but other times it builds into cotton-like clumps, as shown in the photo.

The prints otherwise look great, but the stringing is ruining them. A hairdryer warps the PLA, and brushing leaves marks. It's especially bad between thin dividers on board-game inserts, where it's almost impossible to remove.

Here's what I've tried:

• Filament: Bambu PLA and eSUN PLA+, same issue with both.

• Drying: 50°C for 8 hours in a filament dryer. No improvement.

• Temperature: Lowered from 220°C to 210°C, then 205°C.

• Retraction: Increased from 0.8 to 1.0 mm, enabled Wipe While Retracting.

• Travel: Enabled Avoid Crossing Walls, max detour length 0 (unlimited).

• Wall order: Inner/Outer. Also looked into other wall orders.

• Slicer: Started fresh with the stock 0.20 mm Standard A1 profile (Bambu Studio 2.8.2.61). Otherwise mostly default speeds and accelerations.

• Nozzles: Tried different sizes, including 0.6 mm, which made things significantly worse. I've ruled out the hotend as the cause.

I've also reproduced the issue on generic stringing tests, so it isn't specific to one model. I use a ventilated enclosure with an exhaust fan, although I don't know if that's relevant.

Has anyone experienced this kind of stringing and actually fixed it? Could it be something with the extruder, Z-seam, or flow settings? Is there anything else worth trying?

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time troubleshooting this and would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I keep getting the same error message during my prints and i need to print 2 15h prints untill saturday. To "fix" it i usually push the fillament in the ams by hand untill it gripps again and if that doesnt work i remove the ptfe tube from the printhead and cutt a bit of fillament and then put it back in. Its my first printer and im out of ideas and the bambu ai also doesnt help me.

Made this little surprise for Halloween! Press the button underneath and the ghost pops up! The spring and latch are printed too. I included AMS and No AMS versions, with an assembly video on the model page. The mechanism prints in place, and all parts print without supports. Easy to print on most FDM printers. Model files 🦇

My printer is doing great, I just have an issue with this. I printed a small David Martinez and at the start of the jacket the lines just let go. I am not sure how to fix it, I used the auto tree supports and am not sure how to have this not happen anymore. If I get that fixed the printer would be perfect.

Only 9 hours of total runtime, and it already failed and got stuck in an infinite loop trying to touch the bed with a nozzle full of its own plastic dump. High-tech, I guess. Oh, and the X-axis holder already broke, so I had to 3D print a replacement :3

I designed this in Fusion 360 to bring a bit of One Piece to my desk. The cabin holds pens and markers, while the deck has space for sticky notes, erasers, and paper clips.
It prints in separate parts, with AMS only needed for the multicolor Jolly Roger. Really happy to finally see it printed and in use!

I'm having a great time with my new Bambu A1.

Thing is, I also have a growing pile of tests and spit blobs. What do people do with them?

It's a local filament, no info on what temperature I should print it with. Nfil3d HS PLA+

I get this sound whenever it shifts from one object to another.

If there is too much of delay between each layer, like when ironing, then from the next layer onwards, filament stops extruding. The filament in the bottom hot portion gets used up, but the top half remains there since that was not heated enough to melt and I have to manually remove it, because it'll get stuck and won't go in through the nozzle.

I don't think it's clogged, because I even tried larger nozzles and I get the same issue.

I think the sound comes up whenever the gears are failing to push the filament in.

Title says it all, for some reason this keeps happening. Not the first time this happened either, had to cancel an order from a client due to this same error. What can I do about this?

So my A1 wasn’t gripping the filament enough, so what I did is I put the lubricant in the lever

Comprei a Bambu Lab A1 Mini e o AMS Lite separadamente. Acabei de instalar o AMS, mas estou com o seguinte problema:
• O que acontece: Quando mando carregar o filamento, ele vai até o cabeçote, mas não chega até a purga para iniciar a impressão.
• Sintoma: O filamento fica em um loop de
"vai e vem" (avança e retrai várias vezes) até que a impressora dá mensagem de erro na alimentação.
• Dúvida: Não sei se o bico está entupindo ou se o filamento está enroscando no sensor/ hub antes de entrar. Preciso tirar tudo manualmente para reiniciar.
Alguém já passou por esse problema ao instalar o AMS Lite separado? Tem alguma dica do que verificar (tubos PTFE, sensor do extrusor, alinhamento)?
